Im so fascinated with antiques in general! Even our 4 kids enjoyed learning new things! (Age 3 to 14) These cars not only remind me of simpler days but show where weve gone since then in the automotive industry. Staff was very friendly and informative! Definitely recommend going (even with kids). It doesnt take long to walk through if you dont have a ton of questions and read everything, like we did.

Very cool museum! There is a good variety of antique and classic cars, an informative video, and lots of good information throughout. The front desk volunteer is polite and helpful. We will definitely be back when all is settled in the new location!

WARNING: The place will be relocated to another place. However, my experience in old place was awesome! Guide is very helpful person and he allowed us to get on cars and being taken photos. Most cars are from early or mid 1900s. While most of them are fancy, few of them are very old and in a bad shape but still worth to visiting this place.

Are you interested in the development of the automobile? Then dont miss out on a visit to this amazing museum with more than 100 cars. If you are fortunate enough, Dean will give you a tour, play the authentic jukebox and the piano. All in all, this is an unforgetable experience.

Absolutely amazing. Very informative videos to watch. The clerk gave everyone a nickel for the jukebox. The cars were older than other antique car museums Ive visited. Each had a history card to read.

Great collection of early automobiles in varying conditions. Some rare and historically significant examples of how the automotive industry evolved. Will be back when I can talk to someone that works at the museum; no one there on Saturday to talk to.

Visited a few years ago, finally writing a review. I will be back. Very humble place with deep and rich history...love the teens and twentys cars -- esp. a Sears model. Not much more to say -- too much here to grasp at once. Worth the visit.

Really nice old classic cars. More people should go visit so they can keep the Museum open.

Very interesting and worth it for only $5 per person. There is a history for Iowa section and then theres an antique automobile section. If your into cultural history about Iowa or an antique automobile lover, this is the place for you. I would recommend this to all ages.

Really wish we could have toured this museum. The pictures in other reviews got us excited to visit! However, after about 30 seconds upon walking into the facility I started feeling nauseous. The smell is truly overbearing! I most certainly was not about to expose my kids to it. A good ventilation system would make a big difference and may yield more patrons.

I have never seen so many cars like this. Dionne if the earliest cars that were ever made. Some in original condition others are restored. You will easily spend 1-2 hours just to appreciate the collection. Several plaques help give information about the historical significance.

Soooooo neat! Hard to find the driveway but well worth turning around for. $5.00 fee gets you two museums. Highly recommended for a lazy walkthrough.Seriously, if you like old cars, you need to check this place out. Maybe be problematic for some people with mold or mildew sensitives so, bring a medical mask. Some cars were left outside and are pretty bad, as far as their interiors.

This car collection is one of the most unique that I have seen. There were so many cars manufactured by companies that I had never heard of from the early 1900s. I have been to larger car museums but the uniqueness here made for a special visit. As a bonus, there is a county historical museum in the same building and included in the small entrance fee.

Visited the museum today with a couple of friends. We had a great time. Half of the building is dedicated to regional history, and that exhibit was excellent. The car half was a lot of fun. The collection leans pre-WWII, with quite a few brass-era vehicles and a few into the 50s/60s. Quite a number of preserved, original as-found survivor cars in this collection... seeing them as they were/are is a great part of this experience. The gentleman manning the store at the museum today provided some tour guidance and a lot of really interesting background on the cars (and other items) displayed, and we were glad he was there. Two car guys and one not-so-car girl had a lot of fun and would recommend this.
