Absolutely love this place! Been going here since 1998! Bar staff has always been friendly and on point! Great drinks, music, dancing, and people! Lovely outside patio! If youve never been to Ropers, come by and try it out for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

I have been coming here for years. Its a hot spot and has great drink specials. Elie really knows how to make everyone feel safe and like family. Its always clean and always a great time. I recommend to everyone. One 9f the best in Corpus. Go see Ropers!

I met my wife here over 16 years ago so if I could give it 10 stars I would. Just like the Johnny Lee song I was looking for love in all the wrong places. I will return with her one day to dance on that dance floor again.

Good bar to check out the opposite sex. If your good with body language and want to grind. They make guys wear pants, so remember to wear pants.

Dance floor smaller than Im used to, but there wasnt very many people on Thursday. Music is good and the DJ played every song request I had!! Drink prices are reasonable.

Ropers is a great place to go dancing. On Fridays they have free dance lessons taught by the instructors at Shiny Shoes Dance Productions from 7 to 8pm.

I always have a great time Everytime I come here. Just an awesome place to come.

Free dance lessons on friday nights. They just got a new DJ on Fridays who plays some newer music and is request friendly. There is usually an older crowd here on Fridays though.

Im not sure about the experience of others but our experience was very good. The variety of music was good but a little on the loud side. We went on a Saturday and drinks were only 1 dollar.

Smallest $7 shot of Jameson Ive ever had. $17.50 for 2x Bud Heavy and Jameson and slow service too. This isnt NYC for crying out loud...

This is the only public place Ive ever been where 18 year olds and 78 year olds were getting hammered in the same room.

I just moved down here from the Fort Worth area and some of the people i talked to said that i should try out Ropers. Its the sunday before labor day and its the only other country dancehall that i know about in town and the only one open on sunday night. Im not trying to offend anyone one here, with that in mind, its all mexicans and all they play is mexican music. The bars name is Ropers not Chicanos or something. The only reason i gave it 2 stars was because domestic beers were $2.

The music was ENTIRELY too loud- you could not talk to friends at all. My ears were still ringing after I got home. How can you socialize when you cannot understand what a friend is saying???
