Best bar in town... its no longer Trackside, its actually G&B Saloon now and theyre makin moves. Renovations, painting, new bar keeeps.... nice atmosphere, friendly locals. Its my go to after a long day at the office

I miss when the staff would join in in karaoke. It made me enjoy it so much more and made me want to sing karaoke myself. Now its the same people doing the same songs and although there is 3-5 people who are really good, its not the same

Nice big dance floor, the DJ was rockin , the pool tables were full and the atmosphere was Poppin! We had a great time and brought in the new year. This is a great place to stop by for a drink or two.

It was very clean and nice I think I was there just a little to early because there wasnt to many people there.

I love coming up there. The only problem I have is with one of the bartender Julia who demanded me to tip and has given me nothing but attitude along with dirty looks. Just for entering the bar. I have walked in and turned around and walked out just because of it. Drinks are amazing. And so is everyone else that I have met up there. Pool and music are amazing as well. The only thing that I dont like coming up there now is because of that one issue with Julia. And every time I come up there your always closing early. And kicking everyone out of the smoke room. When there are 10 people alone in the smoke room still drinking and playing pool and all that then we get told its time for everyone to leave.

The staff is super friendly, and they offer the option of a single or double when you order a drink. You dont get that in most bars, it saves a lot of time by not having to stand there and wait after finishing the first small one. The music could stand improvement, but all you have to do is ask the DJ. If he can find it, hell play it for you. Its a decent place to go on a Saturday night, lots of friendly local people just having a nice time. You can play pool, darts (steel tip, not plastic), dance, or just kick back with a drink and good conversation. The smoking section is separate from the rest of the place, but there are 2 pool tables in that area also. Try it, you might like it!!

Dead no one there. Staff was cool but the place has no life in it. They need to get better management to bring so excitement to the place

Went with a few friends to get out the house. They play a variety of music so theres something everyone can listen to. They have a pretty good number of pool tables some indoors others outdoors in an enclosed area. The atmosphere makes it feel like youre at home. The staff is very friendly despite their appearances. They keep on it when it comes down to collecting empty glasses. Im not a drinker but the friends I went with said they were decently priced on their draft beers compared to a different establishment. All and all I enjoyed myself.

Its a great club u got pool, dancing, owners a real good guy! Nice staff and plenty to drink!! Open till 2am like other clubs, everyone should go check it out! Theres even a smokers area inside so u dont have to go out in the cold, or rain, or heat!! ️ That So Ill see yall out there again for sure!!

Its a convenient place to go if you dont live very far away from the establishment. Its also a good place to go to if youre looking for pool tables that arent always packed. The drinks are a bit overpriced and some of the bartenders could use a little more training on how to make mixed drinks.

If you’re a fan of Dive bars, this is the place to go. The drinks are super cheap and the music was all over the board in variety. Pool tables and a bland atmosphere makes this a perfect dive bar! Cheers!

Great place.great friends

Went to Trackside last night for the very first time Monday night so it was slow. Theres a group of four of us me and my boyfriend were sitting there at the pool tables waiting for our friends to show up. One of our friends showed and as soon as she came in the bartender came over to us and asked us to see all of our IDs which was fine we handed our IDs my friend just showed her the ID but she said that she had to scan it in the computer which is also fine. My boyfriend made a comment oh thats cool. she had the worst attitude ever. My boyfriend wasnt even trying to be a smart-ass, but she told him at one point the next comment that was smart ass she was going to kick us out. She then proceeded to tell the bouncer but thats what she told us. First impressions. I wanted to leave right then an there. I was not impressed. for a time that you dont get a lot of business, and youre going to threaten to kick us out?! the little bit of business you are getting is it bad call. We dont even drink, we didnt have any drinks so we werent belligerent or intoxicated she came out of nowhere with a bad attitude.

On a not busy night the bar staff had trouble keeping up with orders. The club was empty on a Saturday night. It would be an amazing environment if it were capable of getting busy.

This place is depressing, tacky with very poor taste of decor, people walking in with flip flops and pajamas, had a lady with her cat claimed that was a service cat wth,very low class crowd.someone with a good money need buy it take a wrecking ball and start over from the ground .Definitely not a spot for a class decent person. We were there for 10 minutes then went to fubar bar in cove 30x better another level!. Trackside I wish I could give zero star thats a horrible place.

I love this Bar because they accept you for who you are in not talk about u behind your Back!!! They all would say it to you , I can say that about the 1$ I Brother & Sister from a other mother!!!

