Great atmosphere and variety of food. Highly recommend the Shrimp and Chorizo appetizer and the Bam Burger and Onion Stack Burger for meal.

Went here for a Friday night dinner. Place got really busy but they handled it well. Food was very good and drinks were made to perfection. The dueling pianos was a nice touch. We will be back for sure

I get to eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I like how the customer service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept consistently. Rates are convenient and they serve large portions.

Went here on 1/21/20 to meet my boyfriend. We arrived at 3:30pm and the place was locked. I also called, no one answered. This was our first time trying the place and if hours of operation are listed it would be nice for them to follow. Needless to say very disappointed.

Absolutely horrendous. I have never reviewed a restaurant in my life but this deserves 5 minutes of my time. Waited over an hour for the food. Was told there was no bartender. An underage waiter was making the drinks and kept bringing out terrible drinks. When we explained kindly 2 times the drinks were horrible we were informed they didn’t know when a bartender would be on site as people keep quitting. Makes perfect sense. The manager looks clueless. They had the nerve to issue us a full bill. We had to cause a scene to get a discount.

I would give 0 if i could. When i left (after sitting at the bar and being ignored by the bartender) i asked the bouncer if the bar was closed or about to close. To my surprise he said no. No reason for me to go back. Check out Crossroads in Garwood for a welcoming fun time.

Mother’s Day and therefore they were busy. We waited an hour and a half for our food. Everyone their was waiting forever for their food. I ordered their burger medium and it basically was a hockey puck. The servers were very kind and gave us a few free drinks but we would not recommend. Management needs to get it together. They would have been better served with a buffet on special days.

We went on Sunday 5/19 for lunch at 1:30pm. There were 3 tables when we got there, approx 7 people total in this place. We wanted a chicken cheesesteak and another sandwich however they didn’t have any as they were out of bread?! We settled for a burger that was way too over cooked (we asked for medium) and it was also wrong (we asked no onions and sweet pot fries-got onions and French fries). The other tables around us also said there were not happy as they too had to wait over an hour for their food.Edit: the food took over an hour to come out (again, with 3 tables total) for a dry over cooked burger.

This is such a cozy bar. It has a classy ambience. They served great food that could really satisfy your taste buds. They have discounts that you could enjoy of. A really great place to unwind and enjoy your drinks.

I love Bar Americana! The menu is fun and tasty and they always have interesting drink specials. I usually go there for a meal and drinks. Just going to the bar seems for the much younger crowd, but love the outside area in warm weather. I have been here 5 times and will be back!!!

Two years ago this place was good with food and bands but has gotten worse every time I go back. Went three weeks ago and will not go back again. Their “spicy margarita” says fresh jalapeños on the menu and comes with pickled jalapeños in it instead. We ordered chicken tacos and they tasted like fish. We sent them back but I thought I was going to throw up the rest of the night. Service has never been good at this place either. Too bad because it has potential.

While I was visiting my nephew in New Jersey, he insisted on taking me to Bar Americana for lunch. I have to say that I am so glad he did, the burgers are amazing! I ordered the Americana burger and it was beyond my expectations. I have to also add in here that the service was great and to me, that is an important factor. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is living there or just visiting, I am ready to go back.

This is an extremely nice place to visit to have a delicious meal in a festive atmosphere. Not only that, but they host different events on certain days thats accompanied by some really good music, and you can enjoy a good drink while catching your game on one of the many TVs that they have in the place. I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking to have fun, socialize, and get their belly full!

I work and live locally and therefore have visited this restaurant on numerous occasions. While service is mediocre at best, the ambiance really helps looking past any long wait times for drinks/food. The outside patio is adorable and I appreciate the seating arrangements.I visited Bar Americana this week and ended up sick. I had others in my party who were also ill. Nothing serious - just some gastrointestinal issues which I usually would just chaulk up to alcohol and food that is regularly outside of my diet. Im disappointed and likely wont revisit.

