Such a beautiful park! Great walking & biking Trails. Fishing at this little pond seemed to be popular as there were many casting line to try their luck. Lush and green grass and trees. There is a bathroom right next to the large pavillion and the big playground.

Good place to fish. Lots of open areas. I caught a 2lb bass off a crank bait! Only went to fish for about 20min. Mid-day too! Good spot for kayaks too.

I love taking my grandkids and they love it too but we have not really gone that much anymore cause of covid 19

Favorite park to walk and long board. Times to go are 6pm - 8:30pm. The best tine so the sun sets and you get a great breeze. Cool finishing spots as well. And kayaking. Playgrounds are very nice!

This park has a mile trail, some exercise equipment, a couple of playgrounds, a decent basketball court, some green space to run around in, and a stock pond filled with beautiful birds that you can take a kayak on. One major downfall is that all water fountains do not work except at one playground. This has been a problem for over a year with no fix and is dangerous in hotter weather. There are significant cracks on the mile trail which is a tripping hazard. The park could definitely use some upgrades but apparently they are in the works and you cant beat the low foot traffic and friendly people.

Parking spot is less than 30 feet from the lake. Free parking. There are about 6 spots you can comfortably fish in thats near the parking, without going to the other side of the pond.Many small silver colored fish around 2 inches in length hanging around the shore, gives you an idea of what to use for bait. Caught a few fish around 1lb, so no monsters here. Water isnt clear, but not as dirty as the river walk.Dont forget your fishing license!

The park and lake are great! We dishes, played soccer and enjoyed lunch on the picnic tables. The restrooms are super clean.

It was a nice park, clean. My girls had a great time. Wish they didnt take down the volleyball nets, which is why we went. But the girls had a great time anyway.

Such a peaceful, family friendly place to go. Whether your thing is Basketball, Fishing, Trail-Walking or Jogging. This is the place for YOU, & your family. Sometimes I go alone, sometimes I go in groups, I’m always pleased with the atmosphere and it warms my heart to always see families at the Pavilion and dog-walking the trails. The beautiful Lake is my FAVORITE part. Visiting you may run into me and my two dogs, as we are frequents. You’ll Enjoy it! The best things in life are FREE.

Nice family park. Kayak access. Fishing. No catfish nets allowed. Big playground. Quiet. Swans. Lots of parking. Pavillion. Tables along waterside. Multipurpose paved walking/bike path.

It been a while since we have gone here. They done a lot of improvements on the park and I like the new bike path they made cant wait until they connect with the other park.

Great park, huge! Only thing is we went there for the zip line and it didnt work well,barely went halfway,needs to be greased possibly

Wow Converse.. first, how about a little care for the overgrowth? Everything is so high you cant even see the lake. Second, must playgrounds in the city are, rightfully, closed due to COVID-19, this one wasnt. Disappointed.

First time at this park and the kids loved it !! It had so many things to do and are kids are 6,2,3 and 1 year of age and they were having a blast for about 4 hours!! There is water for fishing and ducks and people had kayaks we were flying kites it was beautiful . There is also a biking and walking trail I would definitely be taking our family back. Also there is barbecue pits places to sit nothings tagged on and theres trash can nearby.

Nice small lake to enjoy fishing. Full basketball courts and a nice covered area to relax and BBQ, plenty of open field for your dogs to run around also. Very nice!

Great value for the whole family. You can bring your own food and the kids love all the outside play before sundown. I drive from San Antonio every weekend to visit. Much preferred over the multiplex cinema.

Its okay to take your children there. The restrooms are still locked due to the COVID-19. Overall, its good for now.

We had a fantastic time here. I brought my son and niece here to play and there was a zip line here! There were a lot of kids here already playing to make it more enjoyable. The park was actually a huge park that had another playground across the way and basketball courts and volleyball courts. With people I those areas as well. All the kids at the park including mines were having a fun time. Then the ultimate happened. THE ICE CREAM MAN CAME BY.....️️ Lol...all the kids ran to the ice cream man of course. We had a great time at this park. Seemed like this park was like this every Saturday. :)

This park is really nice. Try and attend daily depending on the weather to get my cardio in. Always full of fisherman and women fishing, have yet to fish pond though.

Stocked lake deep enough to kayak or light boating, 1 mile (marked) trail around park, stationed work-out equipment around trail, two parks, volley ball setup, basketball court, football field, baseball field, just huge fields in general, 2 playgrounds (sea saws, jungle gyms, slides, swings, rock climbing), restroom facility with NO doors but its kept clean, NO dog park, and most importantly, very safe place with cops and park patrol monitoring.

Well laid out but bathrooms not very nice.

Good picnic place. Fun for children. Some fishing and a walking track.

Great, spacious park with a great pavilion and a wonderful lake. The playground is great for kids, and the trail is great to walk and bike on. Our time made for a great Sunday afternoon with the family!

Nice park, nice basketball court, nice field for team sports, nice view of the lake (I heard decent fishing). They even have a nice playground for the little ones. With a public restroom and several covered seating areas, it would make a nice outing for the day for a family with kids of different ages, or a couple who just want to observe the views or go for a walk along the trails.

Awesome park with plenty to do. If you like quiet fishing this is a perfect little spot. If you like jogging this place is wide open and safe. If you have kids there is a cool playground with a zip-line swing. Basketball, volleyball, soccer, and football fields and courts.

We love this park! It entertains my whole family..... Everyone from the baby to my husband.

If you want to fly a drone, you can do so at this park. You can even fish there. Beautiful clean park.

Converse North Park is a beautiful park with a small lake in progress.They had the first ever Trunk or Treat. Im sure the community hopes for many more in the years to come.It was safe. The fire trucks were there, police, emt and more.It was really a special treat for all ages.

Great place to fish and be with family’s

Great place for baseball practice and drone flying for a beginner. Let your kids out and just run. Few chairs and an ice chest full of drinks and snacks. Youre good to go.

With the exception of the bathrooms, the park is very well maintained. A pond for fishing, pavillion, two play areas intended for different age groups, two fields, volleyball and basketball courts, and a paved path/track. Something for everyone. Love this place!

Wish they kept up Volleyball courts. Only 1 out of 3 can actually be used. The other ones have wholes so bad you can break an ankle. I love that they have Volleyball nets available but I wish we could actually play on them.

Good food friendly wait staff is right on it you dont have to wait too long for your refills on drinks prices are decent they do have a drive-thru

There could be more shaded areas to sit, but its a park, and it has so much for every age in my family to do at once. Fishing, playground with swings, walking or jogging track. A nice tucked away park.

So much to do, especially for young families....including fishing! Playscapes, basketball, kite/drone flying, dog-friendly & plenty of room for all kinds of games. All in all, a fun place.

This is a great place for the whole family! There are multiple playgrounds and a walking trail that has different exercise equipment all around. The pond is good for fishing. There are also ducks that sure do love some cut seedless grapes! This is my childrens favorite park!

Love this park. It has two wonderful playgrounds plus a gravity roller coaster swing. It is nice to be able to come here with the kiddos to play and walk.

We found a good spot for fishing . on out way out we noticed the playground had a big swing zipline. i never seen one like this one. luckily it was night and everyone went home becos good lord did i have the time of my life or what

A nice big atmosphere but ground is very dry and lots of deep holes from dirt separating. The one good sliding swing is not working properly.

Park seemed to be in great shape. The pond was very clean, but there were lots of snakes that I encountered walking around the perimeter.

Love the new bathrooms, there are horrible potholes on the street right as you get to the lake and one of the water fountain has been leaking for weeks that need attention
