Ive attended a few events at this gallery space and am blown away by their collection of art and antiques. Theyve created a turn-of-the-century French salon in downtown Culver City, from the decadent fabrics and color palette, to the original lithographs and posters lining the walls. I cant wait for the next event - or better yet, the next sale!

Century Guild is one part opulent museum, one part eccentric art gallery, one part publishing house, and one part unique social hub for all manner of creatives in different mediums. Home to Art Nouveau, Symbolist, and classical and modern masterpieces of art, Century Guild has an eclectic and expansive aesthetic and the atmosphere is unlike anywhere youve been before. They have amassed and/or displayed a collection of works by such accomplished and distinct artistic voices as Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Dave McKean, Gail Potocki, Clive Barker, Stephanie Inagaki, Allan Amato, Jeremy Bastian, and so many more! When it comes to art, whether youre craving the darkly symbolic, pop cultural kitsch, the elegant and pastoral, or bohemian chic, they have it covered.Century Guild has in the past hosted some amazing exhibitions of both contemporary and classical art. Now as they continue to evolve creatively and artistically, their focus has shifted to publishing art books, creating gorgeous prints from their collection and from the work of the artists theyve represented over the years through many exhibitions, offering apparel featuring dynamic artwork, and raising awareness of contemporary artists whose work transcends categorization and genre.Theyve also very successfully launched numerous Kickstarter campaigns for exhibition catalogs and books, including their upcoming book, Le Pater, which examines Alphonse Muchas lyrical interpretation of The Lords Prayer through intensely symbolic and occult imagery.Century Guild is fantastic !
