Good. First time to the movies in months. Easy to reserve seats online. Clean. Not crowded. No concessions due to COVID. They werent checking bags so we were able to bring snacks and juice boxes.

Its great seeing the theater have many disinfecting stations and the staff diligent in being Covid-19 compliance.The theaters and bathrooms were clean and the short break to escape to the movies was great.

We visited the theatre for the first time since early March and since this was a surprise date, I didnt know where we going until we got there. Ill admit to being a bit nervous but also happy to be back at the movies. Mostly it was fine but for those considering going back, here are the things I experienced.1) Social distancing went out the window even before we entered the building. Groups of people were arriving at the same time and werent waiting for those ahead of them to enter. Also, the doors were closed so immediately Im touching something that someone else just touched.2) There was no signage or other direction in the lobby so we were all over the place before we figured out where to be. We had bought out tickets online which turns out you can go directly to the turnstile and have your tickets scanned from your phone.3) We read online that only every other row would be seated but people just sat where they wanted so there were people in the row directly in front of us. We moved but then we ended up in the seats of folks who showed up late. This happened twice so we juggled around a bit before we found a couple of seats that were safely distant from others.Once we got settled everything was fine. My nerves calmed and everyone seemed pretty relaxed.

Its very strict to follow safety rules which is good also i be better to buy tickets in advance and there is no snacks at the moment so you wont be able to bring or any any of those.

Rejoyce! The movies are Open again! Well, not really, but this theatre is the area first! Went to see early opening of Tenet. About an hour from me. Large theatre, plenty of parking, staff was efficient and courteous, allowing 40% capacity so Everyone was distanced and Masked, Very clean and the Dolby vision and Sound! Comfortable reclining seats. Book online. Enjoy!

Stadium seating is cool AND theyre actually open! Assigned seating away from others given the current situation. Get back to feeling normal and go to the movies!

Got a ticket for an 8pm movie. They shut and locked the doors on everyone when I got there. I knocked on the door and the employees just stared at me and kept pacing around. No communication whats so ever, and they wont answer the phones nor give me a refund. Literally an employee was washing the window and was looking at us. He did and said nothing. No hand gestures, no acknowledgement whats so ever. Let us wait for an hour or so before we left.

Great place to go & feel safe. Excellent staff from management to popcorn to cleaners .. all positive & helpful .. especially to us older folk who have trouble with technology

Great popcorn! Theres no long lines. The people are incredibly kind! If you cant eat popcorn, theres a snack checkout place. Movies in 3d are amazing as always! Heres a tip if you dont wanna waste money: when you buy a soda cup you can keep it in your house and reuse it about 6 times!

One of the few theaters in the area with Dolby Cinema. its an amazing experience for watching those big movies. Saw Endgame and the battle scenes are amazing. The IMAX theaters are also very nice.

Well run and transparent operation. Keep their auditoriums clean. Great movie variety choices. Easy access with free parking. Concession stand is poor for coffee, but Im there for a movie so it gets 5-star.

The people that work there seem depressed. The food prices are honestly as expected. You have to pay a lot at the movies it is what it is. They have these new theaters where they are really nice with big adjustable seats which I found to be very comfortable. I believe its an extra 9 bucks but i think its worth it. Its like sitting at home. The main issue though I think is the ticket system. They basically make you do an algebra equation just to get a ticket which is crazy. I miss the old days when you can just say the movie you want, pay, be handed the ticket and go watch it. A guy was behind me one time and randomly said just pick any seat no one follows where they have to sit anyway which will most likely happen a lot. He wasnt being rude he was being honest and unfortunately I agree. If the depression and the ticket system kick the bucket I would be there so much more and I would give 5 stars. I came there every 2 weeks now Im only there every 2 months.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Answered all the question knowledgeably and with a smile. I woman at the concession stand was very patient even when my companion was a little rude. The theater was warm and clean. It was comfortable to sit for 2 1/2 hours of movie. Look forward to returning

Management and associates here are a pleasure to interact with. Never an issue rescheduling when necessary. Only problem Ive ever had is with six vapers that refused to stop smoking at a night time show. Been avoiding night time shows ever since. Its a shame, other than that this place is perfect and the Dolby theater is so much fun.

Mostly decent, though wish refreshment stands at ends of building would be open on busy days, not just crowded one in middle. Parking good. Staff usually pleasant. Fun large promotional displays in lobby & hallways.

I love this theater! You can finally see the movies you love on a giant screen! I recommend AMC as a place for a movie with a friend or some family.

Not updated, where are the recliners?I just returned from a driving trip across the country and was surprised at the recliners in the movies.Then I came home to find the seats at our theater were updated...with new fabric!The price of my ticket is the same here as in a fully modernized theater elsewhere.Plus they have installed terminals for you to get your own ticket instead of a person.I am not a fan of replacing jobs traditionally filled by young people.

Overall very nice theater had a great experienc e. Except the food area and around the lobby could use a little cleaning and the young man that was collecting the tickets had a tissue hanging out of his nose which I dont think is very sanitary or really appropriate to do when people are coming in and hes handing them the tickets to get into the movies other than that I would definitely be back.

