Beautiful park, full of life. Enjoyed a walk here and some meditation time. Gorgeous place to check out. This park was used to film several episodes of the Vampire Diaries too!

Found this based on a Google recommended notification. Its a small Park near my house that I never knew existed. Big metal slide like when I was a kid. Small duck pond. Simple for kids to play and benches under the shade. Kids loved it. Will visit again.

Great family place for all ages. Place where all ages can go back to being a kid. Just let yourself go.

My wife and I took our kids here to play slide take pictures walk the trail around the pond went through the butterflies garden it was pretty amazing how peaceful that place is brings the best out of everyone.

This park is a wonderful place for lunch. It was very clean and there is a nice lake.

Decent park with plenty of shade and picnic tables to sit at. Just wish they would clean up the watered area. Its just standing water and gets pretty nasty. Didnt notice many mosquitos though.

Hometown favorite I remember going there as a kid. Its changed ALOT but its still the park and the swings are awesome!! The ducks are quite friendly they walked right up to us

This park is absolutely beautiful. Clean and kept up. Its perfect for walking around or photos. There are several picnic tables. I love it.

I used to love this place as a kid but now its sad looking at everything growed over, it USED TO BE so beautiful...

Clean and had more to do than just swing or slide

This is a great park to take your kids. The playground seems to be geared towards 2- 13 year old kids. It has a building you can use for birthday parties are family get togethers. The area has plenty of trees for shade on hot days.

Beautiful & Nice Trails

This Park is in a very up scale neighborhood. Its very well maintained. It has 2 ponds. The smaller upper pond runs over beautiful rocks into the larger pond. There are picnic tables around the ponds . There is a beautiful Butterfly Garden that you can though and enjoy the all the beautiful flowers and butterflies. There are no grills to cook out so dont even think about that . Adults have to stay with their kids at all times . This park is very small and the homes are right at the edge of the park. And the police station is about a half a block from the park. Rules of the park are posted and they most be followed at all times . This park is really not for the public.

Always beautiful the park is kept clean at all times was a little cold and windy but I enjoyed my lunch with my husband that day

Always a fun park. Usually clean and well maintained.

Lots to do, but dont come here if you dont like porta potties cause the restrooms are pretty much always locked. We always make sure to have a potty break before going.

Good local park to take small children to play and even a picnic if you like.

1/2 the park is well kept, other 1/2 is overgrown and sad looking

Great place to go for parties and family get togethers. Also has a playground and pond thats a bonus! I have been going to this park for 30 years. Love the peace and quiet of this place.

This is where I go to meditate this is a very Tranquil Park, the only problem is I have to drive to get there. Very up scale.

The park was extremely clean. The equipment,that the children were playing on,was clean and well maintained.The county does an excellent job of using the inmates of Newton county detention center,to keep the park in the shape that it is in!!

Love this little park. Its a great place to bring the little kids to play or just to walk around. Lions Club building is available for small events.

This is a beautiful and peaceful place for a picnic, walk in the park and/or a place for the kids to play on the playground.

Kid friendly and adults love it also for the pond and waterfall bridge, beautiful scenery for all types of puctures, and even weddings, family get togethers , and all sorts of events.

Quiet & quaint little park. People need to pick up after themselves more. Beware going alone though. Sketchy as it gets darker.

Very lovely park located at a former all-boys school from the 1800s. Nice place for kids to play. Only downfall is no restroom facilities.

The only downfall f this park is the restroom. The park is always moderately clean depending on the current people using it (i.e. people not picking up after themselves), but there is only a portable bathroom available. The public restrooms are never unlocked.

Nice park. Took the kids there and they had a great time. Clean and lots of options for kids to do. Slide, swing, and a really neat sandbox.

Its a lovely little park that open all the time. Lots of places for rhe kids, has wonderful swing sets, amoung other things. And many places for the adults to just sit and read if they feel like. Right next to a lovely water scene, and the lily pads were a wonderful touch. They are in bloom and it makes my heart sing to see that old park look so good.

This is a place I played as a child and I bring my children to play. Just lovely.

Recent replacement of most playground equipment. Most everything is neat and tidy, just make sure you use the restroom before you go and dont go anywhere near the porter potty.

A nice park with a decent playground area. Word to the wise, if you try to walk across the stone waterfall for, lets say, a picture, dont wear sandals. The biofilm is thicker than you think. Not a fan of poorly maintained porta potties.

It was great it was awesome peaceful and I wouldnt change anything about that day for anything or any reason

Wife is a Vampire diary’s fan and they film multiple shows and scenes at this location. Plenty of spots on a 4-5 hour tour around town with a local fan club. Stop by the mystic grill before leaving!

We had a birthday party outside here and was perfectly wonderful. the only thing is if you dont reserve the inside they only have an out house for outside

Great new playground and swings! Lovely butterfly garden. However, big Kids are already taking over new baby swings and ruining the total experience by running over the little ones. Also really wish there were restrooms available besides the nasty Porta potty
