No signage on the shop. Almost missed it if not for Google maps. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and very helpful. Only real negative was lack of fishing essential gear such as full assortment of fishing weights and lead headed jigs.

These are the nicest, most helpful and experienced group of guys Ive ever visited. They took the time to draw a fishing pole setup and teach us about different methods, knots and fishing gear. It didnt feel like I went in to buy some bait and gear, it felt like I went in to take a fishing class.They genuinely care more about how much success and fun you have fishing than how much money they make. I recommend this little shop to anybody and everybody.I genuinely hope this review helps to bring in some new faces. Ive only visited twice and was pretty blown away by their honest passion for what they do.

Whether youre a local or just visiting Coos Bay, this is the spot to get your gear before going out. Its a small shop, but they pack it with anything you could possibly need for whatever you want to catch. The prices are reasonable, but the knowledge these guys have is priceless.

I buy almost all my tackle, rods and reels at bites on. Their prices are comparable on all their products. Theyre very helpful on where and what the fish are being caught on. Theyre always very nice too.

Great little tackle store. The guys working it are the best when it comes to customer service. For example, early this season I wanted the braid on my Avet jigging reels swapped front to back to get fresh line out in the open. To do this requires stripping the reel to a new spool, then putting that line on another spool and finally putting the line on the destination reel. That means each reel has to handled 3 times! Andy charged me $5 per reel for this service!Prices are a little higher but having a local shop with full service is priceless.

They are not over priced they are priced similar to bimart. I have purchased a lot of gear from them . They also are very knowledgeable on the local fishery.

Possibly the best tackle shop on the entire west coast. I visited from California and received much information on where to fish and what lures to use. Incredibly great customer service. Prices are quite reasonable.

They follow up with they say, they set me up with adventure. and gave me directions to get there. my ice chest was full when i got back. rob knows what he is talking about. if you want a successful trip, talk to rob!
