This little attraction offers a serene escape into the delightful imagination of Br. Joseph Zoettle. We used a Groupon for admission, and spent over an hour exploring the unique replicas and carvings of cities, historic places and shrines from around the world. It was fun examining the trinkets that were used to create these replicas. Makes for a great day trip if you’re looking for something to do in AL. The grounds are wheelchair/stroller accessible, but there is a steep incline when making your way back to the gift shop.

Beautiful place Ave Maria Grotto is a national landmark for people to visit . They also have holy water here and a vast amount of Catholic books it’s not hard to find directions led us right to it from google. They are open during the Covid situation as it’s outdoors. They are very friendly and don’t forget to try the bread that the monks made its well worth the $5.
