Watched a show called Anon(nymous). Edgy name, edgy execution. Nice way to spend two hours in Crawfordsville on any night really. The theater itself deserves a 5 star rating, top place; the play however, receives one rotten tomato from me. The acting was lacking from the main character and the play felt stuttery at times. The lines were poorly thought out and not very well practiced, at times becoming downright hilarious. Despite these drawbacks, some stellar performances were in the air this night as one Kevin Ballard-Munn lit up the stage with his virtuositic performance. It is disappointing because the past shows Ive seen at this theater have honestly felt professional.I do miss one cast member I had interacted with in previous shows at the Ball theater, one James Ridley. It felt like the shows with him included had a different air on the stage, there was a passion which I felt missing last night; but I digress.
