Interesting little log cabin home across from the JFK memorial. Solidly built with the character and charm when log cabins were first built as homes.

Replica of the log cabin pioneers of Dallas County first built in 1842 by John Neely Bryan, colonist from Tennessee, USA, though bricks were only available by 1860.

When nearby the 6th floor museum, take time to consider how the first buildings of Dallas looked like 150 years ago. Hard to notice, you wont see this little house unless you pay attention. In this area, pionners settled using stones and wood they could find here (dont wonder why the streets around the log cabin are Elm street and Main street).
