High marks for the golf maintenance staff. These courses are in excellent condition. More than I can say for the patrons during Covid-19 restrictions. Other than the course staff there were NO masks to be seen around the club house. Idiots!

Great course. Very tight on the rules and no drinks on the course was rough

Review №3

The courses are beautiful and in great shape. However, these courses will die with the old men that play them if they dont change the way they do business. The rangers were on us from the start to pick up the pace even though the foursome behind us was a hole and a half back. There are no cart girls. You cant drive in the rough which does slow things down immensely. I have played at TPC courses, Bay Hill, and the best private and public courses all over the country and these guys are the rudest and tightest about their course. If they dont change, the next gen of golfers wont show up.

Rangers berate you numerous times throughout the round and herd you like your cattle. Will never return to a course that allows for that type of treatment. Worst experience ever on a course by far!

My husband golfed (walked) front 9 of Crag course, I walked with him. Not really being a golf aficionado, I can only say that the course is beautiful, very scenic, and I enjoyed the walk. Be prepared for gnats, though.

The Crag and the Brae are two challenging tracks. They both have very different feels. They both have holes that never feel like you are repeating the same hole over and over and elevation changes that make even a 290 yard hole challenging.

Very nice course with some beautiful views and interesting holes. Well kept up and it was nice playing here. We also visited the driving range and pro shop, both of which were nice and clean with friendly staff. Overall, it was a nice day and I would recommend to others who enjoy golf and are looking for an area course to try out.

The Brae . Course in great shape considering the amount of rain its received in the past week and a half. Greens are smooth and fairways, are not muddy or waterlogged. Was cart path only, but that wasnt an imposition. Staff are pleasant and efficient. Theres not much to dislike.

Heatherhurst Golf Club is home to two of the five championship courses available for play in Fairfield Glade, a resort and retirement community located on the Cumberland Plateau in eastern Tennessee. Heatherhursts 18-hole Brae and Crag courses were both designed by Gary Roger Baird and opened in the late 1980s. The Brae was created by pairing-up the Creek and Mountain nines from the original 27-hole course, and is usually the higher rated layout. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.
