Had a good time last weekend. They had some rules this weekend that they apparently didn’t enforce last weekend. Kids didn’t have fun this weekend so neither did they parents. Had to bail early and forfeit our entry fee. They blamed it on liability but it was nonsense.
My son(9) and I went to sk8land with a birthday party (i was a guest), and it was fun. There is plenty of room and everyone is so nice. From the first staff member at the door, the renters, the dj and all the other staff were helpful and happy. My son has never been skating before and was scared. They have a designated Beginners Area marked off with cones and a walker you can rent for 3$ an hour which made it easier for him to learn, have fun and be safe. He had a blast and wants to go back soon. The have a wide selection of skates and the concession looks good. My kids and I will definitely go back.

Wow! What a great place to take your family and friends. We traveled from San Antonio to skate and found Michael and Victoria Ruiz who own Sk8LAND awesome people. The Ruiz family run a very welcoming establishment. They welcomed us and made us feel at home. We highly recommend Sk8LAND to all our friends and Locals. Came on a Saturday night and boy was I blown away! The staff, atmosphere, and prices were amazing. If you’re looking for a grippy and well maintained floor I highly recommend this place. Got a chance to speak with the owner and it was nothing but kind words and great hospitality. Even though I’m out of town you guys better believe I will always come back to sk8 land.
Today was my first time coming here and it was an awesome experience!!!! I loved the music that was played, appropriate music for fun family time! They enforced the rules in a friendly manner to keep everyone safe! Safety first! Would come back again and I highly recommend bringing the whole family here!

It is fun. i come every friday but some of the staff are rude and non cooperative. bad service.
So fun had not been skating in a long time. Forget the excitement it brings to family fun. This is just good old times and fun. My little one needed the help of the walker several small children there so they didnt have enough of them to accommodate all the kids.
This was one of the funniest place me and my friend had a great time and the food is so good and the drinks/ even the music I loved it

Owners should be embarrassed of the the condition of both the interior and exterior of this building. Restrooms are third world class. Super ghetto... youve been warned.

Dis place is absolutely amazing it’s a little cramped but the actual place where you skate is perfect.its got extra challenges every hour to make it fun and gosh it’s just really great and I totally recommend it
Attended a party here and they wanted to charge $13 for my other kids who werent skating. When I asked why, they said, this is not a place for spectators. Only parents can be spectators. Your other option for the other kids is they can leave the party. If I could, I would give zero star rating.
If zero was an option thats what I wouldve given this place. Disgusting restrooms. New unnecessary rules every time we visit. My little cousin had a sad day at his own birthday party. He didnt even want to ride the big skate.

Blake was amazing!! He was so nice and he answered whatever questions I had with a smile! The DJ was also nice and played my request, which I really appreciated. The no backwards rule is a bit ridiculous and I didnt appreciate slipping on drops of water coming from the ceiling, but I had a great time other than that.
I was there last Sunday just want to thank the employees in helping my wife after hitting her head. God bless everyone that helped and prayed

Nice place always have kids parties here, but staff always looks upset and dont smile. Youd think theyd enjoy getting paid to work in a skate rink.
I grew up going here back in the 90s and loved it. Now I take my kids here. Its an awesome and clean environment. Im happy to make family memories at sk8land.
It was very enjoyable and the staff were super nice and fun. I liked that they had an area for new skaters, definitely enjoyed my time there.

It was cool but they arent really too concern with injuries of the little kids and its concerning.
If I didnt have to I wouldnt give this place a 1. My 4 years old didnt know how to skate and she came up to me at a birthday party yelling at me that my son needs to take of the skates before he breaks them
We recently had our 4-year-old & 7 year-olds birthday party at Skateland and it was a hit! Michael, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly. He made our celebration seamless and fun. My kids said it was the best party ever and all their friends had a great time. They felt special riding in the big red skate and taking a picture with their friends all around. It brought back many fun memories. Im glad my kids get to experience Skateland as I did when I was a kid. We personally had a wonderful experience. Well be back soon! Highly recommend!
This place a dump. Classless management and their responses speak for themselves. Ghetto and 2 thumbs down. Id rather spend my money at a dog show.

Love this place!!! Very cost efficient
The staff is so awesome & love the retro interior. I live an hour away and totally worth the drive. They have a good selection of food/drinks and music. Large skating rink with an area to practice in, definitely a plus. They keep their customers very well entertained with games, contests and etc.All in all, just a great place to be for all ages.

This owner seems to truly care about the kids, I dont think he is getting rich of the backs hard working people! I have been several times and will continue to support this rink, my kids love it! Also he has a Halloween event that is simply the best I have ever seen!I applaud the owner for everything they are doing for kids!

My friend had her sons bday party there, and not only was the staff rude, but the actual owner was rude to my friends son!!! hes like 6yrs old!! i will never go there again and support them in any way, just giving other parents a heads up. there are other skating places, try those!!!! trashy, trashy place with very rude staff!!!!

Love it , brings me back to my childhood , my kids live it . The parking lot really needs to be fixed its so awful but inside is great.
So the staff was nothing special from what I can tell aside from Blake, one of the skate guards. It’s not their fault by the rink looks like it’s in disrepair with water leaking from the ceiling and a tiny floor. Blake was very nice but I had no interactions with the others and there are some very stupid rules such as no going backwards (I have worked at a roller rink for the past 5 years and have never heard of one like that.) I’ve only been one other time as I live in Austin and the first time i got yelled at for spinning around someone who cut me off and the same person (an employee) did it again and rather than spinning around them I rolled on my shoulder and have a massive scar to this day. (This happened about a year and a half ago.) once again I do not blame the employees but rather the owners for clearly not putting enough TLC into the rink. Personally there is a skate park near the beach that I would suggest you go to instead or even drive a few hours to go to one of the many rinks in Austin.

It was my granddaughters16th birthday and she had a 80s theme, and REALLY had a good time. They honored HER and then everyone continued to skate. I did put on a pair of skates for the 1st time in OVER 50 years and quickly determined that skating has become a spectators sport FOR ME.......just to give you an idea how long ago that was, I used to skate off SPID @ a place called City Skate....talk about a blast from the past, that was in the late 50s early 60s.
Love it!! I used to go every Friday because it is such a blast. If youre looking for a fun time just go to skateland!! Its amazing and the staff is very friendly.
Its soooo much fun I always go with my big brother and I love it there I even wanted to go on my birthday but I dont think it was open Ive been to only two skate rinks in my life but I definitely prefer sk8land I love how they have a beginner lane cuz I needed it at first and it helped cuz I didnt get swormed by skaters

My kids enjoy birthday parties held here. But not so much Friday night skate night. There were a lot of older kids and some mean kids there too. My kids went 1 time and dont want to go back

This place was horrible. The clurly hair manager was by far the rudest person ever. There’s a way to speak to people and she definitely doesn’t know how to speak to people, especially kids. I personally heard her be very rude to two kids that I have no idea who they were, but I felt bad for the kids they answered her nicely and she was still very rude.

Sad to say I have to be sitting on the floor waiting for other skaters to skate backwards or speed by. Why in the world are we being forced to be off the rink after paying $60 for admission and rental skates??? Almost every single table is reserved (with table cloths). No lockers or any storage to have belongings stored for safety... The man that gave us our skates ended up giving us a pair that contained 2 right feet. Went to return it for the left foot and he didnt speak any word to me, no sorry or even here u go when he was trying to hand them to me on the other side of a different customer.. upset with our first experience:(
