We ordered a part to mount a scope to our rifle. The person who sold it to us didn’t read the description and sold us a mount that was too short even though the description said for older rifle models we would need the long action mount. We received it and shortly realized it would not work. They would not refund the entire cost of the product because we had it shipped to their store. We essentially handed them a perfect product and still paid for it because we were apparently still responsible for shipping and taxes. We will gladly drive an extra 10 minutes to go to AA Tactical where they found the correct part for us by doing the appropriate research.

Unlike most restorations, I wanted an old AR15A1 to look old, even though I had to add a new barrel and a new stripped lower. The challenge was to make the new parts (black parkerized) look like the old (circa 1980) worn, sunburned and not well treated, original finished parts. Josh took up the gauntlet (must have viewed it as a personal and professional challenge). Thanks to his talent and artistry, the result is exactly what I wanted - an old gun that functions well and looks like it has been around long enough to have a story or two to tell. Thanks a bunch, especially to Josh.

On July 27th we dropped off our bear bow to have it looked over and to have the limbs changed/ and we also purchased a Matthews. We left the Matthews there as well to have the sight, d-loop, and a rest put on. 3 weeks later when we came back the bear had not been touched. He then told us when we said we just wanted to go ahead and pick it up, that he would have it ready for us that day. We understood that this is the height of the season to have your bows fixed, which is why at first we weren’t upset. Cam, the guy that “fixes” the bows was very helpful at first and yes he seems extremely knowledgeable about the sport. Cam also told us that he had just received another job and that it was taking up most of his time. Again we were completely understanding and decided to let him keep the bow to work on it. During this time the bow was not touched and when we called to ask about it Cam told us that a man that was waiting on his bow to be fixed had noticed that our axel was bent. Mind you our bow had been there for a month and he had not noticed that our axel was bent himself. So he said HIMSELF that he wasn’t going to charge us for that and to let him finish it and he apologized. We went back the again and cam wasn’t there so they couldn’t give us our bow plus it was still in pieces. Also in between this time my husband got a new number and called the shop and told one of the workers that his information had changed and that he wanted to update his phone number, they said they had it covered. The third time my husband went back, he was headed to Pensacola he was going to pick it up and take it different bow shop and he expressed how we were upset to one of the workers because by this point it had been month and a half with no updates, Cam wasn’t responding to us and we haven’t been given an update on the parts he ordered. The worker told my husband that he was the owner and that he “normally doesn’t tell people that.” Also that he would personally look into it and have the parts expedited. My husband called four times in a week and never got a call back. On Tuesday my husband was headed to Niceville and he stopped by and the owner apologized and said that the part would be here the next day. He said that he had tried to call us but that the number was disconnected. Which means the other worker never updated our information. We came back two days later to get our bow and at first we were charged $80 for a “tune”. We told the worker who I found out to be the owner that we weren’t supposed to be charged that. He then called cam and cam said that we were supposed to be charged a $25 bench fee. We paid it just because we wanted our bow back. I spoke to the owner and was calm about the whole situation. He told me that since I was part of the bow and gun world that this is what it’s like to wait. I told him that I was upset that Cam was neglectful of us and that he lied to us. He didn’t believe me and there’s absolutely no point in arguing with them. It was our fault that we kept trusting them and its why we just picked up the bow that is not even fixed and we just dropped it off at a different bow shop. I understand that an owner wants to stand by their employees but we were being neglected.

Called them about my Mathews VXR 28 that I purchased at a different shop. When I was hunting this past weekend I took a shot at a deer and hit the bottom cam on my tree stand and bent and chipped my cam and derailed the string. Went to where I purchased the bow and could not get any real information so I called precision tactical arms they had me a new cam and string on the way in under 20 minutes plus they got Mathews to send the cam for free under warranty even though it was my fault. Can’t thank them enough for setting my mind at ease. They even offered to stay late or whatever it took to get my bow taking care of so I can get back to hunting.Above and beyond what was needed that’s how businesses should do things. I will be a repeat customer for now on and buy future bows from precision tactical arms.. thx...

This place is great! My son got a new bow from there and everyone was super helpful and friendly. Fixed the bow up exactly to fit my son! This has to be my sons favorite place, its where we take him when he makes good grades. My wife and I love the clothing as well. An all around great place.

