Still a great course. After seven years it never gets old. Well maintained to include the beautiful four holes along the Pacific Ocean including the premier 14th green.

Military based golf course. A real challenge for the average golf. However enjoyed the experience.

The course is in great condition. Its not particularly long but water and narrow landing areas make it challenging... and the price is right, especially for golf equipment! A DOD ID is required to get on the base.

I absolutely love this course!! What a gem! Wow 3 days later and I am stl blown away! The back nine sits right on the beach. Its a very cool feeling playing that back 9! The front 9 is great as well the fairways and greens are in perfect shape! I like how it has a resort feel to it. Not to busy either! Thanks Sea N Air for having us out for an EPIC round!

Was a nice time. Staff was amazing. They are covid safe, meaning they sanitize everything, perform temperature checks and evaluations before you can play. Great amltmosphere.

The greens were immaculate. The fairways have been the best. The rough was rough and thats all Im gonna say about that.

25 years ago Sea n Air was in dire shape.Today the course is in superb shape,100% better than the first timeI played there 25 years ago.The clubhouse and pro-shop got a major upgrade, now we play once a week after work.I highly recommend playing at Sea n Air,customer service at the pro-shop is fantastic.

Lush fairways and great greens. I was very impressed with the condition of the bunkers (I somehow managed to sample about 10 of them). A couple of holes with ocean views on the back nine. Nothing really special about the layout though. Staff was great.

Johnny is always awesome. The wife and I go out of our way to visit when were in SD. If you have base access its hard to beat their food for the price. The course side seating in SD is always a pleasure too.

Nice greens, staff was light which made for a slow start to the day. Not a lot of problems with pace, didnt see one foursome all day (it was a Monday afternoon). No cart service but full bar at the clubhouse with a grill. The turkey sandwich is filling and is a great option to take with you on the course.

Cannot beat the food, course, or views. Staff helpful and friendly. Beautiful running trails weaved around course with adjacent beach. So not just place for golf enthusiasts!

Picked the worse day possible time but its a really nice course. Can only imagine a sunny warm day!

Nice course to play and challenging greens was fast

I played this course too many times to remember while I was in the Navy. What a great golf course for a military base. It was always in good shape and being on the ocean is tough to beat. Favorite golf course of all-time.

Order at window. Wasnt greeted. Food was brought to the table Reuben had soggy bread but good portion of meat. Fish and chips had good portion of fish. Overall not the best experience. They have 5 beers on tap and infused water available to all. Table settings are Spartan. Decent but no ocean views.

Staff was friendly and the golf course is beautiful especially at sunset. Highly recommend visiting at least once.

It is a pretty flat course, place is beautiful, holes sequence were somewhat confusing or chaotic, conditions were good. Nice place for military folks but non military pay a premium, which I don’t know much cause my friend paid.

Quiet and Serene! Best kind of golf

I came here for breakfast. There was only one person working the register. She couldnt take peoples orders answer the phone and serve people their food all at once. Some food got left off of the order and some of the food we were charged for never made it to the table. They could do a better job.

Nice course, but not really first time friendly. They dont tell you about the balls or the tee or the the tee time, but the prices are good and the carts and rentals are nice. 3.6

Food is cooked to order. Fresh taste, county club experience.

If youve never been here before and google directions - DONT follow them. There is NO access from the neighborhood street where Google drops you off. You MUST go onbase to get to the golf course.The course is very nice. On a couple of the holes you can see the F/A-18s, P-3s, C-2s coming in to land very close.

Great course, a pleasure to play. In good shape even with #10 cut short due to construction. Huge restaurant, good food & cans of beer to go.Rental clubs were top notch.Too bad we didnt catch flight ops, woulda loved to blame OB balls on that.

This place is not what it use to be. You can order food a certain way, however it comes the way they cook it with a bag of toast on the plate (gluten free or not)!

Course is always in nice shape with fair pace of play. Greens recently punched would have liked to have been told on check in, although wouldnt have changed my mind on playing lol

One of the only two gilf courses in San Diego that is along the Pacific Ocean! Mostly military golf course only.. golf along the coast is awesome!

Good golf course. Challenging, in my opinion. Front nine fairways are narrow. Back nine is the best with beautiful views of the beach and Point Loma.

Garbage. The food is consistently sub-par.

I golf here every Friday with 2 very best friends and have always had my t-times accomplished right on time. As any other golfer will attest, that is one thing they want to have. Besides the pro shop always offers a wide variety of items that golfers always need, golf balls, gloves, cleats, hats, ball maekers, individual clubs or sets & whatever else one needs. They offer a service to regrip clubs. You can drop them off before your round and pick them up afterwards.So go out to Sea & Air and enjoy 4-5 hours with friends, you wont be cheated.

Played here for the first time a few weeks ago. I was not impressed with the professionalism of the staff at all. Each staff member was very condescending, rude and was not professional to me or my group.I played with 3 other friends and we only had intentions on playing 9 holes, the gentleman at the counter made the statement to his co-worker charge them double, since we all know theyre going to pay for 9 but play all 18. (I regret not getting the gentlemans name that said it but I really loved how my integrity was just assumed to be non-existent).Further more, we were instructed to wait for our tee-time which was everything we planned on doing. The course marshal rode up to us and instructed my group to begin on the 10th hole behind a gentleman that he thoroughly described to avoid any disruption of other players.We did as we were instructed BY the course marshal. Not soon after we arrived at the 10th, we were preparing to tee-off when a group rode up behind us asking what we were doing and that we cut them off. We advised the group that we were only following instructions from the course marshal and delivered them the option to go in front of us.Within minutes, one of the staffers rode up on a cart, publicly and embarrassingly scolding us for cutting off the group behind us. All 4 of us plead our case to the staff member that we were only following instructions and the member proceeded to call all 4 of us liars. His words were: NO HE DID NOT SAY THAT TO YOU repeatedly and then also explained to us of how that very same marshal that instructed us to the 10th hole walked into the pro-shop asking what we were doing and why were going to the 10th hole (which makes no sense why he would ask them what we were doing when he obviously knew what he told us to do).The staff member then ordered us to go back to the 1st hole and WAIT TO BE CALLED.We made our way back to the 1st hole and waited when the announcement came over the loud speaker for us to be next to tee-off. The announcement made was repeated very disrespectfully and then repeated slowly and disrespectfully as if we were incapable of understanding English.Our entire game was ruined thanks to this experience and I felt as if I wasted money playing that day because I could not believe the lack of professionalism and embarrassment I had to endure.I have no intentions on returning to that course and I do not recommend it to anyone since they do not seem to understand what they tell customers and then have the nerve to call them out for lying.Also, they do a very bad job at marshaling anyway since one hole we had at least 4 groups on the fairway as a a group of 4 spent at least 45 minutes on the green for whatever reason, no one knows, but it caused a significant back up on the course.Never again. Go to Admiral Baker if you want professionalism and organization.On a positive note, the course is very well maintained and scenic, if you do decide to go, I hope you have better experience.

Love the chicken wings, make sure it is not breaded. Good for lunchtime and quick stop.
