MONEY TALKS NOT YOUR WORD! We, My son, his friend and myself, have an upcoming fishing tournament. I made a special trip to talk about an RV they were renting out. I gave my information and asked if I needed a deposit but would let them know by Sunday close 7:00. They took my information and told me that would be fine. We were excited about coming out but when I called the young lady told me they took a deposit right after we left and gave it to someone else. I wish they would have called or did what they said I could do. I know 1 person is not going to hurt but I will never use them not even for a snack off the lake. I guess money speaks louder than ones word!

Beautiful spot with very friendly staff. I travel a lot and I felt safe and secure in the camping area. Cameras are located around the park for extra security. John the owner was very helpful throughout my stay. Great hamburgers! Ill stay again if I am in the area.

Nice, quiet atmosphere. Some picnic tables, bank fishing, boat ramp, small store/cafe on site. Playground for kids. $5/pp day use and tent and RV sites.

We went there to rent kayaks and canoes. We had a blast the staff was great and very helpful I highly recommend them if your looking to rent row boats they fitted us well with life jackets and helped us in and out of the boats and even gave us a break on the return time I will be going back there again.

Nice and quite out here,my surrounding ar this RV park is nice and fair . Prices are fair. I love it out here. They have a store for your fishing..a boat ramp. Area doe your family to swim. So quite out here....

If you are looking for a place to park your RV and nothing else. Then this maybe the place. As far as the marina and store. The minnows that we purchased twice from this place were dead. The food prices are unrealistic. 7.50 for a six pack of soda? When then sun went down the party people came out. We got cursed for coming in from the waters with the lights on. Definitely not my kind of place to bring family.

Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone that has kids. This is basically a trailer park retirement home. 95% of the people live here year around. If there is an issue with anything the owner John will knock on everyone’s door at 7am not caring if anyone is still asleep or not. The only camping spots for people that do not live here year around are up against a fishing area which reeks of dead fish. The camping spots are 100% gravel with no shade trees. People are up all hours of the night walking through the camping spots. The only positive experience is Ricky that’s works here. He went out of the way to try and make things better but him caring a gun around while he’s drunk probably isn’t a good decision. Steer clear of this place!!!!

Arrived early evening for a 1 night stopover, just in time to see the sunset. Beautiful. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the lake. Manager is efficient, knowledgeable. Grill smelled delicious, and nice little convenience store on sight. If I go through Corsicana again, would stay there for more than one night!

A good place to be with family relaxing this takes stress out of worries excellent I recommend it

Super nice RV Park. Owners and employees are incredibly nice! Hamburgers from the grill are amazing!! Be out on the pier and have your camera ready for sunsets. The sky is breathtaking when it reflects off the lake!!

10 bucks per day to launch a boat!? Won’t be back!

Sunset cove is the perfect name for this RV park. I have seen the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen! The owners and Manager have been the nicest people and so good to us. It’s quiet here and clean ! We can walk out of our door and be on the pier fishing in less than a minute!! I work at the store/bait shop/grill part time and they cook the best mushroom burger I have ever ate!! I finally feel at home!!!!

It is the best I have Been! The owners and manager are great people and very helpful. The stores/,grill/bait shop make it so nice. I’m going paddle boating next weekend! It’s clean and quiet! The laundry room is nice! We have seen some very bad ones. But we found our permanent residence right here!!

Ive been twice, friendly people and reasonable prices.

Good folks. Good selection of snacks, ice, bait, tackle, can rent paddleboards and canoes. Ramp is plenty big and easy to launch. Truck and trailer watched over so no risky business while out on water.

Nice steep boat ramp for easy launching. Watch the sand bar extending about 50 ft out froom the beach on the left as you leave the marina. Nice set up, well stocked store.

We had the worst camping experience ever at this location. We went to pull our vehicle to the camping location to load our belongings. The owner came down cussing at us with young children present. My husband asked him to please stop and the male owner said he didn’t care that our children were there. He threatened us with physical violence repeatedly. He initiated all threats. He could have just calmly asked us to move our vehicle. When I went to get our refund for the second night stay he continued to berate me. This man is extremely rude and violent. We will NEVER return to this location. We STRONGLY do not recommend this location.

A very Nice Place right on the lake! lots of picnic tables, a swimming area places in the shade and a wonderful friendly staff to meet and greet you! They have a fully stocked store plus a cafe getting ready to open.

Our favorite place to put our boat in & grab what we need for the lake. Closest quick access from DFW. Salt of the earth folks. Beautiful view to the north. Calm protected access even in bad weather. Great Sandwiches! Great company!

This place is absolutely adorable and the people are the sweetest! The woman who works in the office is one of the nicest weve dealt with and the owners have been more than helpful in any situation. We are full timers who move often for my husbands job so weve seen the good, the bad, the ugly, and the downright scary. Our 42 5th wheel had no problem fitting and the kids have loved being right on the lake. Great spot for getting away from it all!

This place at once was nice the owner is a gun pulling mad man i have seen him threaten women with their children watching and curse at people for getting a tire on a spot of grass. Told my 5 year old to stop skipping rocks in the lake.Beware of this place

I went back and forth and how I felt about this place. The owners seem to be nice. The man went out of his way to meet me because I expressed my feelings about the reviews. Over all really see no big problem with the owners. But the reason for my review is over the manager. She is seems to be the problem here. Very sneaky,two faced and she is not the answer to the owners problem. Example when I say whos vechicle is that parked under my fifth wheel she said. I guess the neighbors wife. Is it bothering you lol no chic but you like to enforce the rules and make sum up as you go. Thats what I really wanted to say. But I was nice and said no worries I will talk to him myself. No worries about if we have emergency or anything. So follow her rules and her rules only... I dont think so Manager you are a bitter old lady step it up or step down. Oh and dont over charge people when they decide to leave. And that was her again get a new manager I will take down my post. And lady quit asking for reviews.

I would not stay at this camp ground if it was the only safe place left on Earth. The Owner of this establishment is a hot tempered hardhead, if for any reason a camper breaks a rule or is standing near a cigarette butte thats on the ground he can go off on anyone in a minute. Hes the last person you want to see walking around with a loaded pistol. Take my word, avoid the strife when you go camping and dont stay there.

Whent there to get bait and as we were leaving pulled over to there restroom and the owner came out there cussing out my dad and trying to fight him for parking with his front tire on a tiny patch of grass, would not recommend going here!

The administrator was very disrespectful, not good attention, and you cant be comfortable in that place.