Dont let the looks of the store and its world class interior setup deceive you. Their prices are super high and customer service is subpar at very least. I mean sure they have a great looking store and very well laid out interior. However, I personally didnt go there to enjoy seeing their exhibits or their personal rifles that they have displayed behind the counter. I went there to buy a firearm. And boy their price for that particular firearm was at least $200 more than what I was quoted by another store which I thought was already on an expensive side. Price wise they cannot compete with other stores in town, not to mention online prices. When it comes to customer service thats just another topic. When we went there they had two people behind the counter. One was already helping other customers, but the other one was eating his sandwich by the register and couldnt care less about his customers. We stood there for about good 5-6 minutes before finally the one that was helping other customers called that guy that was standing behind the register and eating his sub. Long story short, he was quite cocky and wasnt open to hear our opinions really. He just wanted to sell that overpriced gun and be done with it. Thats not the kind of a store where I would be spending my money. So we took our business elsewhere. We wont be going back to that store ever again.

Worst customer service ever! Had questions concerning a firearm, gentleman I spoke with didn’t seem to really care. I felt more a burden than an actual potential client. Afterwards, I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes followed by a hang up. It was at that moment I decided this place wasn’t worth my time nor money!

If you want to go to a place where they make fun of your build, this place is it. Told me that parts on my rifle were so cheap that it must have been built in Mexico. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Customer service at this location is a joke, seems as if the personnel think they are above the customer. To get custom work done, I would recommend AA Tactical.

Took my new Tanfoglio here to for cerakote and the job done was poor at best. It has runs, it is flaking off, magazines wont fall out freely the coat it self is to thick engraving marks are not visible anymore, the slide wouldnt cycle. Work took longer than promised and they never called me to tell me what was going on.Definitely not doing business here again.

I took a Glock 43 here for an undercut and sight installation. This was the first time I’ve been here, and it was enough to convince me never to come back again. The customer service here is horrendous. They put on a facade to lure you in, then after they have you hooked, you’re no longer a customer, but an invoice. My initial visit was pleasant, the gentleman was courteous and knowledgeable. He allowed me to see some work they had done previously to help me in deciding how I wanted my undercut to look. This was all irrelevant, due to the fact they ended up rushing the work anyway. I dropped my firearm off on the 4th. They said and even guaranteed to have it returned in a couple days. The following day, I called and decided to have sights installed too. I understand due to shipping I would have to wait a few additional days, so I asked the gentleman when they would arrive and everything would be completed. He told me they would take a day to arrive and I would still have the firearm returned Friday or Saturday. Friday came, so I called for an update. They left me on hold for 20 minutes, then hung up on me! No one called me back, so I called back. They lied and said the call got disconnected, even though I heard someone slam the phone up. The second gentleman I spoke with told me they had plenty of work in front of me, and haven’t got to my firearm yet, despite the guaranteed turnaround time, but promised to personally knockout the cut himself and have it back to me. So on the 12th, over a week since I dropped it off, I had enough. I called to get an update, was hung up on again. I called back and they told me no one had started working on it again. I had enough, I told him forget the cut, just install my sights I’ll be there to pick it up later in the afternoon. When I got there, he told me it would be about 10 minutes because the guy was finishing it up. I was livid! Not only did they do the opposite of what I told them, but they were rushing the work to squeeze out any dollar they could from me! This place sucks at customer service, I had no follow up or any calls keeping me informed, I was lied to, they rushed the work, and only started working on it after I threaten to pick it up. They are over priced, for example, a Glock 43 oem mag was $35, and have a bunch of associates who supposedly were “busy” just standing around doing nothing relevant. A gentleman I spoke with pretended to look up my invoice, walked to the back of the shop, and left me standing there! I was also overcharged for my sights by $20. Had I not caught it, they wouldn’t have even said anything about it! If I didn’t call and tell them I was coming to pick up my firearm, I’m 100% positive it would still be there to this day. Heed my warning, and stay away from this place! Their work isn’t even worth the prices they charge! I would recommend AA Tactical, as others have in the reviews. Customer service is actuallyimportant to them vs this shady spot of a business!

