Love this place. It is serene, lush green and historical. There are both paved and unpaved trails, which is mostly in shade, so good to go during sunny days. This is in historical coppell old town, so you will have plenty of things to do.It is near the community garden place.
Beautiful old historic park with some new additions.
Small little historic nature park. Can spend a quiet evening with the family
Beautiful old trees, easy short trails, some historical landmark. Wasnt crowded
This is a beautiful park in Coppell. Great for photographers. Beautiful surrounding to choose for photo ops. Wonderful place to have a picnic. Its a great place to take your chair and relax, and just enjoy the nature surrounding it.
Beautiful place for a walk, hike, family picnic and for a portrait photography. It’s kid friendly. It’s one of the most historic preserve of the county. It has picnic tables, cooking grills and paved parking that have been provided by the City of Coppell. Hunting and the use of alcohol, bicycles, horses, motorized vehicles or fireworks are not permitted within the Preserve. I love visiting this park and never ever get bored .
This park is very well maintained and clean.
Nice wilderness in the middle of coppell
Great park. Awesome photography spot!
Hidden gem. Large and clean and never very crowded.
Good for a short walk or picnic. Not big enough for running. Trails arent marked clearly or maintained very well. Most end in a dead-end.
Relatively small park with nice views, one or two wooded trails, historic WPA construction. Nice for short walk or picnic, next to modern senior/community center.
Beautiful family picnic location! Senior center is fantastic!
Great park!
Enjoyed reading about and learning the park’s history. Great hiking break idea before the day get’s away from you.
History abounds. Beautiful park. Opportunity to see slate formation under the Trinity tributary. The entire area was an undersea zone during the early ages of time. The Biodeversity Facility isnt far away to explain what life was like back in prehistoric times in this entire area. The president of Texas camped in Grapevine Springs Park with intentions of signing a treat with the indigenous tribes, but they never showed up. Sam Houston waited for weeks right here in Coppell,Texas.
What a jewel on the middle of hugh development, with concrete, shopping centers, and condos in every direction. This place is a true blessing to the area!
Nice park
Beautiful get away
