Joe was amazing throughout the process as we planned my wedding! He was professional, reassuring and gave wonderful advice for the DJ experience. He set me up with his DJ Jason, who did an amazing job and played our favorite songs. He kept the energy of the room up and ran the schedule for the wedding which was a huge relief!! Many of my guest complimented Jason and are asking for his information!!

Really horrible experience with this DJ (Joe Durviage). He came recommended from my wedding planner but as soon as we met him we had our doubts. Hes an older guy which wouldnt have been a big deal except he has NO idea about modern music genres, (electronic, rap/hip hop, alternative). We sent him over 100 songs to play at our wedding, including a checklist he asked us to fill out and the ONLY songs he played correctly were the first dance, the father daughter dance and the mother son dance. We asked him to cut out the last verse of the first dance song but he couldnt even do that. All the other music he played was OLD music, nothing even close to Top 40 or the like. He played beach music during happy hour... beach music was NOWHERE on the playlist or checklist we sent him. I cried at my own wedding reception because of how horrible the music was. Eventually after multiple people (including my husband at least twice) went up to him and requested specific songs to change the mood, only then did people start dancing. As someone who LOVES good music and has attended countless music shows and festivals over my lifetime, I cant express how disappointed I was with Joes service. We called him after the wedding, sent him a list of our concerns and asked for our money back. He never returned our call, but sent an email saying we could knock ourselves out by giving him a bad review and that he was sorry I didnt have a good time on my wedding day. This guy is a joke of a DJ and a joke of a professional and not worth anyones money or time. He didnt even have a real set up/mixing board - he had a table, a laptop and one speaker. There was no mixing and all the songs played way too long (he would start a song then get on his cell phone). He had no feel for the crowd (let alone the married couple) whatsoever. I say this with 100% sincerity - I could have done a better job with my cell phone.