Great place to see a movie. They have films from standard to reclined 3d. The Imax is nice too. I like to go catch a cheap movie on Sundays mornings its the best deal

I never had a bad experience with AMC of Danbury before, but last time was an awfully experience. We went to see Frozen 2 at the Dolby Auditorium, and the auditorium was nasty dirty.First, we waited for the workers finish cleaning, to get into the auditorium, but I could not believe my eyes when we did. The seats had popcorn all over them, the floors was covered with popcorn as well.I almost left, but my 7 year old daughter was so excited to see Frozen 2 that I decided to stay.Totally awful, we had to wipe off the popcorn of our 4seats using our hands. Disgusting!Whoever is in charge of the cleaning of the theater needs to step up. GET THE AUDITORIUMS CLEAN.We are paying to seat there. Come on!

Convenient location accessible from several directions. Large parking lot. Good mix of theaters, including IMax. Efficient snack service.

It is filthy! The minute you walk in the entire place is covered in popcorn. All over the floor! Soda area sticky. Butter flavoring area sticky as well. Theaters themselves seemed pretty clean though. Bathrooms were not clean either. Garbages were over flowing!

It was a beautiful theater, and I have an autistic 3 year old so we decided to go to a sensory screening for the movie Onward, only problem was I think they forgot to lower the volume. Well still definitely be back.

Love this theater. Good location, food is the usual; they have the awesome mixable coke machines. Took a star off only because the last theater I was in had a few broken recliners.

I found a tortoise under my seat while watching a movie. When I screamed for help (i have an irrational fear of tortoises) they kicked me out and asked me to never come here again.

Always clean, easy to get in and out especially with new ticket kiosks. Bargain Tuesday’s and matinee tickets are good deals. I love that they always have the movies I’m looking for.

The reclining seat have never been cleaned. I had the first showing of Frozen 2 1045am. Still popcorn in the seats and floors haven’t been vacuumed.

Nice theater which I have been coming to for the past 18 years. My only complaint is that the process to buy a ticket was poor. First, I started on the Fandango website but they wanted to charge me a fee. I wasnt sure why but since the movie had been out a while I decided to buy my tickets at the box office. When I got to the theater there were 2 unorganized slow moving lines (for patrons with and without Stubs). The process required you to buy your ticket via machine and the one attendant was too busy with other people to answer my questions. So, I was not able to apply my Stubs rewards to the purchase price of the ticket and I never found out if there was a discount for my high-school student (which they do advertise on their website).Typically, AMC Danbury would get four stars but last night you only earned three stars due to the inconvenience.

Nice cinema. Staff was efficient. Bathrooms were spotless.

I went to this theatre with my family for my birthday. We watched a movie, it was good, just good. I do hope the continued to remain focus, giving the people what they want. I was happy I went . This one of the best so far,. I do enjoyed myself. Parking space for all types of vehicles children could even see the movie, elderly I of a sure , restrooms available, wonderful.

The seating, screens and sound system are nice in all the theaters. The staff are very friendly and helpful.. The lobby floors are disgusting and filthy during the busy hours. The food is overpriced but thats the norm these days I guess.

Place was packed and full of people I knew from the neighboor! Very clean and spacious. However, I paid $13 for my tickets and got regular chairs that were actually pretty uncomfortable. Food at AMC cost an eye!

The movie was awesome. Sound system excellent. My only concern are the seats and floor. The seats are comfortable but the armrests and floor need to be thoroughly cleaned. I know theaters are notorious for stick to floors but it shouldnt, neednt be that way. Please clean up after your patrons better

Nice theater. The new ticket windows are nice but can be a bit cumbersome. Food is pretty pricey, as expected from a movie theater.

Very disappointed. Purchased a gift card, and they had NO envelopes to put it in. Just handed me the card and receipt. Looks like a cheesy, sloppy gift. They said the holiday season wiped them out. Theres no excuse for that, except poor planning.

As a stub member of the AMC theaters I am totally pleased to pay a monthly membership fee and not to pay each visit. The Dolby Cinema is great and make the movie going a Joy.

This place when you walk in is really not worth the look around. Its old, dark and poor lighting. But all the actual theaters are new, dark and very clean. the Dolby stadium is my personal favorite and the best choice to watch Godzilla in.

One of the very few theatres that is playing the Christian movie Kingdom man rising. Given the volume of people, the lines still moved quickly. Clean well organized.

It happened to my friends car while we were watching the of Captain Marvel on Friday.Me and my friends and everyone I know are definitely never going back to this place as long as it treats its customers this way.

Awesome, used my coupons for free lg. popcorn, free lg. soda, free movie ticket, so only had to buy for three others. We were first in the theater and only a few others came in after us. Sound was great, movie was really great, place was quiet and not crowded in the lobby for a change.

Theater is average, but the website is so laughably bad its not even worth it. Not mobile friendly and if you want to reserve a seat good luck because itll randomly boot you every few minutes while youre looking for a seat you want. Theres no way to just change the time and see available seats you need to hit back and scroll down to the option you wanted again, and sometimes itll say seats are available when they arent. I have tried to buy 2 seats and both times the website booted me before I could, so clearly they dont want my money so Ill go somewhere else.

