Much bigger than expected. Very nice place to visit the outdoors!

I cant believe all these people leaving reviews about this park being well kept. It looks like nothing has been done to maintain this park since 1980. NO walking paths. Roads everywhere. Dangerous unusable walking bridge and wooden path around a very small (and also dangerous) water hole (calls itself a pond). The one actual pond with a fountain has an old rock wall surrounding it and no benches nearby for anyone to relax and view it. People are forced to sit on the likely snake infested wall. I have never felt so strongly against a park. I dont care how big or fancy it is. Just need it to be SAFE and inviting for walking and sitting.

Such a nice, big park perfect to train dogs just be mindful with the time you go but we always have fun and add more memories everytime!

Very good location to get some fresh air and still have some social distance. Would love if they had pull up bars and dip bars. Wish that the city invested in adult type outside exercise equipment for this park.

It was wonderful and peaceful. I had fellowship while there. It was great talking about how good and merciful Jesus is to us.

No snack or beverage options, pool slightly too cold but acceptable. Lifeguards could have done a better job maintaining order.

The best park in the area. There are multiple ponds, streams, many ducks and a lot of turtles. There are also multiple play areas, baseball fields, a soccer field, a community center, and a nice swimming pool with a large shallow area for the kids and a deep end over seven feet deep with a slide for the bigger kids and adults. They have at least four lifeguards on duty at all times, shaded seating, bathrooms, and outdoor showers to rinse off.

Really nice park. This was my first time to go through the park and I was impressed. Its set up really nice and spread out so groups can have their respective spaces. Very clean and looking really pretty here at summers beginning.

A nice sized park, with space to do a workout and run. There is also a basketball court.

If I could give a Negative Ten I would!I just found out that the City of Copperas Cove has No money allocated for the ducks in the park for feed!I was told that these are wild and can find food!Some people bring bread for the ducks however this is not enough food nor is it balanced...They need corn as well!I will bring some corn and hope some of you out there will too!!! Thank you so much for helping out Gods creatures!

Love going 2 feed the ducks and there are at least 2 playgrounds for the kids and a public pool.

Always clean, it is well lit. One can feel safe jogging in the evening or early morning.

I had a great time catching up with an old Army buddy at this park. The weather was beautiful that day. We had lunch, talked about the past, present and future. 4 hours of conversation. Great times.

The park was clean and well-kept. The KCCB folks came and picked up trash. I would give it 5 stars but there were no restrooms anywhere and the building that HAD restrooms was locked. In a Saturday. WTH?

We just love this park. One of the largest and nicest in the area.

The city park is a place where you can watch sports and hangout with friends and family. Today I participated in a table painting event(Keep Copperas Cove beautiful). There is a pond area where you can fish and feed ducks. The only thing that could really use some attention is the public bathrooms. They arent in good shape.

My 3 yo niece had a great time on the jungle gym but I wish there was one specific for younger kids. We also fed ducks/geese and she had fun. We carried her the whole time to avoid the overly determined ones. Be prepared for the entire flock to desend upon you. Hope you have some fun at the park like we did!

I always take my youngest and my grandson there to fish. We always have a great time.

Great place to bring your dog or kids. A lot of green areas and the park has nice ponds. Unfortunately, the area is very dirty and I decided to pick up some trash near the ponds. Please encourage everyone to just put your trash in the many trash cans around the area! The turtles and wildlife will thank you!

Restrooms need soap and some kind of sanitizer especially cause of the covid.

This place needs to be cleaned very nasty the city should take pride in their park. The ducks look like they need medical attention the ground needs trash picked up. Disappointed

Its quiet and decent. The kids love the ducks gathering. This park has been upgraded, but has so much more potential.

It’s a fun place to get away and relax a bit. The snapping turtles there can be a problem so if they could be removed, to Stillhouse or Belton lake I would feel safer with kids running around out there. Other than that it’s a decent place to visit.

No working bathrooms! How does the city take all of that $$$ for kids sports and not have working bathrooms!? We pay for a service and at the very least it should include a working toilet!

Went to Rabbit Festival here! Was very fun, huge area for kids, and easy to find. Free parking.

Needs shaded area for playgrounds and swings but its clean and pretty here

This place needs some love. Been here my whole life with the same bathrooms, same ball fields. but got a new parking lot upgrade.

Breaks peoples reservations after they said yes. Really has gone to heck recently. Guess we need Joe and Nick back and these thing wouldnt have happened.

Just buy the pictures alone I will say that this is a family-friendly place. I personally dont know the area I had been there have travel through there,I actually have stopped there a few times but its one of those things where you just need to get out the house sell the park and think.

City Park in Cove needs some updating. I have lived in Cove 12-years and the park is due some updates. 1-walking trail, 2-dog park, 3-better roads. Overall its not a bad area, but a few changes will make a difference. It also has a Farmers market (Google for days and time) and they do have other events at the park. There is a little change going on by the pond and duck area. Visit it sometimes!

That park need more light is too dark, need new bathrooms. Thanks.

This is a clean, well kept, nicely managed park! They have great clean restrooms and well maintained soccer and baseball fields for the kids to practice and play on. There are basketball courts and play areas for children to play on. The local community pool is also located in within this city park. My kids and all of their friends regularly come and play together here and weve never had any problems!

Great place to play basketball, baseball, football, go swimming. Rabbit festival every year in the spring.

As a disabled person, the grounds were rough to maneuver a wheelchair or walker. We had a great time despite the rough grounds. Due to the weather it seemed many vendors didnt show.

The bathrooms here need serious attention. Come on cove our children deserve a safe clean place. Other than that the scenery is nice and it has plenty of walking room.

Great place for the kids, a pond full of ducks, playground,a bridge to walk over and watch the ducks. Rest rooms a must, swimming pool, rv spot. Close to Copperas Cove

Its a nice park we sit by the pond with our dogs when our house is being shown because its up for sale.dont have no place to go for that amount of time but there. Only thing is we couldnt find bathrooms not even on google.but nice place and lots of wildlife.

Play structures are clean and well maintained. Could use a trash sweep through the park.

Big park! The cove recreation department are good people. I actually set up a surprise wedding for my wife here in May 2018 at no cost. Good place to take the kids as they have 2 playgrounds in separate areas.

This is a well kept park and vendors are welcome here duing sesdonal activities.

Came here yesterday for the Rabbit Festival. Had such a good time. The prices for the wristband could have been a little cheaper since there wasnt a lot of rides but other than that and the knock off games that you cant win it was fun. Side note to a food vendor that wasnt using gloves...please wear gloves. I could have tried your food but with you not wearing gloves I left.

With recent renovations this is a great place to walk your dogs or take the kids swimming.

Love this park it’s never to packed unless it’s an event going on. The basket ball court is close enough to kids play area so you can still see them.

Beautiful, clean park with big creek, fish, turtles, ducks, squirrels, birds... Also playgrounds, basketball court, baseball, restrooms, barbecue grills...

The park is pretty great. Always hosting events. We did Halloween trick or treat last year and the food truck festivals. The kiddo loves the bounce houses at the food truck festivals. Never had an issue with parking either, always very organized and friendly staff. An enjoyable area for sure

Its okay. Kids play area needs and update. Missing some screws... also I dont like how the younger kids have to go to a different area of the park to use the swing.

Nice park with water and ducks. Farmers Market on Thursdays 4-7 PM is worth checking out.

Good park for kids and relaxation. Playground equipment is well maintained and safe. I do wish there was a more defined walking path, as the only way to walk/jog long distance is on the roads.

The public fishing in the pond was a success.
