Great views of Lake Erie. Park close at dusk and no dogs are allowed. Youll need to were shoes because theres a good amount of drift wood and smooth rocks. Great beach area almost seems secluded.

We loved the playground, the beach, & concessions. The food was good & everything was clean. We loved the little stream. The boys caught crayfish & small fish & we set up our tent near it so our younger son didnt have to worry about the waves. Beach was rocky but we did find some sea glass.

Visited on 8/16/20. The park was very nice, tons of spots with benches, trash cans, and grills. They even had consesions and the typical beach bathrooms, which were open! Very open, and decently scenic. The beach itself was beautiful, a tad rocky, and lots of area to swim/ spread out! Definitely recommend! Highly likely to find beach glass if you look close enough, also a good bit of people looking for it!

The rock/sand mix is fairly harsh, and will start to hurt your feet after a while. Theres a lot of small pieces of beach glass here, which is a great way to spend an afternoon with the little one. It did start to get a little busy by lunch time, and we went on a Thursday, so I would recommend coming early if you want to have a little space.

Always plenty of room, never crowded .. well kept, lots of waste receptacles .. several locations within the park to sit n enjoy the views .. watch the boats and ships coming and going. Nice new concrete walking path throughout, boardwalk on the beach. Outdoor shower and foot rinse upon return to the parking lot. Decent playground, mostly suited for younger children, good consession stand. Several pavilions, grills and picnic tables throughout. Small creek . . Always get crayfish! FREE .. mood is always uplifted here

Stunning per usual. Well kept, friendly space. Beach was fairly clear of drift and trash debris (no more than would be expected from such a large public facility). Truly a community gem nestled along the Lake Erie shoreline!

Lovely beach with great photo spots (gazebo and large chairs). The beach has fire pits and benches and theres a big play park for children. Closes at dusk.

Ive been visiting this park for years. Always clean. Great place to take kids. I think the little stand is still cash only. The ice cream and onion rings are good though. I havent tried the other items on their menu.

Grandkiddos had fun running around there for gym class

The beach is indeed a hidden gem in the rough. It was beautiful during the evening hours on a long summer day. The water was calm, but appears deep not far from the shore. It was quite relaxing.

Love the park. All the kids playground is in the shade, way better than Lakeshore Park in Ashtabula.

Its close by, and small enough that you can keep a close eye on your kiddos, but big enough so they can burn off that energy outside instead of terrorizing your house.

Nice clean beaches. Playground equipment in excellent shape. Nice people too. Definitely a place to go that is safe and pretty. Sunset is amazing!

Found this place to have a nice picnic while traveling. Only 3 miles from the Interstate exit. Wonderful views and plenty of places to have a picnic. Went there on the return trip also.

Pretty good beach. I recommend swimming shoes if you plan on going for a dip. My family enjoyed it a lot. Awesome playground, good concession, and everyone there was friendly.

Beach and consession stand were really nice. Lots of green space and playground as well. People were having picnics and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Its a beautiful, quite, peaceful place with an awesome view of Lake Erie. I love to go there to think, pray, scream or just to relax and calm down and listen to waves crashing on the shore.

Best beach for the majority of NE Ohio...highly recommend. But wear those water shoes....very rocky at some points but the rocks are fairly smooth and NOT a real caution

Very relaxing hidden away gem of the Northeast Ohio Lake Erie beaches. It has an extremely calm water area that is sheltered by breakways a decent way out. It isnt as groomed as the better known but much more crowded parks, but it is still definitely worth the trip

The beach had plenty of space and was wonderful to walk up and down the shoreline. It is the best beach that we have been to so far on Lake Erie. We are definitely going back soon.

We rented kayaks for the family and spent the day on the water paddling around and laughing. The highlight of our summer. A fun memory of time well-spent.

This is a great park with a nice beach. They do lots of stuff here throughout the summer and have a nice playground for kids.

Large park with the works. From pavilions to pools and park rides..theres something to be enjoyed by all ages. Living on the Gulf Coast, I was still impressed with the beach area here. Beautiful view of the lighthouse and Erie. There were many visitors for a weekday (park and water). I can imagine the weekends are crowded.

We have been there when the reenactment from the second world war was there, it was such a great experience so much history in one place, awesome. If you havent been here go and visit this place especially when there is the reenactment, I really loved it and when it gets too hot just jump into the lake

My family and I try to come here every year around the forth of July. I absolutely love this beach. My children and myself love looking for beach glass. They have a spot you can drive down onto the beach. The water has always been clean. The sand here can be a little rough on the feet so bring water shoes. The beach is also full of stones which we like to draw on. We will be back next year!

The D Day event at the park was great. It was well organized, clean and a great time.

Awesome place for kids to play basketball and soccer! Also the toddlers can play in the nice little playground there and not have to worry about getting hurt on old equipment! Also, the D-Day reenactments and fireworks held there every year are not to be missed either! Good times, a really nice park!

Chilly September afternoon, but best unwind zone to release yourself from a long day! Totally worth it.

WOW... what a nice, BIG park! Residents very lucky to have this place. We attended the D-day reenactment and what a show! Must see if your into history (as you should be). They had Infantry, armor, period aircraft, artillery and many period reenactors. C-47 aircraft, P-51 fighters, Higgins boats and more. American, British, French & Free French, and of course...the Germans. Friendly & informative people willing to answer questions.....GO SEE IT.

Conneaut Park is beautiful! One lot is elevated about 30 feet above the water. The beach is very wide and deep.

Every time I come here I am reminded of a New England beach. Best place on Lake Erie is right here! There are an abundance of benches for those who cant walk great anymore. Theres a nice playground, great concession stand, and its in a convenient location. WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE! Theres something for EVERYONE here!

Beach was clean and beautiful. Only downside was I got my shoe stuck on the boardwalk from all of the splintering wood. Had I not been wearing shoes it would have hurt me.

It is so beautiful here. A perfect day, bit of a breeze.

We go here every year for the D-Day Conneaut event. The park and beach are gorgeous. The event is completely free, and us the largest D-Day re-enactment in North America. I highly recommend checking the park out, and consider the event if you are able to make it.

Great clean park. Huge beach with lots of parking. Sand bar beach is neat but it was underwater. Nice little concession stand with good food. Stay Conneaut is in unbelievable. It feels lime you were there.