Due to its relatively convenient location while on vacation searching for a place to eat out on a Saturday night and came across this spot. Wasnt disappointed! Service was great, place was chill and nicely decorated. It was busy, but service still seemed to be on point with very little wait. Food was good, and they have a decent selection of beer/drinks. We were there until around 10-11P and by the time we left, they seemed to be clearing out tables to turn the joint into club with a dance floor. I enjoyed it and will be returning, perhaps to stay a little later as well.

A schoolmate and I came here for lunch last month. Shed been gushing about it for a few months, so I wanted to try it. Really cool atmosphere, and the food was great(I recommend the Onion Tower Burger). But the must try is the Titos Peach Tea. Fantastic spot!

The outdoor patio had a nice airy feel about it, but that is it. The food and service was horrible. If you have a food allergy, do not even take a chance. Prior to attending a birthday celebration at this place, we called ahead to see if they could accommodate our gluten allergy. On the phone they said yes, but when we got there and ask the waiter about gluten free items, he told us that we shouldnt take a chance. So what is, do you have gluten free items? Or not?

The bar offers food and has indoor and outdoor seating with tables. Food is average in taste. They dont have a dedicated parking lot but a city metered parking lot is right next to this establishment.

Everything I tasted on the menu thus far is amazing. All the right spices in all the right places. Oh That Salmon! Love the calamari ( my favorite appetizer) Bar tenders attended to us right away and were very friendly. Owner is friendly and attentive. Looks like he really got his heart and soul in his business.

New & trendy bar/restaurant with outdoor seating in downtown Cranford. Parking is a little sparse at the exact location but there is metered parking all around. The service was excellent and the cocktails we had on our last visit were above average. The food was good, but the prices were a tad on the high side (although not prohibitively). There was live music, and to be honest that was the highlight of the visit as the (one man) musician was fantastic. Bar Americana has a cool vibe and Id definitely recommend it.

Food was spectacular. Came here for lunch.... Great cozy place.... Heather was very helpful and provided very useful information on the local happenings, i.e., the Transit work. Definitely a thumbs up all the way.

The bartenders provide quick service..... only if your a guy. Waited for drinks only to be told to wait a minute, she then proceeded to take a drink order of a guy that had just walked up to the bar. Then when your finally able to get a drink, its tastes horrible. Never going back.

Not a fan of this place. To catch a quick beer is cool. The margaritas arent the greatest. And the non of the food stood out enough for me to want to try it. The chips and salsa was good though.

Threw a bridal shower her in early June, originally loved the place loved the manager. Next time we went there was a new manager and the complications began.Poor customer service I heard so many complaints about food guest waited 1 hour for eggs and pancakes. Pancakes were served with honey and when asked about syrup they brought it put 40 mins later and pancakes were cold. Eggs over easy had egg shells not just w or 3 pieces it was all in there they were inedible.This was just the food. This doesnt include the rudeness we felt with before the shower started the manager went back on his word and made things run anything but smooth. He completely disregarded our contractWhen I called to speak to the manager the New manager (the 3rd manager i the past 4 months) tried to handle it to the best of his ability. But I feel as if the owner should of stepped in and taken responsibility and been more attentive and understanding of the situation. The manager offered a $100 gift card or for a meal on them for our family then proceeds to ask well how many people are in your family ? Not slot rite ? The shower was beautiful regardless but the poor communication and disregard of the contract along with the poor food quality and customer service put a bit of a damper.I have high hopes for this restaurant but they have allot of work to do !

I had a horrible experience at this location my food sucked sucked horrible greasy over cooked fries my burger was dry and the total for my meal was 1370 the food suck the managers attitudes sucked I would never ever ever ever eat here again and I suggest that if your looking for a meal this is not the location horrible food horrible attitude from the manager equals money wasted I will never visit or suggest to anyone who wants a good male visit this location if the bus didnt break down I would have eaten else with but due to the train activity I saw a spot to eat but I wish I never even in that horrible horrible horrible restaurant horrible if I can give a negative star what and to the manager you suck worse than the food

I was visiting in New Jersey with family members of mines and they took me to this restaurant while visiting. Being that Ive never heard of it before and that is was my first time there, I must that it is an excellent restaurant. They have a bar area for the people that drinks alcohol beverages. The food there was great as well and is very inexpensive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

I asked for a water and instead of getting me a water the bartenders co-worker decided it was more important that she stand on the bar and pour whiskey straight into peoples mouths. That was very unprofessional. Also there are only two bathrooms in the whole place.

