Wonderful place to take children and teens. I purchased a family pass here because it’s very safe and exceptionally clean. During this summer of the Covid 19 Pandemic, I have been so impressed with the professionalism and kindness extended by the staff in every aspect of the park’s employment. From the lifeguards, the people cleaning and sanitizing the equipment, the staff assigned to concessions, and those employees tasked with entrance fees, each and every employee has extended themselves with friendliness and abundant care.

I really wish it opened earlier. The kids like this place overall. But at a certain time with all the people, chairs in water, toys, floats and everything people can bring in it gets way too packed. I can’t believe it’s not a safety issue with how packed it gets. Plus all the “stuff” you can’t even move. The food is fine in the concession stand.I generally pack snacks. The bathrooms need more focus this year. You can’t neglect those when the place is as busy as it gets!!

Waterworks is not following any of the safety protocols for COVID-19 that they claim to on their website. On the website they said they would be designating seating to customers and did none of the such. They claim that it is a reduced limited capacity compared to normal and that is a crock. The capacity was the exact same if not more than on any normal day. Today it was completely crowded like every other single time I have been there. At the concession they have the box of spoons for your ice cream sitting right up front and center where you order so that every customer ordering can talk and breathe right all over the whole box of spoons and they are not even individually wrapped in plastic. On the website they said they will be putting floating dividers or flotation devices as dividers in between customers in the lazy river and they did nothing of the such at all the lazy river was normal as it always is any other time before COVID. They are posting these things to cover themselves only but not carrying them out at all.I’ve been to waterworks many many times, we go several times every single summer and it was absolutely no different than any other time, at all! Not quite sure why they have all of those safety procedures listed on their website for no reason. I can guarantee that the capacity was full sized.

This was a nice water park, great for my two-year-old. She particularly loved the sand pit. There was some nice little water features that made building sand castles easy. The pool water ended up being bit cold for her. But she persevered and did have a good time walking around the shallow end. We also got ice cream from the concession stand, which was good. But the other food wasn’t particularly fresh (French fries and soft pretzels). There is a $5 minimum for card transactions. We weren’t able to go on any of the slides or the lazy river since my daughter was too small. However, overall, it was a nice little aquatic center and a great activity for the kids. We will probably go again later in the summer.

Review №21

Nice place, but it has several big minuses. Primarily it deals with it’s schedule. The Center opens daily at 11:00 am. Why so late? Why not at 9-10 like most outdoor pools? And the most disappointing issue is that the Center closes in mid August. I understand that Waterworks cater to school children and keep working hours according to most schools schedules. But what about the rest of the population? Apparently they are not being considered by Cuyahoga Falls admiration. Maybe it’s worth keeping a part of the pool open for the rest of the summer for adults, as a matter of fact, the tax payers who contributed to the city of Cuyahoga Falls funds. And hire some professional lifeguards other than college students to keep this Center open longer. Otherwise what a huge waste of a wonderful facility.

Sa
Review №22

Its alright, too many rules, little kids cannot have a life jacket in the bigger pools- and my kid was half an inch tiny for the whirlpool. If they have such a hard time looking under a floaty then have people take them out when not in use. Other parks dont have as many rules.

After driving a half an hour to get here we waited 45 minutes in line to hear another customer complain that they wouldn’t accept her ID. So we asked, and she said that they don’t accept the ones with the hole punch that they need the new ID to get in. I called while in line to verify. The only way they will accept the hole punched ID if you have the paperwork they gave you. NOT LISTED ANYWHERE ON THE SITE!!! Thankfully the lady in line told us, because we would’ve wasted a lot more time.

Review №40

After paying all that money for a season pass youd think youd get to swim a little more and maybe the food prices wont be so insane. Most of the lifeguards act either annoyed that they have this as a job or intilted to fuss about EVERYTHING. The park closes at 8:00 pm but you have to be out of the water at ten till? Twice in early June they closed because it was 70 degrees. Passes are too expensive not to swim when I want to swim, cold or not. Very lax security and bathrooms are always disgusting. Would like to see the officer that patrols actually patrolling instead of standing in one spot looking at one person. Maybe they should extend the park some with all of the money they are making on the tickets to thin the crowd! Inspection on the slides should happen more, the slide leaks towards the bottom. Popped the back of my head on the side in the deep end so hard I felt nauseous and the lifeguards didnt care.

There are picnic tables and grills to use. Plenty of lawn chairs available. Also, a grassy area for your own chairs. They have a concession area where you can buy drinks and food. Water Works is absolutely wonderful if youre a resident of Cuyahoga Falls because there prices are really cheap if youre a resident, but if you arent you pay a pretty penny of $17 vs the $7 for being a resident. The place has Waterslides, a lazyriver, kiddy area, sand play area, and more. They also have $1 ice cream cones, so thats always nice.

This was my second time coming here. I believe they raised the prices and you have to have an i.d. or you cant get it. I cant remember if we needed an i.d. last year. The concession stand wasnt too badly priced. $1 for a soft serve cone and $2 for a hot dog. Just over crowded a bit. There is always a lot of people and barely enough parking spaces but the park itself is great.

I love living in Cuyahoga Falls and Waterworks is a big reason why! Very fun and clean waterpark. The only downfall is that sometimes it gets over crowded. We drove over 30 minutes here because we heard good things about this water park. The water slides are the only good thing I can say about it. My 4 year old was playing in the sand area when a family of 7 came and started playing where he was. They took his shovel and broke it and shoved him down. I went over to make sure he was okay and asked them not to put their hands on my son. Their mother came over and got nasty with me and I told her they are old enough to know better. Her kids were 10 yrs old and older. I talked to a manager and he did absolutely nothing. I asked why wasnt there a age limit in the sand area and he said because there isnt. I asked why wasnt there someone there to watch the area and he said that was the parents job. Well if the parent doesnt care if her kids are bullys then what are you supposed to do? The management is not able or knowledgeable to deal with situations that may happen.

This place has really gone down hill... fast. The city pushes and pushes for you to buy a membership. Once you buy one, if it rains or is too cold, you can go to the Natatorium, but you have to pay (*discounted rates) to swim there. Its policies about swimwear are not enforced, so if you are o.k. with seeing people in underwear swimming, youll be fine. Kids/teens also go through bags that dont belong to them, looking for, and taking whatever they want, so watch your belongings! Other than that, its a great place to go!

Its small, more for children. I wish the low prices were for everyone and not just for residents. The staff were very lazy. The lady who was working the slides was wrapped up in a blanket refusing to help 2 children who were struggling to go down the slide because she was cold. One little girl fell face down on the slide, and another hit her head and was flopping around. They need a proper guideline to follow while going down the slide. So children wont get hurt. Also kids were peeing on the stairs while waiting to go down the slide, so it smelled like pee the whole time. The tubes in the lazy river could be bigger, and inflated more. They were all flat, especially on the slide, which made it harder to go down.
