This is a course I would NOT recommend. Although the course was in fairly good shape and the greens being even better, the service from management in the pro shop and the grill was deplorable. First the assistant in the pro shop was rude and ignored me when I was trying to check in (he was talking to another employee and didnt even acknowledge me for almost 5 min). Then when he did check me in seemed very uninterested in answering a few questions I had about the course because I hadnt played there in over 5 years.But the grill took the cake. I purchased a bottle coke and Gatorade to go along with my breakfast sandwich (a whole nother story). I also asked for a cup of ice so I could put the coke in later. They said We have a NO ice policy since we serve our drinks cold!. Huh, I didnt understand. They told me they dont give out ice. Again, I was thoroughly confused. The GM came in and explained that they dont give out ice because some patrons bring their own drinks an more importantly ALCOHOL and just come and get ice and dont buy from the club. How does this make sense or relate to me when I just purchased, 2 drinks and a sandwich I asked. The GM rudely stated thats just their policy and I could get a refund if I didnt like it!!!Enough said.Dont ever play here if you value your dollar, good customer service and policy that makes sense.

Just a fantastic track in every respect. Im finally getting a better feel for these quick greens. I love playing here. Its one of my favorite golf courses in Atlanta.

This was an very beautiful, well maintained course, with challenging holes for all levels of play. The greens were fast but gave a true read. The staff were helpful and attentive. We will be going back.

Course is in great condition. Greens are true and fast. True test must golf your ball.

This course is about 20 miles east of Atlanta, but well worth the drive. The greens are ALWAYS in great shape!

We enjoyed a round of golf at Ashton Hills! The course is very challenging, the environment is very pretty, fairway is nicely kept, the green is superb! It definitely was worth the drive to play here. Pro shop staffs here are also very nice. If there is one thing to improve, some tee box isn’t at it’s best shape. Looking forward to play here again, what a fun course to play.

Played here on April 27, 2020 and if your looking for a fun layout but challenging quick greens, this is the place to tee it up. Everyone here in the clubhouse friendly and courteous. I have been playing a long time, and have never putted on greens as fast as these. If you can putt on these greens, you can play anywhere! I’ll be back to see if I learned anything

Met for lunch and ate outside, grounds keeper cut grass beside us the entire time. Dust constantly blowing on us and the food.

I love playing this course. It is always in great shape. Greens are quick and true. Fairways are beautiful. Fantastic food at the Village Grill is a huge bonus.

This is an excellent place to play a round. The weekend price was around $45, which is a great value for this course. The clubhouse facilities were nice and very clean. The driving range was fairly priced and was in good shape. The greens are in pristine condition and are incredibly fast. The layout was very challenging. The greens are very well protecting by elevation, undulations, bunkers, and water. Its definitely an iron players course. The front nine poses the most difficulty for the scorecard, though there are a few holes that can be attacked. The back nine holes give you the opportunity for a more glorious finish, so the total score is not a total loss at the turn. There are plenty of neat scoring holes on the back.

Enjoyable course

Of the 8 other courses I played within 40 miles of this course, There is no comparison because the quality of this course is so much better I cant think of a word that adequately conveys how much better it truly is. I literally had to find the crew that maintains this course just so I could personally Thank them, and Im not exaggerating. If youre tired of hard fairways and greens that are like putting on rough cement then Ashton Hills is absolutely where you should go next time and Im almost certain it will become your new home course as well, regardless of where you live.

Course is in decent shape. Greens are in excellent shape. Dont expect to be greeted with a smile and hello because you wont get one. The course is usually well priced and fairways and greens always maintained. Rough area needs work. Overall the course is one of the better ones around

The fairways and greens are in some of the best shape around. But the rough and around the car paths are ridiculous, bare roots mud and dirt are plentiful. Also the staff or should I say the one guy that was there was just as a matter of fact. On the phone more than taking care of biz! Thats the reason for only 3 stars. It could easily be a 5 star course!

The servers are the best. When I want to eat something home cooked and original I come to the Village Grille. Good food & good atmosphere.

After all of the recent rain the course is so green. The fairways, greens, and tee boxes look great. The price was great too. Used Golf Now.

The course was nice and we were enjoying our day until the 14th hole when the overzealous marshall (Richard) approached our group and accused us of tearing up the greens. Claimed he received a complaint from members and he deduced it was our group doing the damage. What damage??....I dont know. You guys are tearing up the greens was his claim. Richard then proceeded to follow us for the next 3 holes, hiding away in the rough, checking the greens after we played.Being black in America, this unnecessary treatment isnt unfamiliar, but its always uncomfortable nonetheless. We asked Richard why he assumed it was our group; he couldnt provide a legitimate answer. Richards attitude during this intrusion was disgusting and matter of fact. Issuing no proof or apology, other than a I have a right to do this when we confronted him again as to why were being followed. He took off for the club house at the 17th hole. I assume he retreated to get his story straight knowing we were close to finishing and undoubtedly will be in to alert management.We returned to the clubhouse to speak to management, but the employees claimed no managers are available...how convenient.Richard ruined what otherwise was an enjoyable course to play. Maybe this treatment is typical towards non-members; I dont know. We still intend to speak with management/ownership to make sure this type of treatment doesnt go unnoticed and at the very least never repeated.Ive played golf for years and never experienced anything like this, and hope it never occurs again. Fortunately Georgia has many beautiful golf courses to choose from. This was my first and last time ever playing at Aston Hills.

One of the best best golf courses Ive played on, I like it so much I bought a home on it cant complain about it at all, friendly staff and very knowledgeable at the same time, great place to meet fellow golfers and exchange ideas and techniques..

Its a tight track, great greens and nice bunkers too!! Grounds crew looked like they care about doing a great job!!Shoot for pins!!!