I live 5 minutes away, but this is my first but definitely not last visit. My wife had filet of sole piccata and i the flank steak. Both were delicious. Service was excellent, and the price very reasonable. We will definitely be back often. We had reservations at 7, and left around 10:30. As we were leaving some musicians were setting up, so the night there can continue.

Well lets start off by saying the food was just okay. My wife had a black and blue burger that was a premade beef patty with no flavor, blue cheese dressing, and the fries tasted like pure greese. It was bland! Then were sitting there and cigarette smoke starts hitting us in the face. How classless. Then another group of kids sit at the table directly next to us with a bucket of Budweisers and a pack of Newports smoking away. So you just lost a couple thats spending $100 average to kids buying $15 buckets of Bud cause well never go back. I must say that the staff was very nice and completely agreed about the atmosphere, but had no control over the horrible smoke. Imagine having to work in a cloud of smoke for 8 hrs. Thats crazy! No one should be smoking around food. Horrible!

Great food and service!I went there with my coworkers for Christmas celebration, we requested the private room. And Ramon did everything he could to accommodate us!We ordered a bunch of appetizers, they were really good, my favorite was the bang bang shrimp and calamari with sriracha lime aioli sauce, it was so good we had to order more of those. For dinner most of us had the skirt steak and the ribeye they had on special. The skirt steak was big and flavorful. Some of my friends who had the ribeye steak said it was great! Then for dessert we had the tres leches and chocolate lava cake, they were sweet and delicious! Then we did a little dancing, they let us play the music that we like.Overall experience was great! we felt like home!Thank you Ramon for making our Christmas celebration wonderful!

I stopped by one day after work with a friend. We had a few appetizers. My favorite was the lobster mac and cheese. The staff made its feel at home. .. the foods was fresh. .. I would try this place again.

We are here while on vacation and it was great! I wasn’t super hungry so I just ordered the nachos, but they were so good I ended up eating almost the whole plate! None of us had enough left to take with us because we all devoured our meal, and we typically don’t eat that much. We also tried the pretzels and it was soooo good, just make sure you use the dips they give you because it completes the ensemble! Our server was obviously very knowledgeable about the menu and helped my brother decide what he was going to get. You’d expect it to take a while to get out the food because they were so busy but it came out in less than 10 minutes! This was just an overall great experience and we’ll definitely be coming back whenever we’re in the area!!

My boyfriend and I went in on a late Saturday afternoon and we were practically the only ones in there... this should have been our first clue. The waiter was very nice however he took our order completely wrong. We ordered the bacon on a stick, bbq wings, and burger sliders from the appetizer menu. The wings had buffalo sauce on them and were over cooked. They were clearly frozen wings. Carrots and celery on the plate werent even fresh. Had a fermented smell and taste. The bacon had more fat than meat. I mean I know bacon is fatty but my god I couldnt even cut into with a steak knife. And dont get me started on the sliders. Frozen thin patty. Fake yellow cheese and nasty onions and sauce on top. Wouldnt feed that to my dog. And I ordered a classic margarita and got sangria. They got the order of Coca-Cola right thankfully. And mainly there were 10+ plus staff members there and only four customers total. Waste of resources. HORRIBLE.

Nice place good food. Drinks where not how we like the Moscow mule was to sour, and the cava sangria was horrible. , I did like the Mojito though. The Lobster Mac n Cheese. crispy Calimari and Buffalo Wings were good. The Fish Tacos were good as well, but I dont like Corn Tortillas. These would taste much better with a flour tortillas. The atmosphere is nice. Service was a little slow I think there was only one server, and he had many people. dont blame him ! some quirks, but we like the place.Well be back to try other things on the menu.Its a 14 minute drive for us so were happy about a good place close by.
