Terrible conditions for the price. It’s a shame, because it would be a fun course if the sand, roughs, tee boxes, fairways, and greens weren’t in terrible condition. For $78 I expect a much nicer course and less harassment from the retirees who work at the course. Leave me alone, I paid $103 (w/solo cart) to play golf here.

We had a problem with the daughter who works in the Clubhouse,we were quoted a price of $47 he charged us $60 and didnt even want to include it with a cart. Otherwise the cost was decent and we had a good time

Absolute worst course I’ve played at. Tee boxes are barren. Fairways are a mess. Hazards not marked. Numerous sandy barren areas around the fairways and greens which are not labeled as ground under repair. Tough because of narrow fairways but not an interesting layout at all. Only saving grace were divot filled greens which rolled true. Never playing at this dump again.

Great golf course, but the staff was very rude. I played there years back, and one of the workers accused us of riding our carts recklessly even though we did nothing wrong. He was just an angry old man age discriminating against us because we weren’t senior citizens. Haven’t gone back since. Besides that, the course was awesome.

Interesting course layout. Very challenging. Greens are in decent shape. Some holes particularly #17 sand traps should be ground under repair.

Golf here was less than desirable. On the front 9, 7 of the holes were cart path only . Made for a long round eventhough it wasnt wet. The cart paths are really dusty with fine dirt. Following a cart was not good. The restaurant and bar were nice. Good food and cold beer!

I hate posting negative comments but here its warranted . Should have paid attention to all the negative reviews and not played here. We are on the 13th hole and it keeps getting worse. Unbelievably slow pace for no reason. Cart paths only - WHY?? To protect the worst fairways on the Island. Tee boxes and greens are beaten up... cart paths are horrible (bumpy and all sand ). Some greens have huge burnt out brown spots and look like ball marks have never been fixed . ( tried to post pics but couldn’t ) no course maintenance being done at all- it actually seems like the maintenance crew gave up and quit .Terrible experience Huge waste of money. In the vicinity of Willow Creek but not in the same golf universe. No cart girl, no halfway house ... no positives. To quote my partner : “bulldoze this place and build condos”We are now on 14... send help.

Review №30

Played there yesterday and conditions are terrible, some tee boxes were almost all dirt, the greens had bare spots with lots of unrepaired ball marks. The cart path is dirt with ruts and dust. Cart path only made for a 5 hour round, no ranger to speed up play. Players behind us gave up and left. There are a few other courses in the area that are in excellent condition so theres no excuse for the condition of this course, NYC courses are in better condition. Not looking forward to our golf outing there next month.

Excellent ! Played the course a couple of weeks ago. head golf professional Jimmy Batjer runs an outstanding golf club with exceptional facilities. My son and I had a great day on a great golf course . Jimmy Batjer as well as coach Rich Jones host many junior golf tournaments at pine ridge and should be commended for all they do for the golfing community on Long Island. Thank you head pro Jimmy Batjer and coach Rich Jones for making Jack and I feel like part of the family. Rob and Jack Breutsch

One of the best courses on Long Island, very challenging holes with a few risk reward holes too. If walking, one or two holes have long walks between green and tee. Fairway and greens are in great condition, staff very friendly and prices are very reasonable for a course like this. We play here 4/5 times a year.

KEEP YOUR RECEIPT !!!!!! Booked a tee time through GolfNow, paid for tee time at the course, then three weeks later Im billed for a no-show. Spent over 45 minutes on the phone trying to sort things out. Pine Ridges computers show that I paid, but their parent corporation did not have the records straight. DO NOT PAY CASH, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT !!!!

I play once a week and have a sub 10 hdcp. Played on 8/26/17, course was in terrible shape. This includes the fairways (which I can deal with), the bunkers and greens.Like any public course, your going to have inconsiderate golfers who dont replace their divot or repair their ballparks. If your going to charge $85- $70 for a round, the least you can do is send someone out to fill the divots and repair the ball marks. Also, at least rake the bunkers prior to the paying customers hitting the course. In other words, show you care about your customers.