Was disappointed. Been going here for a while and they had been fine in the past. Recently they changed the setup in the front which funnels everyone to one point causing a long line. On top of that the register is understaffed which makes the wait even longer. I get theyre trying to switch to the automated registers but they should set the line up in a way that moves people along quicker.

The prices of the food was fairly overpriced and the seats in my theater were a bit dated. Overall, the experience was okay. Its a convientnt theater. However, for a $13 ticket. I expected better quality.

Standard chain movie theatre with expected selection of shows, viewing options, and refreshments. At times, struggles to remain clean and tidy. However, Stubs membership is well worth it and makes viewing movies in theater much more affordable.

So just went to see Avengers Endgame, and though I normally dont do movie theaters anymore, I go once in a while for movie I really want to see on the big screen. But I have to tell you, what used to be a great movie going experience, has become a crap show. Nobody works behind the desk anymore, everything is computer operated/handled, which is great for those who actually know what to do, but then you are sitting in line waiting on people in front who obviously cant follow the prompts/instructions which frustrates them and those around them. I say all this to ask, what happened to this thing called customer service, but then every place of business wants a 5 star rating. What a joke, lol!

The Dolby Cinema is a must for anyone that truly enjoys going to the movies...

Typical theater chain venue, losing its attraction in recent years. The competition of anytime in home streamed movies shown on modern home theater setups is winning. Now AMC ropes off their grand lobby, requires assigned seeting, may inspect bags, touch screens replacing humans...reminds me of a tense TSA airport terminal. No thanks.

Went to see IT: chapter 2 and purchased the imax tickets the theater was beautiful and the experience was magnificent. Everyone was on point and what surprised me the most is the attention to detail I had my ID checked just as a curtesy for the movie. Most theaters are lazy and don’t care I usually go to IPIC for that reason the amazing service but this theater definitely has my stars. 5/5 would recommend and return happily.

The staff are great here and really take care of everyone quickly and efficiently, always with a smile.

Is my favorite theater in Western Connecticut. Its always clean, it has very comfortable seats. The screens are huge. And theres all the new movies playing. they also occasionally have some sort of a deal where you can get free tickets or some other sort of a thing you can do. Its usually not crowded with loud people or annoying people or using their phones. If I really want to watch a movie, I always go here.

Its an alright theatre...Do not like the self pay system though to pick your seats before hand. I would rather go in and pick my seats out. Kids like to do that.....As it was there were so many seats in there to pick from. The downstairs section was completely empty.....Not right! Tickets are expensive enough with everything else....First come first serve.......

If theres a terrible Snow Storm and you tell them you cant come to work because the roads are bad and theres no way you can get there.. they dont care why you cant make it.. they just want you there, so after getting there and working for like an hour and 15 minutes.. they send you home... so coming into work was all for nothing if youre not really needed. So dont waste your time working there, plus if youre an Usher with two or three other Ushers on a Premiere Night, youre expected to get everything done within the nick of time.. with very little help/not a lot of help at all.

Went to the Dolby theatre for the first time. The leather recliners are AMAZING!!!! Surround sound is incredible, what a huge difference between the regular theater sound & Dolby sound system...literally vibrates your whole body! We had the whole theater to ourselves which was AWESOME. The sound was missing for the first few previews but they came & fixed it quickly as soon as I went & found someone. They need to have someone closer for any issues as I had to run all the way out of the theater to the front where we bought our tickets - there was no one remotely near our theater or in the hallway. But everything else was great. Prices are of course so much more expensive now for food & tickets but it is what it is...otherwise, fantastic experience!

It was a different experience going to the Danbury area but it was excellent overall. The customer service was great which includes concessions and the ticket taker who was great in assistance. The IMAX screen could have been bigger compared to other venues but it was clean and comfortable so we will be back.

Theater was nice, the seats are comfortable, bathrooms were nice and clean. The two rating is because we had to watch commercials for 30 minutes AFTER the movies advertised start time. Bohemian Rhapsody, scheduled to start at 12:50 didnt actually start until 1:20.

This is the theatre I like to go to for my flicks. Theyve recently been upgrading the theatre and now have one with the nice cushion recliners. They will still need to update more of their rooms in the future, but Im sure they will. The theatre is very clean compared to others Ive visited.

Not a fan of all the different lines they have created. Confusing and not really enough of premium service to warrant it. Also, found assigned seats disappointing to not include premium chairs. It was fine. Just getting pickier as cost continue to rise. Hard to know what to expect. Tricky to add plus one when others want to come doing last minute

Reception was held with coffee and a bucket of popcorn for viewing the 3 contenders of the acadamy award pictures was provided. After each picture shown, the ability to win prices specific to the movies was presented. It was an enjoyable experience and I won a T shirt.

Thats the most nostalgic place for me in Danbury

Not a big movie goer but this place is pretty good I ordered tickets online, and it was very easy. I walked in and scanned my card got my tickets and walked in no lines!!!