First off, the drinks are fine. The brunette bartender who is younger is very judgmental and rude for no reason. But, they have a nice light show. So enter at your own risk.

Nice more quiet alternative to loud clubs..plenty of pool tables and nice to be able to go out shoot pool and still be able to have a conversation without yelling at each other..

I would give it 5 stars but they dont offer childcare so youll have to leave that baby in the car if you want to party.

The new dj is so boring he doesnt even talk and try to get the people on the dance floor. It contrey night and he doesnt play any good country to dance to. Needs to play more old country and slow music . Something to dance to. There is no atmosphere and its boring. Need to bring the other DJ back. so I dont have to drive to Bos Barn in Temple.

We had a blast! Me and my bf met a guy that was cool as hell.. no one said much to us BUT it was a Monday and there was a xmas party so I didnt expect them to..

Unless you plan on staying in & watching cable, DO NOT stay here. The highlight of this place is the fact that they have a bed.The swimming pool is indoors, hence why we booked it, but it is super disgusting. I dont know when was the last time they cleaned it but during our stay the water was green with a white film on top & all the chairs were covered in mold. Its a heated pool but with how much it smelled like urine, youd think that would be the cause of why it was so warm.Also, if you are visiting from out of town, dont expect anyone to come see you. They do not allow visitors under any circumstances. They charge $100 for people coming to see you because they are unauthorized guests.Its unfortunate, how horrible this place was. Usually Motel 6 as a chain is well maintained & courteous. But this place is disgusting . On top of all this, the place used to be a Days Inn & they havent taken down ANY of the signs, including tags & brochures from inside the room. One of the MANY unprofessional things they have done.Needless to say, I will never stay here again. Nor will I recommend anyone else to.

Should be named trashside not trackside because this is for sure the trashy people of Cove you dont want to hang out with on a weekend! I went to trackside for the first time on Cinco De Mayo night. This place had a comedy show going on and charging a $10 cover. I paid the cover and sat through a string of amature comedians. The smoking room seemed to hold most the crowd. I did a fast walk through of the smoking area and my clothes and hair smelled like smoke the entire night. This place is very run down and the customers look like they have been going to this same establisment the same amount of time its been open. I was with a small group of people and we all agreed to never go back to this place! VERY obvious the only good reviews come from staff or owners of this place. This is a great bar to go to if you want to meet a lot of older shady people!

They do not do linedancing... in the early evening its for 2 steppers and around 10ish they play for the hip hop which is only 3 people on the floor. Nice dance floor. Nice people. They have a smoking room off to the side.

My wonderful husband of 6 years today 10/06/16 , our roommate and friend all came out to celebrate our special day ( this is the Mrs. btw not Mr. leaving Thursday review) had well drinks for ladies night, played pool and jammed to some good tunes.

Delete if not allowed.So many people are playing Pokemon, my husband and i havent really gotten into the craze but we do play a game called Geocaching. If you havent heard of it its basically a game that uses GPS coordinates that are logged into a app. You pull up these coordinates and they lead you to some kind of box or container. Its like a treasure hunt on steroids.Anyways. Today we were going to find a cache in Cove. Several people had found it prior. It was located on a public gravel road behind southern nights bar and an old workshop. We parked in the public parking lot and didnt even get 20ft from our suv when a white male in a beat up 2 door, tan chevy speed to where we were. We have no clue where this man came from but he drove so fast to confront us he stirred up gravel and nearly fish tailed. He asked us What the f*** were we doing in the parking lot? very rudely might i add. I had my phone in my back pocket and was in the process of pulling it out to show him the Geocaching app. Its pretty standard when someone doesnt know what were doing we typically show them the app and the location were heading. This man freaked out even more when i was pulling out my phone. He started threatening to shoot us if we didnt leave the lot. Once again. A public parking lot. Seeing that this situation could get violent, and not knowing if this male was intoxicated, armed, or on some sort of substance that could have clouded his judgement- we calmly put our hands in the air and processed to our suv. The last thing we needed was for the situation to end in a more violent manner. We began pulling out as he copied each and every movement we made. When we pulled out of the lot, so did he. When we made a right onto Hawk Trail/ Joes Street, so did he. He followed us at least a mile down the road. Please be aware when in this area. And please watch out for this nutt case. He was a middle aged man, dirty blonde over grown hair. He wore a Australian looking hat, shark tooth necklace and weighed about 175-200lbs.Please stay safe, watch your surroundings, and always try and keep the situation from escalating.
