My one star has nothing to do with a sold out show or any shows at that. Thank you for assuming seems you being the owner are no better than your buisness.

I book a show online but it was the wrong date , my bad. But the bad part was I am from out of town . When I arrived we showed the girl at the door our ticket and she didnt say we are not have a show tonight . Sat us we had a few drinks ,appetizers and pizza bill was 70 dollars then when 9 came we asked the waiter when the show would start thats when we were told that ther3 was no show tonight, we explained are situation and the owner still refused to refund the money. Even though we told him we where from out of town and the show we had booked was for the same date next month pretty sorry.

We got there early and was told we couldnt sit at a table while we watched other people after us sit at tables. Then we asked to change seats upstairs and they made a huge deal about it and threatened to kick us out if we argued with them again. The guy at the door was completely rude. Waited 30+ minutes to get a drink and way too crowded. Come to find out we werent the only ones complaining. Never going back again so hopefully Ill see Steve Trevino somewhere else next time.Youre the owner and definitely lying now. Even the people next to us were complaining. And you did threaten to kick us out. The gentlemen escorting us to our seats was very nice and apologized.

We were at the smaller venue good wait service more up-close-and-personal to the stage

First happy hour was on point 2$ on certain beers 5$ on huge margaritas food was phenomenal the menu is similar with most Italian restaurant and all your traditional dishes are here with some of their self made delights...Im a vegetarian so the chef-Kitchen manager made one of his signature pizza rolls a special made veggie dish for me.... 1 to 10 I give his Pizza rolls 13!!! thank you so much chef for that special dish..Sarah the bartender helped me so much , was very patient and helpful with the many questions regarding food and cocktails I felt very at home even though Sarah was my server other servers made a special point to come by to welcome me .Comics are funny and original had a great time laughed amazing food cheap drinks and one more positive memory

We went recently for the 7-9 pm TJ Miller show. My low rating is not for the comedians or the servers but for management and the handling of a show not starting on time.They apparently had to move it next door because of the amount of people coming; however, when we arrived (6:30pm and the website says doors open an hour before the show), there was a line down the block and the door to the venue was locked, because they had failed to set up the venue next door in time - I can only assume. The Mesquite team kept all of us outside, that TJ Miller was on site but they werent sure how long wed have to wait (in the cold and pouring rain, mind you). However, we learned that he had a delayed flight and he actually didnt even arrive to the venue until around 9pm. Im not irritated about a flight delay, because things happen, but about how the Mesquite Street management handled it and lied to everyone outside- waiting in the pouring cold rain, instead of just telling us the truth and maybe giving a place to wait.They also told us that they werent sure how long we would have to wait outside, but could go upstairs HOWEVER we would lose our spot in line, because there was only one entrance into the venue (another lie). Come to find out, after we had been waiting in the cold rain for over an hour and FINALLY got into the venue- they had sat everyone who had gone inside BEFORE everyone waiting outside in the cold rain. The fact that management NEVER came out to speak to the paying customers outside but instead sent out a waitress, who couldnt have been more than 20, is pathetic. No one apologized or even acknowledged how poorly the situation was handled. I will not be back because of poor management. Too bad, because I really liked the comedians who opened for TJ Miller.

The food and drinks are EXPENSIVE. I went to see Steve Trevino by myself and I paid 50.00 for two small small drinks and 1 pizza. Thank goodness I didnt order nothing else. Its small and crowded.

We always enjoy the shows here. I love how they will send out texts to alert you when there are discounts for shows.

The comedians are good and if youre on their mailing list they send you great promo codes for shows. Now for my hope on improvements. My spouse is disabled so the stairs to the top are a grueling nightmare. The food and bar selection is reduced from what you can get on the 1st floor. Not a fan of their pizza and the alternatives on wings, pickle chips, or mozzarella sticks is a steep price. The drinks are also steep in price and limited to some simple hard liquor choices or beer (6 for $30 if memory serves). They have one good, attentive waitress. Hope you dont get the other because shes pretty good on ignoring you if you arent willing to fund a large tab. So far the only reason Ive returned is for the good comedians at a great promo price.

Great food. Great comics. Drink service a bit slow during shows but they work hard with limited people. Recommended

We saw April Macie, who was hilarious. Our server was pretty funny also. The drinks came out quick and the pizza was phenomenal!

Its hard to rate a comedy club since ppl go for the talent not the place... In this case both were OK. Drinks and snacks are of course expensive... $5 for a 12oz can of beer. Im not going back.

We went there for the pizza burger and it was a disappointment. The burger was burnt. The crust on the pizza was also burnt. Only giving it 2 stars bc the waitress was nice. It wasnt worth the 100$ we spent there

Terrible experience... Sat 10 feet from bar and took an hour before i was ever waited on (since you cant just go up to the bar and order).. I missed a majority of the stand up because i spent more time trying to wave down the waiter and to top it off when i got my bucket of beer, the beers were warm and i legit had a handfull of ice in the bucket

I won free tickets after visiting the Mesquite Street Pizza. I had a great time at the comedy club. Lots of great laughs

The acoustics are bad, it was hard to hear what the comics were saying because of the echoing. We made the mistake of paying for the VIP because we thought we would get something special, but the meet and greet ended up being about 25 seconds, long enough for an autograph and a picture. Dont pay the extra 45$ for it.