Spent yesterday at Southern Tactical Range where I ran into some of the Precision Tactical staff. They helped me through some rifle issues I had and we ended up back at their store in Crestview. They had everything I needed and their prices were great. I ended up leaving 2 guns for custom work.

Needed an FSB pinned to a pencil barrel for my latest AR-15 build. Nice people, nice work and fast turn around even with a holiday in the mix.

I got in on the BETTER THAN BLUE LABEL deal at Precision. I’m active duty Military and they offer free engraving and Cerakote on Glocks for all MIL, LEO and first responders if the pistol is purchased from them. Who does that?!?! So awesome. Thank you guys. I got my gun cerakoted here and love it! It took a a couple days longer than expected because stencil had to be ordered. The customer service I received from the owner was the best that there is. I work in retail and I know great customer service when I see it. He went above and beyond. It will definitely make me a repeat customer. We also have friends that do business here and they are happy also.

Had a good experience. JT helped me out at the counter; he is a knowledgeable professional. I was there to bring in my CZ PO-1 for service and cleaning. In the meantime, JT showed me a few handguns that I am interested for concealed carry. Their prices are reasonable, too.

Very pleased with the service I received at Precision Tactical in Crestview. I started using them during last year’s archery season. Today I brought in arrows to be cut, warped, fletched and inserted during my lunch brake and they were ready to pickup by 5 o’clock. Cam in the bow shop was great to deal with. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Over promised! Under delivered! And also late with delivery! Laser engravings were barely noticeable on one side of the slide and different depths on the engraving. Brand new pistol now has scratches once completed. This was a gift for a Navy CAPT., but now embarrassed to give it to him. Not worth the time off or gas spent from PC BEACH!!! Seriously look elsewhere!!!

Staff is very knowledgeable and scales there answers to the customers knowledge base. Always willing to help out with anything I need when Im home visiting family. For the average person they have a wide selection, for experienced competitors/ builders the selection was a bit slim on custom parts.

Doesnt know there product well, just read what was on the box. Got a light for my handgun turns out to not fit my holster.....no return policy and was not discussed prior to sale, only after I tried to return it 45 minutes later after driving home and back.... was the first time there and the last good thing I didnt buy any guns there.......update went shooting the first 4 shots and the professionally” installed Lazer light goes flying down range good thing I was at the range and not fighting for my live. This guys are crooks.... Stick with AAA its just a more minutes up the road.

Buyer Beware.Horrible Customer service/communication.Purchased a custom build .223 pistol platform for a decent cost; however, when it came time to plink some rounds the firearm would not cycle after discharge of the round. I had to manually charge the firearm for each round.Took the firearm back and they said they would fix it for free-after questioning me if I actually purchased the firearm from their facility.Even though there was no rush for repair, there was also no communication from their business with any updated information or details regarding the repairs. As the customer/consumer I had to initiate any communication. Over a three week period I had to call three times and show up in person twice obtain any information.Finally obtaining my AR back at a cost! There was no itemized print out of parts/repair noted. Rather than standing by their product and maintaining good customer service, they charged $50 bucks for ammo and range fee, ironically similar to the cost of a gas tube/block parts.BTW. local range cost 10 dollars. box of 20 round .223, 10 dollars.In the end the product was fixed, but the communication is horrible as is the customer service. Rather than doing right by the customer and standing by their product there was a charge (albeit a small cost, but still)I hope your experience is better than mine

Heard about them through a fellow shooter and decided to give them a try. Even though they were an hour away from my house, they gave me a deal on a suppressor. Did some awesome work on my Colt slide, cerakoted it and fitted a threaded barrel for me. Thats where the good stuff ends. Suppressor was supposed to be in my possession around 6-7 months from purchase (this is what I was told). Ended up taking 15 months to get my suppressor because they screwed up on the application for my tax stamp. Didnt bother keeping me updated about it either. I found out from an ATF agent who I got to investigate why it was taking so long. When I finally heard from the NFA branch that my tax stamp had finally been approved, I called Precision to schedule pickup and found out that over the 15 months they had my suppressor on their shelf with an order to cerakote it, they hadnt done it yet. So another day goes by and I finally pick it up only to find out that the shade if cerakote doesnt match my firearm. Needless to say, I finished up with them and wont shop there again. I recommend everyone who wants a suppressor, go somewhere else cause these guys will screw up the paperwork. Anything else, theyre ok.

