This is a great facility where you can learn how to swim. Ive had private swimming lessons with Neva, Ryan and Sophia. All of them are wonderful instructors. They teach basics and go over everything. Nicole teaches the adult group lesson level 1, and she is fabulous. Sebastian and Mark also taught the class.Julia taught level 2 swimming class, and she is a wonderful instructor.

This is a very expensive fitness center. I won’t mind paying the extra money if the equipment was updated and not rusted and worn out. The women’s restroom almost always seem dirty and gross (pics below) .. the stalls are not always stacked with TP.. so ladies bring your own TP ..also sometimes the people watching the front desk are working out and not monitoring the door or checking for IDs. So anyone could walk in... .And there is no security anywhere .. I don’t even see a single camera anywhere. I go in the mornin when it’s quiet and not too many people. But for the past few days I’ve gone, there is a creepy big burly guy who pretends to work out but is really there to gawk at women .. as he was doing to me. He followed me where ever I went. I was so scared I left. ️I wrote an extensive email a few weeks ago to address these issues of faulty equipment and management seems to be slllooooowwwlllyy addressing the broken machines but told me that all the machines were safe to use .. however by the looks of the pictures below please be careful. Because in the beginning of joining the gym they make you sign a waiver saying that any injury sustained at the facility on any machine is as consumers own risk.. but these machines are so old and worn out that anyone is at risk and no one would be responsible but the customer. ️... so use at your own risk.

Horrible customer service and zero common sense. I’ve been a member for over half a yearI’ve been away for the past seven weeks and i was not aware of my membership expired two days agoI drove 20 min over there to train this morning and unfortunately forgot my wallet, the facility tells me due to liability reasons, I cannot trainwhich is ridiculous because my signed waiver is in their system, so instead of accommodating for one day they’re losing a memberPlease hire some people that know how to use common sense in the future

Swim Instructors are people too..These people are here to train you and your children. They are here to train them to learn to swim. And sometimes different methods of strokes. Safety is first and foremost important in the lives of your children and for the instructors. So no floats are allowed, rubber rings. They honestly really want what is best for what you striving to achieve.

Extremely rude desk girls. The amount of Chlorine they put in the water is ridiculous. I came home with peeling skin from being so dry, and eyes that were excruciatingly painful I could not even open my eyes. They burned and felt hot to the touch all from being in the pool for less than an hour.

My sons first lesson was scheduled to take place today at 9AM. I arrived at the aquatic center at 8:45 AM. Ran inside to ask where the pool was as I had a class scheduled for my 3 year old son. A lady who was at the front desk said I was in the wrong location and sent me to Mullins. Arrived at Mullins and waited until class started at 9:15 and was told that I was at a wrong location. Went back to aquatic center in Coral springs and informed the lady she was wrong. The lady had the audacity to say oh I thought you said 16 mos oh you can still go to the class but you are already late. No kidding Sherlock! I sent an email to the director, Jay Walsh. Curious to see what he would do. Ill follow up to see if the director has any remorse and what he will do. Stars may go up or down depending on that experience.

Gym is dirty, outdated, overpriced, broken, and people are very annoying here. The people scream when they lift easy weight. They also slam their easy weights on the ground eventually breaking everything. Nothing is ever done about this because the workers don’t care. Also, don’t listen to any of the trainers. They do not know what they’re talking about when it comes to their career. If you don’t believe this place is dirty, look at the layer of dust under the dumbbells and smell the dirty steam rooms. The bathroom is never clean as well. For an extra treat, look at the discoloration of the carpet throughout the gym.Weights smell fishy like the people that work out here. MRSA infection is alive and well here since no one wipes down their sweat off the equipment. If you’re looking to catch some sort of skin disease and you want to overpay for a gym then welcome home, freak.

Regarding the swim instructors in the Red Cross program thats offered by the city, they are amazing. I have not come across one teacher that I wasnt happy with. Unfortunately, the people behind the scenes are not as awesome. The classes are scheduled so late in the day. A preschool class at 7pm is ridiculous. Preschool aged kids are typically in bed around that time. The classes are not being done per Red Cross descriptions. They group together Preschool 2 and Preschool 3 so that it is one class. This results in kids being in the same class, but in COMPLETELY different stages of swimming ability. It frustrates the teachers and it frustrates the parents, but it seems whatever complaints they are getting are being completely ignored. Also, they do sign up month to month, which is terribly inconvenient... mainly because its on a Tuesday. So, one Tuesday a month, you have to get on your game at 6am to try to secure one of the coveted spots. Why they dont have it on the weekend is beyond me. And why they wont do it by season or even year is just plain dumb. They are determined to keep your kid in a class based on age before ability, so they should allow you to sign up for more than one month based on your childs age, which only changes once a year.... buuuuuut they use the excuse that they dont know what class they will end up in the following month. There are a lot of excuses there, but not a lot of sense. If I lived in any other city, my kids would swim elsewhere. I am going to be moving my kid to Swim America as soon as physically possible. They have their business together. They are twice as much in money, but swimming for the city is terribly stressful in spite of the amazing teachers they have.

Ive been to several pools across the country and around the world, I personally believe that this is one of the top 10 pools in cleanliness, professional staffing and availability. I currently reside in the city of Lauderhill and I will prefer to pay more and drive further. My children have also competed here and this pool is one of the better pools around broward county.

Horrible. went to pick up my sister from water polo practice when a kid from Douglas High came while we were parked, cursed at us, and proceeded to smash the side mirror and bang on the window with two fifteen year olds in our car. everyone was scared and he drove off before we got the plate. his coach came out later, asked why we called the police for something that is 30 dollars to fix and decided not to tell us nor the police who it was. she also allowed her students to leave through the back so we would not see them or confront them. she also held back my sister from coming to the car by threatening to call the cops if she left to go to us. very unprofessional and she has no control over her students. im never going there again because i lost a whole mirror just trying to pick someone up. dont go unless you want angry high schoolers smashing your windows and the police showing up for hours.

My review is based on my experience taking the Adult/Teen Swim I class. In middle school ( I am in my late 30s now) I was thrown in the deep in of a pool as a joke (ha ha :-( ) and never put my head under water since. Jared, the instructor, was awesome in getting me comfortable putting my head underwater, as that was my dominant fear, not getting in water.. I learned to blow bubbles, Superman, freestyle, backstroke, as well as float (front and back). I would definitely use them again; in fact, I am trying to find a spot in the level II course!! My confidence level is throught the roof!

I was passing through and used the gym via a hotel agreement. It seems a little dated with some the cardio equipment in regards to treadmills. I could say that for some of the stationary bikes as well just by looking at them. They still work, but I usually havent seen many treadmills with rust or fading lettering. Speaks to the construction of the equipment to still in be in use. I used the free weight room as well which was huge with plenty of weights and machines to work with. The fitness clerks were nice. I enjoyed watching one eat a doughnut. Made me laugh.

Overall I liked it, I really liked the zumba classes, and the fatures that the complex has, but, the swimming class instructors do not give feedback to the parents on what their children need to work on, and do not get in the water to explain what their teaching they just sit there and make the kids do laps. They also need to explain what each term they use for teaching the kids. They just expect you to know what they are talking about. Also, my kids felt ignored and neglected.
