Nice outdoor patio area by the water with those tall space heater/fire tower things to warm up with. The indoor area was perfect for the wedding reception we attended! It would be great if they could do some creative engineering/landscaping to reduce sound from the street.

If u have access to this community center then there is none better in SD. If not, u can always enjoy the beach in front of Del hotel stretching down to Nasni base.

Came here for a friends family wedding. A very nice facility, especially in good weather. Very nice view of the harbor, great patio and walk along the harbor. A large room for a dining and dancing hall and they had a couple of rooms for other utility uses as well.

This is an absolute gem of a community center. Always clean and the staff are always kind and helpful. On occasions I bring my 11 year old son here on Sundays to train for basketball. As much as I hate seeing empty basketball gyms, this one is great for the days when he needs time to work with dad or trainer Tate.

I went to a wedding reception there on December 22. We were served drinks and appetizers (none that were keto) on the patio next to the water. It was cold at 4:30, and we waited out there for over an hour before we were let inside. There was an ample dance floor. Good sized room and space between tables. But, the buffet was set up outside and the beverages (none that were hot) were out there, so the door to the cold outside was kept open all evening.

Its a nice place. I presented here. Parking was a little wack, but the views made up for it.

Amazing location and super grear for your events. The most beautiful view is at night when all the lights brighten the sea.

If youre looking for a great place to spend the afternoon look no further this is the place. Relax on the Strand or lunch in the town of Coronado you wont be disappointed. My favorite..its a smoke free city. Enjoy!

They have a 9:00 am Aqua aerobics class that is great. I can pnly go on the werkends but I really enjoy it.

Beautiful community center..plenty of free parking. The rock wall is right at the entrance. Offers several different levels of difficulty. There are meeting rooms, workoit equipment with a beautiful view of the bay, a basketball ball gym, and pool. Something for everyone! Thee staff is freindly and great with kids!

The Coronado Community Center is one of the most cost effective venues in San Diego county while still being in a centralized location for out of town wedding guests. The facilities are maintained well, there is a lot of space, and the evening view is hard to beat! We didnt use many decorations in the venue because the room was so nice. The venue has a lot of rules but the centers staff is quick to answer questions and help you along the way. You do need to use their preferred vendors but there are a lot of options. My only complaint had to do with the air conditioning - unfortunately the air conditioning was not working well enough so the reception got a bit warm with everyone dancing, we had the option to open the doors but we would need to turn down the music by quite a bit since there was a play going on. Many of our guests went outside and enjoyed the night talking outside, while people still tore up the dance floor inside. All in all a small complaint! I would still recommend this venue.

Amazing 50 meter outdoor lap swimming pool that was open in the 50 meter direction! Not too crowded, good availability, clean, well maintained, good chemical balance, good water temp (a tad warmish but OK), suit spinner, showers, hair dryers

My sister got married here last weekend. What a perfect setting for such a sacred ceremony. Enjoyed the art inside. A lot of space on the dance floor, enough for my huge family to cut loose.

This is a nice community that is well cared for and the grounds are well maintained. Management is friendly and helpful to the extent I have met them. Parking can be a challenge and you will need to check in with a guard upon entering. Its right by the ocean, so you cant beat that part.

This is a great community or recreational center on Coronado. they offer a variety of classes or activities for both children and adults. There are day camps and night sports, exercise and fitness classes, a pool, gym, and even a rock climbing wall. Staff is very friendly and helpful in finding things to do as well as keeping people informed as events change. Overall its a great outlet for a wide range of ages when it comes to community activities and other ways to stay in shape or just busy.

Stunning location and awesome pool. Definitely one of my favorites. A little pricey for drop ins but it’s worth it. If I could I’d swim here every day.

Attended a high school reunion here and had a great time dancing the night away in a great dance room . The area outside presented a super oceanside view to have our dinner catered.

We picked this stunning location for our baby shower and it was a blast. Everybody loved the location and had so much fun.The staff here is super friendly and goes above and beyond their call of duty to help you out.I wanted to hide my cake until gender reveal and so I asked if they could lock the refrigerator, they did not have locks but one of the staff members (should have asked his name) - came by later and bought some tie-strings as a solution. The room was perfectly arranged. I am so appreciative of the team at the Coronado Community Center, there is nothing more I could ask for. Thanks a lot everyone!!!

This review is primarily for the play house / stage. Ive seen a couple of plays here now and I really enjoy the intimate community theater feel. Well, probably because its a community theater.The pools are amazing. I havent had the chance to swim there yet, but I cant think of a better community pool anywhere else in the city. Certainly not San Diegos pools.

The place is really nice, however my experience wasnt good. We attended an event at this place and the customer service was horrible, so five stars for the location, zero star to front desk customer service

Went here for a wedding and it was great! Awesome view of the water but does not let you catch the sunset as well since the buildings block it on the west side.

Was here for the girlfriends annual work event. Parking wasnt too bad, the main event room was spacious and has a good view.

In 2016 my 4 year old participated in several seasons of swim lessons and a few weeks of 1/2 day summer camp. He really enjoyed these experiences and I hope to keep him involved in programs here.

It was very Clean. The staff were very professional, but not nosey. The showers were clean and plenty of hoy water. The other guest were politeJust a nice experience all together