Went in with a Bow issue and was fixed up in 5 minutes, great shop for anything gun or archery related!

They have had my slide for 3 months just to mill it out for a red dot. I had to send them an optic after 2 1/2 months when i called and asked what was taking so long. They said they didn’t have an optic to make sure it fit and never bothered to call and let me know just put it in the shelf. Here it is 3 months to the day and it hasn’t been machined or cerakoted. I shoot USPSA with a lot of people and it is the same story from everybody i talk to. I will not do business with them in the future and will discourage everyone from doing business with them. Customer service sucks i will update on quality if they ever finish.

Just bought a Sig Sauer from these guys. It was $100 less than anyone else in town. Not sure how customer service is but the guys there treated me with respect and didnt rush me. I was truly only shopping for price and if youre in the same boat as I am this is the place to go even cheaper van internet. If I have any issues with the customer service I will update my review but as of right now this is the place to go if you live near Crestview

Customer service is great and their custom shop does great work! Their lead times are a bit long but that is because they are the only shop in the area that does good reliable work, worth the wait!!

Love the cerakote work they did on my 1911 and my Baby Desert Eagle, only problem is that I had to leave it again because they forgot to put the red back on the safety switch. The cerakote work was reasonably priced and so are a lot of their products they carry in store. However their munitions and arms seem to be a bit on the high end. All of the people that I know love there work and products so we will see what happens down the line when I am ready to buy.

Good group of guys. I came in looking for a particular gun that not many folks keep in stock. They had the G34 for a great price and Ernie was very helpful. I purchased it and they were able to install all the goodies during the wait period. Ill be doing business with this company in the future.

Worst gun shop ever, they messed up the gas dimple on my AR barrel and thus, made my gas block crocked. Instead of sitting at the 12 o clock position it was sitting at the 1 o clock. It was visibly crooked and when I challenged the owner on his shotty work he got mad and kicked me out of his back room. He then would not give me back my barrel , Daniel Defense, and tried to intimidate me with my own barrel. After I told him STERNLY that his work was not up to standard he backed off. He then claimed he would replace the barrel if he couldnt fix it but stated that Daniel Defense does not make their own barrels so he could just replace it with anything and it would be just as good. Which is a lie. He ended up getting my barrel to the 12 ish o clock position and I left because he I didnt have time to deal with an arrogant man who tried to cheat me out of my money. They think they are the next Agency Arms or something similar. They are overpriced and do crappy work. Stay away. I hope the owner reads this because he will remember that confrontation and will know deep down inside that he is a bad business man and sells overpriced gear to people who dont know better.

As far as work on guns is fairly priced and did a good job on my glock 43 cerakoate. As far as firearm prices I WILL NEVER EVER BUY A FIREARM FROM THEM EVER! Same with Jays Guns. Jays guns charges full msrp. Precision Tactical charges an a ass bleed with no lube whatsoever. Example I just called about a Canik TP9SFX and they said $699.99 like WHAT?!?! I didnt ask if it came with a red dot or anything but the salesman didnt mention it on the phone. I can get one online from Grab a Gun for $449.00. So like I said dont buy a firearm here unless you want to be raped.

These guys took an old battered but beloved 1917 Enfield that belonged to my father in laws dad and completely restored it. The stock was hand made by a gentleman his dad knew who came to his property and fell the tree he transformed into a sporterized stock for the Enfield. You do not give a piece of family history like that to someone who is not known for anything but top notch work. The guys at P-Tac put the biggest smile on a guys face I have seen in the 30 years I have known him. Thank you guys, we could not be more thrilled with the absolute quality work you guys put into a family heirloom!!

Great gunsmith work. Jason is awesome.Beware the hours operation are 10am-7pmBut nobody is home. Place always seemed locked up. No one answers the phone. Repeated voice mails left , no return call. Made three trips up from Fort Walton to Crestview week of May 10th. Closed , no note on door. Even UPS has to leave a call card. Hell of a way to run a business. I got money to spend and nobody there wants it. I dont normally do there writ up , but frustrated.

Not a good choice, walked in no one says hello or ask if they can help. Could not find anything i wanted they have a extremely small collection of items, and most of the stuff thats custom looks like Nerf designed for kids..

