This is a good place to take the kiddos on an overcast day. For me It would be uncomfortable to visit on a hot day because I sweat to much but I. Sure you could find some shade if you come early enough or on a day when its not crowded like a week day.

Really cute little space that I think is a bit unknown right now. Its not typically crowded, I went there on a Saturday afternoon, so...maybe it will stay a nice quiet place for a while. Great design, looks clean and fresh with the colors and design. There are CA food plants as well as a variety of native plants to check out, and a rock/sand garden or labyrinth. Really pretty seating areas as well.

The Stoneview Nature Center is such a unique and lovely space. My favorite part is meditating in the labyrinth. Ask a question at the beginning and take your time following the path. You may find an answer as you reach the center. As you circle back out, experience gratitude and release.

Beautiful place to take a break from city life to enjoy nature at the finest. You can hike from Stoneview Nature Center to Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook using the trail near the nature center, it is about 0.5 miles walk and return is 1 mile. This park was clean restrooms, degradable granite on walking trails, and tons of fun programs once we return to normal life.

Stoneview Is an amazing Park that has a lot of workshops to offer. I was amazed and floored by some of the classes that they offer. They have the usual like meditation classes and they also have sourdough bread making workshops or bee keeping classes. The hike that also goes around the park is really nice and has a wonderful panoramic view of the city. I can bring my dog here and admire all the native plants they have cultivated.

Really lovely small park with picnic tables. Meander around and observe different plants growing - figs, pineapples, lemons, pomegranates- and enjoy the native wildlife. If youd like more adventure, follow the trail to link up with the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. Its gorgeous, but not shady - bring water and sun protection!

When you follow the road/paved sidewalk to the top and before you descend to the dirt trail leading to La Cienega, hang a left by the library/museum looking building. This will lead you to an alternate vista with an amphitheatre.

Its a hidden gem. I was there for a focus group. The indoor space is small but it has a kitchen with indoor and outdoor seating. There are trails for walking or running I suppose. They also have monthly and weekly events. Its only open from 8 to 5. Beautiful and peaceful space. I will be back.

Cute place to take your kiddos. My son enjoys the mini nature walk. Plus look up their calendar and go on a Saturday when they have a craft class. Weve done a few and you get to take home yummy creations. Like pickled veggies or smoothies, while you learn. Plus - plus!
