There was lots of space to social distance and lots to do. Camping, boating, swimming and fishing. We will be back.

Not a ton of shade at a place that is pretty damn hot. Newer campground, clean and not bad for a stop over. Wouldn’t stay more than 1 night.

We are tent campers. The Pronghorn campground is beautiful and very well maintained, kudos to the very kind and friendly camp hosts. The views of the reservoir are stunning. Each site comes with a shelter over the picnic table, power and there are plenty of clean toilets around the camp. For tent campers, Ill say this is an exposed and very windy campsite. The rangers told us there was a wind vortex in the basin and we sure did feel it.

New campgrounds in great condition.Concrete pads for disabled campers otherwise mostly level RV dirt pads. Each has a fire ring, a large, tent pad and covered picnic tables. The picnic table shelters in Pronghorn will support a hammock. Vault toilets only.Bears-ears has no hook ups.Pronghorn has 50/30/20 amp electric service.Cellular service is weak to none. I was unable to get a TV or good radio signal in the campground. Both campgrounds are close to the water. There are no trees.

The rangers and park manager are completely inconsistent with the rules. One ranger tells me my dogs can play fetch and swim off leash and another tells me hell give me a ticket, then the park manager says there are times when they let dogs swim off leash and other times not.... so I guess just dont listen to any of them because none of them know what they are talking about.

Brand new campground with covered shelters on each site to beat the heat. Plenty of hiking/ biking trails to explore. Lake is good for swimming and there is a beach.

$7 for a daily pass and $18 to camp there. You can reserve camping spots or show up and hope there are spots open. Camping spot have fire pits which can be used during a fire ban. Not a great lake for canoeing but ok. No water at the camp site. Just a bathroom.