Great customer service! You can have the best gunshop in town but if you have crappy customer service like AA Tactical where you have a 12 year old trying to sell you a rifle who isnt even old enough to own a rifle, then no one will want to come back. PT has a great selection and if they dont have it they will order it for you. This is my preferred firearms shop for crestview. This shop is also the one who puts on the gun competition for military and law enforcement. Now that really says something.

Stopped by to check out what they had. I was looking at the rifles that are displayed on the outer walls of the store. As I was walking and looking, I noticed a saiga or vepr 12 on the wall that apparently is right in front of the entrance to the back area, That has NO barrier door or sign to separate that area from the store. Well after I left, the guy I was with me said the salesman put his hand on his pistol as if getting ready to draw on me because I was near that entrance. Well they shouldnt have for sale items where you can walk up to look at close to whereve you dont want anyone to be near. So ill Never stop or recommend a place that employees someone so nervous or jumpy.

Having been recommended by a coworker I bought my carbine from Precision last summer. I was told the turnaround time was roughly 2 - 3 weeks. It ended up taking around 8 weeks.After receiving it I was told it had been test fired, and that it was good to go. Shortly after I took it to the range for the first time. When I started firing the weapon it immediately started having feed issues, even though it wasn’t dirty, had applied CLP and I tried three different types of magazines (PMAG, MILSPEC, and AMEND2) to rule out the magazine as the problem. It also wasn’t cycling rounds properly, and often wouldn’t fire even when utilizing the forward-assist, round chambered.In addition to the previously mentioned issues when I would lock the BCG to the rear, and then press the quick release button often the BCG went forward, but the extractor wouldn’t line up/seat properly into the star chamber (with no magazine loaded, which later I discovered was due to the warped gas tube not allowing the gas key to properly seat over the gas tube - more to follow). After my unsuccessful day at the range (I was able to fire maybe 12 rounds), I took it apart and inspected it. I noticed the gas key was damaged, and the gas tube was warped.The next day I took it back to Precision and showed them the problem. They said they would test fire it and inspect it. Roughly 2 weeks later when it was returned to me I saw the same warped gas tube was still in the weapon. When I asked why it wasn’t replaced I was told that wasn’t the issue, and that it had been fixed/test fired and was good to go. Having served almost 15 years active duty in the military I have never seen a gas tube that looked like that in a carbine, because an armorer would have replaced it (average a $15 part). Even still I decided to take them at their word and give it a go.I took it to the range last week. The issues had improved, but it were not fixed. The feed issue was the only issue that had been fixed, but it still didn’t cycling properly and several times didn’t fire with a round chambered as before. Instead of having continuous malfunctions. I had roughly 1 or 2 malfunctions every 30 rounds fired. I also had the same issue where the extractor often didn’t fit into the star chamber as before.I ended up taking my weapon to AA Tactical to have the gas tube and BCG replaced, as I didn’t trust Precision to fix it. They fixed it and the BCG now seats properly into the star chamber. I am really looking forward to shooting it this weekend.I would not recommend Precision to anyone. It might be an awesome looking store, but in my experience sub-standard customer service and quality assurance make it a no go for future business.

Excellent customer service and an awesome selection of quality name brand parts and accessories. Darron was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. This was a lot different from another gunshop I went to in town where the lady behind the counter was more interested in trashing the other shops in Crestview than taking my money. Im new to town and have found my gun shop.

While I believe they do quality work they are absolutely terrible at getting back to customers.I have attempted to contact PTAC for various builds on and off for a year. I have tried to email them, call them, and even publicly and privately messaged them on facebook.From what I have read on facebook and the other review on this page, I shouldnt even bother making the drive up to crestview because it would be a waste of gas.Should they ever actually contact me, I might change my review.

Bought a rifle for several thousand. The gun is what I wanted but took two months longer than they had said and are just awful about getting back to you keeping you updated. They really need to work on customer service

!!!I CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!What an awesome group of guys, friendly clean welcoming atmosphere, and very knowledgeable staff. I came in for some ammo and ended up finding a few more things I had to have. Purchased a rifle and started the paperwork on a suppressor. I waited about 20 minutes for a background check to clear but I was able to sit and watch College Football and drink a soda while I waited. Thank you for making me and my family feel so welcome.
