Great round of golf today. Prior to entering a temp check was done. Greens were in fair shape. Did 9holes with cart in 2hrs. Great cousre, staff and carts have GPS!A gem of a course.

A great find, I have just moved back to the area and have heard stories about the Navy Course but multiple visits have exceeded expectations.The club house and facilities are top notch, you can tell this was an existing private facility and the quality of the selection in the pro shop was quite extensive.Both courses (Cruiser and Destroyer) are also very well maintained and a lot of fun. Price is right too on the weekend might be a bit more pricey but overall very good.

First time I actually played the full Navy course and it was probably one of the nicest local golf courses I have played I would compare it to even a lot of the ones I have traveled for

Played cruisers course 9 holes executive. Pace was nice and relax, fairway is clean and nice and the green was in excellent condition.

Greens are tiered mostly do you have to hit it on the right level. Great staff and overall great condition on the course!

Very Bad Experience Today!My husband, Active Duty, booked his tee time through the MWR app. Immediately called the golf course because the app didnt have single golfers, (only 2 or 3 or 4) The lady he spoke to over the phone told him to go ahead and come in and just let them know at check in that he was alone.He got an attitude from the guy inside at the counter because he was a single golfer. But was allowed to get a cart and go to the starter. Then the guy at the starter called inside to verify him being a single golfer. A supervisor was now at the counter, he said he could instead add my husband to the group of 3 a half an hour later. When my husband questioned the rule of mixing groups he told him well I guess you cant golf today, we can give you your money back or find someone to golf with or you just cant ever golf here again at least not until Covid is over. They told my husband to call someone to join him, when my husband replied with he didnt know anyone that plays golf in his command, they laughed and said what you dont have any friends?They ended up letting my husband golf and told him just this one time. When he got on the course the group ahead of him was only 2 golfers even tho they told him they would only allow groups of 3 or more.The new rules dont say No Single GolfersI called the golf course at 5:30pm the voice recording said only groups of 3 or 4 golfers allowed. How would my husband know that ahead of time if the lady he spoke to over the phone didnt tell him?He was charged 3 times what he use to pay before covid. When he asked about the price increase, they told him they had to make up the difference because of Covid. The golf course is the only thing offered locally to our local military. For the price he could have just gone to a Public Golf Course thats been open for a while and NOT gotten the rude attitude.Its sad to know that MWR Employees treat Active Duty Military with this type of Disrespect.

I’m Tiger fan and Navy golf course provided him with the wonderful achievements, so it deserves a Five start evaluation.

Cruiser lags and destroyer is great

This is quite nice golf course. Everything is very well-maintained, and the staff is awesome. You cant beat the price! also on the 18-hole course, there is actually a tree named for Tiger Woods. It was his home course as a kid.

Course was in great shape. Greens were pretty fast. Make sure you bring your credit card for some reason this place doesnt take cash anymore.

One of the best conditioned golf course in LA or OC combined. Its open to public but almost impossible to get a tee time on Saturday mornings because military personnel have priorities. A flat but challenging course.

Myself and 19 others 5 foursomes had a little mini tournament today wind was blowing 30 miles per hour plus made the course very tough but the course was in great condition we had a great time the staff and the restaurant is terrific. Youll never be disappointed at the Navy Golf Course.

Played 9 holes on fathers day and the greens were well kept

I gave 1 star because this is the only course in CA that isnt open. We wanted to play cruiser Saturday, everything online said open 630am to 6pm. Show up, gates closed and course closed.

I love this golf course mostly. BUT it seems almost always to be overbooked. It usually takes over 5 hours to finish a round of golf. Apart from this, it is very good.

Golf course in great shape, but it took us 5 hours to play 14 holes. No Marshalls patrolling. Very upsetting. Never playing there again

Great Staff, good food, and Friendly People

Liked the course but the pace of play was horrendous. Tee time for 1pm and could not finish 4 holes because the walkers slowed everyone up so bad. Really need to have a course Marshall monitor pace of play

It was excellent condition I have gone here many times but yesterday was the best of all. nice Fairway condition was good and there was a water-filled of all the dry pons ..and weather was very nice and Breezy green was little slow but condition was excellent. It was nice day

Easy access, close to major streets (Valley View and Katella), plenty of parking, great place for lunch, golf, or just relaxing.

I found the Navy Golf Course to be excellent. Nice fairways, greens were perfect, very well stocked Pro Shop, and the restaurant/ bar was nice. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms. Everyone that worked there was very nice too.I will definitely be back.

Im not much of a golfer go with my friend once in awhile but I did totally enjoy my time at the Navy Golf Course who was nice and clean very friendly you can always pick up a cold beverage and lunch while youre there stop by treat yourself 2 couple rounds and cold beverage great club sandwiches also very nice golf course you will enjoy it especially if your natural golfer

Wow, what a great place to play a round of golf. Offers a reasonable level of challenge but a bit forgiving too. Price for a round of golf is fair - $65.

Cruiser is a nice executive 9 hole. Holiday prices have gotten to high. Staff is great. Sal always takes good care of us at the 19th hole.

I only been on the Cruiser course. Its nice, clean, and spacious. Price is good compared to other places in OC. Good value overall. No fees for golf carts. Couple downsides that can be easily overlooked is that its not a full course so no par 5 holes and only 9 holes but you get to go twice. People here are usually nice but once in awhile, you get inconsiderate people, usually the younger crowd, that golf with 6 or more people to a group or goof around by taking too long or pounding the end of their golf handles on the green to make dimples. Otherwise, many are friendly and even honest by holding onto, giving back, or pointing out a club you mightve left behind.

We have played here many times over a lot of years. It seems to get better every time.The course and greens are in great shape. Very big greens by the way. From the tips its too long for me but I still enjoy getting beat up by the place. The snack bar is in a good place but I dont understand why there was not a beverage cart driving around on Friday afternoon. The range is good with fixed targets and a big sign for yardages. The bar area is big and comfortable. Good drinks too.

Used to be my favorite course .... lately it has been TOO SLOW...dont really know if there were any changes in management or marketing, but it seems like tee times were always open until you are actually there to find out that youre 3rd or 4th up....average round is over 5h, if youre lucky to finish....on the other hand, course condition is always great overall, from tee box to green....

The rains in the previous season gave this course beautiful fairways and greens. Appreciate the superintendent in taking care of the course.

Highly recommend taking a cart. Lots of footage to cover. Our bad ! Otherwise had a great time.

A nice well run golf course in Cypress! The greens were better than average and in good condition. The fairways were in very good shape. Too bad I picked a day that was very windy so I had to club up as much as 2 or 3 clubs to reach my desired distance! If it wasnt for all of the military air traffic both fixed wing and helicopter noise and fly overs I would go back again!

Played the 9 hole Cruiser course. No waiting and enjoyed being there with my eldest son who is a veteran. People there very nice and courteous. Great time and will go again.

Best golf course around here at a very reasonable price.

First time here. The entire course is kept up very nicely. The have different sections around the driving range for practicing putting and chipping. The fairways and greens are GREEN, short and nice to play on. The holes are fair lined with more water than I like but it makes it for a great, challenging outing.

Great course for the price (if you are AD or a veteran). The 18 hole course normally moves along pretty quickly on weekdays and a bit slow on the weekends. The 9 hole course is normally rittled with beginners, but it can still be fun. Always a fun spot for tournaments.
