Nice Park with a very interesting history. Im glad they finally renamed the park after Dr. Venable.

Great children park which has tennis court, parking and restroom. A huge ground can be use for playing other games like football, baseball etc. restroom and shelter are also available for party or gatherings..

This is a normally quiet and well taken care of park. There are tennis courts, two decent kids play areas, an open area big enough for soccer, bathrooms, water fountain, several small grills, but only one gazebo. Five stars if it had more than one. Decent parking too, lot holds 48 spots.

One of my favorite parks in St. Louis, tennis courts (3 I believe), 2 different sets of playground equipment, one for small/toddler kids and then one also older kids. They also have soccer nets and a big grass area and a paved walking trail all around the park. Beautiful, tranquil area thats great for all ages!

Great park, but bathrooms are closed for the winter season. We rented the pavilion with the promise that theyll open the bathroom, but nope.

This park is very shady in the summer which is the most important criteria for me. My kids love it because the playground is tall with big slides.

Wonderful setting, nice playground for the children and a large walking path around the park surrounded by beautiful houses. Large flat area to play ball, football, soccer or to fly a kite. Tennis courts near a little work but you can still play tennis as long as you avoid the cracks in the wobbly areas.

Best park for hot or bright summer days. Best shade. Tallest slides. It is not very large but on days when the slides can get too hot for kids to ride...this is the park to be at.

It was nice. Bathroom wasnt far away from the pavilion and neither was the playground. And there was plenty of land for the kiddos to run around on.

This park is tucked in a nice residential area. There is no crowd and the few people who come here are very nice to reach other. Good place to go with young children or to play tennis or take your dog for a walk.

Great open spaces, soccer field, two jungle gyms, and tennis courts. This is overall a great park!

Fabulous neighborhood park & playground. Truly a hidden gem.

Nice place hidden somewhere, but we gotdumped on with thunder storm so we couldnt stay long, will go back w/ grandchildren.

We come here on days we need some fun and some shade.

I like this park because its removed from a main Street, so traffic is minimal. Its a rather large park that offers some equipment for most ages. The path is pretty and there are restroom facilities right near the parking lot. The large field is also nice for kids to play in. Its well maintained and overall a nice place to go to.

Im from Illinois and I met some of my family there for my 2 year old son to play and he had an amazing time. Lovely park people are very friendly. Love love love. Will be going back!!

This park is in a quiet neighborhood. It has very nice playground equipment, a pavilion, bathrooms, and a soccer field. I will definitely be taking my grandchildren there again.

This is a great place to bring our little guy between naps. The walking path around the park is long enough for me to get a walk (2x around), but no traffic to deal with!! He loves the end of our walks when we stop for the baby swings. The playground structure is massive, 3-story!

Beautiful pavillion we rented for my daughters 2nd birthday party and all had a blast. However, be advised, if you have a large number of people, you may want to consider bringing your own coal grill as a second, the provided grills arent that big.

Great park for families. Two play areas, one for younger children (pre-school) and one for older children (elementary). The latter has a large play structure, swings, and spinning poles. There is also a multi-court tennis area and be a full size sports field. Bathrooms open during the summer.

Nice .maintained opened areas for walking dogs and jogging with a little playground for children.

Beautiful park. It’s a small, out of the way, neighborhood park with a jungle gym and lots of seating. There is a big field for some recreational sports and lots of trees. Hope this helps!

Very unique park tucked away in a quaint neighborhood. Nice path around the park which is kid friendly. Kids all had a blast on the playground itself, which is 3 levels of awesome.

Tennis courts are pretty good considering they are public. Nice gazebo for public outings and a wide field fit for any sport.

When we lived in CC, pre-kids, wed walk here regularly to use the looped path, or the open field for frisbee or soccer, or the tennis courts. Moved away, had kids, came back on a lark recently to discover the playground had received a massive upgrade.
