My daughter had the great pleasure of taking a weeks camp and loved it. My family and I attended both shows and the staff as well as the kids were so awesome. This organization is very organized, precise, caring and in sync. The dances and singing were off the charts! Way to go Young Americans! I love how young americans involve EVERYONE!

The Young Americans College of the Performing Arts is the best kept secret in the Arts Industry! Established in 1962 by Milton C. Anderson, The Young Americans was a leader in the field of choral music and revolutionized the industry by being the first to add dance & movement to their chorale. For 35 years, the organization inspired the world on television, in live performances, national tours of Broadway musicals and even won an Academy Award for their movie under the same title.Twenty years ago, the Outreach Workshop was born, taking The Young Americans special brand of music, dance, acting and inspiration TO schools around the world, as music was systematically being pulled from them due to budget constraints. In recent years, the College has moved to the forefront, offering classes in music theory, vocal techniques, acting, dance, teaching methods, and a host of other subjects. Education is the mission, training students from all over the world in the performance arts. Young American and Young American college alum have gone on to incredibly successful careers on Broadway, in television (acting, writing and production), music education and other related fields. For myself personally, The Young Americans has changed my life. As a member in the 1980s & 1990s, I was able to tour the world; mentored to write & direct shows; and even met my husband while in a Producer role. It has better informed my teaching (Walt Disney Company/Disney Performing Arts master teaching artist; Disney Musicals in Schools teaching artist; Segerstrom Center for the Arts clinician, to name just a few) and my ability to empathize, relate to and challenge my students. I believe in the college so much that my daughter is now in her sophomore year there. I honestly cannot imagine my life without The Young Americans organization and college and feel such gratitude for this incredible leadership training through the arts.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this non-profit performing arts group. Each and every one of them are living examples of everything that is good in the world. Besides being college educated through The Young Americans College of Performing Arts, they are also the most heartfelt, transparent and talented young performers you will ever see. They tour world-wide with a mission to inspire the world through music and their signature music outreach programs foster connection, hope and self-worth in the lives of young people everywhere. I only wish I would have know about them when I was younger!

Best variety for chilaquiles. Very authentic tastes from the various regions of Mexico. You can even request 2 different styles of chilaquiles if you can’t decide on just one. Service is above par. There may be a wait but it’s worth it.

The Young Americans are an absolute joy to work with! As an alumni myself, its been so great to see the organization grow leaps and bounds over the last 18 years. The college the YAs have started offers so much to the kids these days and when theyre leave the group, in my opinion, theyre ready to take on the world! Ive been lucky enough to hire some Young Americans for experiential marketing campaigns and hands down, the work ethic, charisma, charm and positive attitude is second to none. If you ever have the chance to see one of their shows at The La Mirada Theatre, at Boyne Highlands or on the road in a high school gym, they are a must see!
