We love this place! Its our favorite place to see old movies and special viewings. We dont really attend any live events so no comment as to the service for those. The service, prices, and quality are all great. Not to mention its just a beautiful, old theater. We are members and encourage others to support their local theaters too!

Step back to 1925. Wurlitzer pipe organ. Hieroglyphic adorned walls. Nostalgic posters. Center front ticket booth.Very comfortable seating and very good acoustic make this a great venue to hear unamplified music.

Never a dull moment here. Sunday is church day or family movie day. Fridays and Saturdays are special movie events. Charities locally benefit from your patronage. Sometimes they have fantastic talent contests here. Dont be shy, give it a try! Ive seen great vintage films and even an amazing burlesque show that made new blush... All of the people are volunteers! All of the profits are donated to designated charities! The prices are better than the local Cinema. They even have a great treat pack for the children! The theatre is magnificent! Youll feel like you are in glamorous Hollywood luxury! Handicap friendly with spacious and very clean lavatories! Always a grand time!

Wonderful people, classic movies, decent concession prices. The five star is for my nostalgia, as I grew up here and went to the Egyptian frequently as a child. That said, they keep the same classic vibe, they roll out the same classics every year like Rocky Horror around Halloween time, but I saw Shrek there not too long ago which is not something they play regularly. Overall, I will absolutely attend something happening here that I enjoy and would recommend everyone the same.

The NB Winter concert was amazing last night at Egyptian Theatre as it has been in previous years. Theatre itself seems as if it needs a bit more care taken to its cracked lighting fixtures. As in any theatre, there can always be the chatty women behind you that feel its their right to annoy others. The woman I sat beside was a true treasure & very much enjoyed our meeting & chat during intermission. Good acoustics, comfortable & warm.

Love the classics! Great to be in a building that still has personality not just another box with some neon slapped on. The prices were reasonable for the tickets, but but shockingly good for the snacks. We didnt have take a loan out to buy a bag of popcorn. I cannot say the last time I saw a theater with an open balcony. My family and I cant wait to see another movie here

A local treasure, this place is old and finally got renovated a few years ago. Now they play older movies for charities and have plenty of awesome events happening. Me and my wife went to watch mavericks and they brought in a University professor to explain how the ocean works with underwater formations. It was really informative and a great movie. Also, It was free.

I went and saw The Matrix at the Egyptian Theater with my wife for only $10 for 2 tickets! It was the 20th anniversary 4k remastered version. Its a single massive screen with floor and balcony seating, super cheap combos ( medium popcorn and 2 medium sodas for only $10)!! Extremely fun, knowledgeable and friendly volunteers best popcorn Ive had at any theater.I was also informed that I could also get a membership which would get me free movie passes... Yes please, as well I could find their schedule on Instagram ( @egyptiantheateroregon ), where I could find updated information on whats coming too the big screen. If you havent been here you should check it out.

Such a fun place to visit! Love that it is an historical site that is still in existence! For halloween they put on a little haunted house you could walk through and then get candy at the end. No charge for it either as they were part of the downtown trick or treat. So much fun to watch movies here also, and there is a nice snack bar like the modern movie theaters.

Family Favorite! One of the few Egyptian styled theatres left on the west coast. They were quite popular during the touring of the King Tut exhibit back during the earlier part of the 20th century. This theater you can rent out for special occasions such as birthdays and for your organizations. You can also volunteer at the theater. The renovations are not complete yet, but it is a gem and always a blast to attend.

This building is amazing. They have done a great job in rejuvenating this piece of cinematic history. Watching a movie is only 5 bucks and popcorn and soda prices are resonable. The movie schedule is hit and miss and every month there are some lame local or wanna be film festivals rhat take away time from watching good movies. However, where there is a great movie like casablanca, back to the future, or pulp fiction this is definitely worth going too. This will change the way you view classic movies you have only seen at home.
