Its a part of the art walk on first friday, alot has been roped off, the still have props in cabinets from the play days. Projection room still there, sound equipment too. Wonderful piece of theater history as well as corpus history. They have heyday photos in the lobby. Love the building, needs a LOT of love.

Unfortunately this historic building is in a dilapidated state. It was not taken care of for a Quarter of a Century by the people who enjoyed it in their teens...Boomers. This being said, asking people of my generation, a millennial, to care about a building that was never a part of our history growing up is a little too much. It will probably cost millions to renovate and is on a piece of land that can be so much more. Tear it down, build a modern theatre for culture and art, and build new memories for the next generation. Shame on the people who let this building get so run down to the point of it not being fixable. Part of their history!

I am so sorry to write this poor review. You have an historical building and want TACO CITY for the world to see on the side of the building followed by smaller paintings related to tacos.. I think its tacky and not a professional appearance in the heart of Corpus ChristiJust my two cents. Looks getto to me, but each is to their own. If you must have paintings, wish it was the local wildlife here on the coastal bend.

This place is not really open to the public because they are renovating it. You can walk inside and see what it needs to bring it back to its old splendor.
