The scam institute... they charge 100s of thousands for tuition and dont even provide you with the expensive supplies required to complete homework. Shady and coerce you into signing paperwork that puts you in debt. They manipulate and brainwash young people and make it seem like they will do anything to help you land a career. Just check the other ratings and graduation rates.

....hmm. Im just gonna listen to the majority and not the 5 star spoiled rich kids. Im just an average Texan and sounds like this school is not for the common Texans. This school is too far anyways and Dallas is just crazy.

The Art Institute is s huge scam. Do not attend this school run away! They charge a high price for low quality education. They do not care for the students and will make it difficult for you if you try to transfer elsewhere. Also all the”credits” received here will not transfer anywhere else. This is not a accredited institution, it’s a joke. They were also sued by the U.S government in the past. This institution screams money hungry. I learned more on YouTube and from workshops than I did here. Also the price for tuition is wrong its not $17,000 its 85,000. Extremely over priced.

Ai Dallas is a great school. Students celebrate each others success, and the professor(s) are industry giants.

Currently going to this school, its super ghetto.. in the culinary department the ingredients are never fresh. Recently all the veterans got screwed over with the pell grant for this month, the school decided to change the school code a week before we got paid.... so now nobody knows when we will get that grant... Did a big project last quarter, the damn teacher never bothered to look at it so it never got a final grade....so yea this school is a joke... will definitely go to another school next year

I learned a lot when it comes to cooking here thanks to my teachers and chefs who put on the needed amount of time to share their knowledge to me.

While attending this school, personally, I was going through very bad depression. But I attended all my classes, was never late or absent, I was on the A honor roll. But when they school hears about my situation, they tell me that Im not ready to be there WITHOUT looking at my grades or attendance! Because Im not smiling 24/7 Im not ready?? This school is not a school that cares about the students personally, was a huge waste of money and not worth it. And guess what, I have started my own clothing line and have done 6 fashion shows since then... But oh yea Im not ready!

I would give nothing if I could. HUGE debt, and if you plan on tranferring to a college HA GOOD LUCK!!! I did 33 hours, and only 2.67 of them got transferred I paid $2,274.56 for nothing. Do not waste your money here or ANY Art Institute I have more to.add because now Im more pissed off. After I pay off, its a year later and now they say I owe $1,559.93; I havent attended that school sine July of 2015. Do NOT go here.

First off, you will probably not get a job right out of school like the institute promises you. No one I know that has graduated has a job in the industry that they wanted, and I am talking culinary, graphic design, and a couple film majors.Secondly the teaching at the school is abismal at best. I literally had a teacher who was teaching photoshop who openly admitted to the class that she did not know how to use the program well. Fantastic. But it doesnt really matter because you dont need to do anything to pass, just act like youre working and show up. Tah dah you graduated with no additional knowledge. Now dont get me wrong there are SOME teachers here with incredible talent and have a knack for teaching. However the school does not recognize these few individuals and has actually fired several of them because of pay cuts.... So much for that. And Lastly If you come to AI and decide that its not for you, you dont have the money, or you want to switch from art to another degree and decide to move. Well. You cant. Not unless you want to start from square one. No college worth mentioning accepts credits from the art institute because it is actually regarded by most universities as a poorly constructed school and our credits dont count for much. I dare you to go ask a university or high level college and see what they say. I have. That is what I was told. So save your time, money, and nerves. Go to a good school. A REAL school. Hope this helps.

Im not going to give this school a 5 star rating, BUT THE ART INSTITUTE OF DALLAS is a great school!!!!I love, love, love this school, but if you are looking for a real college experience, this in not the school for you. At Ai you get more of a professional job-world experience. Classes are light weight, and they give you the perfect amount of work. You will also meet great people / networks, and that includes students, staff, and instructors. The only down fall is the cost. I went to Ai for one year, and it got pretty hard for me financially, so i took it upon myself to withdraw. I must admit i REGRET IT as of today, but im going to get a degree (that the Art Institute does not offer) at a university, and I will surely go back to the Art Institute. No if, ands, or buts about it. I LOVE THIS SCHOOL.ps. I graduated High School in 2010 so im still young, but this school is great for all ages.

I would not go to this. After 18 years since attendence and a debt from the actual school they will not release my transcript so that I can attend a community college to get my degree. This is the worst school. I hated it.

Too expensive, their graduation and alumni hiring rate were so low the past years that they went around it to another topic when I asked what were the recent percentages.
