The place is well run, very efficient, even during the pandemic. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and professional; everyone is willing to go out of there way to assist any questions. The attractions are well designed, well maintained, well run, and clean. So why not Five stars? Its very expensive, a 24 hour stay for a family of three will set you back between $500-800, depending on what add-ons you buy. Most of which are reasonably priced, the big cost is the room, $350 before taxes, Ive stayed in a Hilton in Manhattan, NY for less. Otherwise, its a great place to spend a weekend the family and friends.

I really enjoy spending time at this hotel. The water park is great and the kids had a blast running around playing Shadow / Magic Quest. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I am disappointed that the lounge couches are gone. This was the only down side to this visit. I understand the risks of going to a hotel during this pandemic but dont take the lounge chairs away.

LOVED IT!!! From warm welcoming to mountain cabin theme, got my boys very excited. The rooms was cozy and warm with the cabin layout. Wolf dens are a must if you have toddlers. It gives them the layout of camping but in a room. The indoor water park is a must. The staff was awesome along with great service. The arcade was very fun, it has lots of games and plus the game surprise were well worth it. Bowling alley was well designed for toddlers/kids. Well be back for more fun. Thank you Great Wolf Lodge!!

Great wolf is cool, and i think everyone who is interested knows that much. two things jumped out at me, which five the 5 star rating. one, this place is incredibly clean. i was astounded - spotless, sparkling, and consistently being cleaned. it made me feel very comfortable. two, the food is really good. its not just generic, decent chain restaurant-type food. the wings were fantastic, the breakfast was great, too notch burgers... i highly recommend, and i will be going back!

This place is great. This was our first time here and we only stayed one night but really wish we had stayed for at least one more. There is so much for the kids to do. Our room was very nice. We stayed in one of the themed rooms and had plenty of room for 5 of us. It is a little expensive but I think its worth it. The water park is great- wasnt too crowded and lots to do. If you are planning to go I would definitely suggest staying at least 2 nights if possible. We went for our daughters birthday but will be staying longer our next visit.

This trip was great and the kids loved it. We were told they were short staffed and they apologized for longer than normal wait times for the slides. All staff there were very nice. I got my kids the unlimited play laser tag and the young man working it this weekend was great with the kids. The only reason it was not a 5 star is due to our room not being very clean which was upsetting considering everything going on right now. An old milk drink was in our room and it was very dusty we wrote in the dust actually.

We love coming here as a family but this visit wasnt so Great. We were on the lobby floor/1st floor and at 8:00am you have lawn crew blowing leaves right at our balcony window, and with them doing this it woke our whole family up. Which with any family that has little ones if they dont get all there sleep it makes them really whiny, so it ruined the rest of the day. Needless to say the next time we come we wont be getting a room on the 1st floor.

Made a reservation for 9/12 for one night for kids’ birthday since they said they would reopen 8/27. They charged my card at the time of reservation. On 8/28 I go to the website and see they are going to stay closed until 9/30! I called customer service and was told the decision to stay closed longer was made a week ago! I was not notified nor did I get a refund of the almost $500 they had already charged. The rep told me that they would have refunded the money on the date of our reservation. If I hadn’t checked the website I would have shown up to a closed Great Wolf on my reservation day and had to try explain to my young child on her birthday what happened. Great Wolf would have also held on to my money for over a month!Very poor business practices! If you decide to extend your closure at least have the decency to notify people and refund their money right away! The rep told me it could still be another 7-10 days before I get a refund! I will never do business with Great Wolf again!

Great Wolf Lodge is a favorite of my Kids. We visited this past week and I had messed up our reservations. I booked a handicap room for 2 nights not 3 like we had planned. At check in Erica was fabulous she worked to move our reservations around to get us an additional night at the same rate as well as upgrade our room because they were full. Erica is an asset to GWL and I will be returning because of her.

Wow! Can’t believe we went to a waterpark during covid but we did and it was great!! First time at a GWL so not sure about all the things we missed. Grandkids are 5 & 6 so perfect for them for a few days. We only did the room and waterpark and did outside trips and meals to explore Concord area. We chose the concord GWL because reviews said the waterpark was bigger than Lagrange which is near is also. I thought it was perfect. We went during the week and we had no wait really for the slides. Friday and Saturdays were busy and we did other things in the area. We did not get sick. Everything was clean. Air temp and water temp is posted when you enter water area. 87 degrees! We brought long sleeve rash guard swim suits for the kids off amazon. Because two afternoons it got chilly in there. They have floaties but they wouldn’t have fit our tiny girls. Bring your own if you have little kids. They provide towels you can swap out for dry ones anytime. We brought snacks into the waterpark in our bag for the kids and purchased a $16 icee cup we refilled for free all week. Plenty of places to eat out. OMG donuts are amazing! Jack in the box is good for take out breakfast. Walmart nearby if you forgot something or want fresh fruit. If you are in concord NC go to the Lazy 5 Ranch and take cash! Get several buckets of feed. Its a drive thru petting zoo! Take pictures!

The only cons we had: breakfast was a waste of money, and overall food was not good (salty cornbread tasting pancakes, etc). Please dont spend your money on it, especially in the paw pass package, like we did. Also, the twin beds for the kids were harder than a rock, so the children ended up taking our bed, so you are better off getting the non themed rooms that have a bigger and better mattress.Pros: service is awesome and everyone was happy to be at work and very friendly and helpful. Kids loved the Halloween activities and decor, pools for all different ages, and arcade were the highlights. The room and facilities were extremely clean, and they had everything we needed there. Everyone wore their masks for covid safety, but it was very hard to keep 6 ft distance in pools, etc, so that is an obvious risk.

I expected more for the price honestly. The rooms themselves seemed to be lacking, there were eseveral things under one of the kids bunk beds left from the last group to stay.Meals were great, recommend getting the passes if you intend to do anything besides the Waterpark because they really pay for themselves.Alot of the restaurants and dessert places have odd hours I though, possibly due to covid, same with dunkin. The auxiliary areas like bowling and stuff also seemed to be operating at odd hours because the door said open daily from 9am but we attempted to go at 1p and they were locked. They had a very cute Halloween trick or treating event which was free. The Waterpark is great and we enjoyed it.We did check out an hour and half late which was an extra $60..that wasnt a huge deal..late checkout is generally a bit more.

The kids love this place. Adults not so much. I would compare it to the first circle of Dantes hell or purgatory. Your kids will have such a great time that you end up being there for at least 2 days. The air and the water in the winter time is just cold enough to leave you slightly cold and uncomfortable but you got to be in the water with your kids to watch out for them and take care of them or do the rides with them. It is what it is. But if you want to know what purgatory be like stay here for several days.

I placed a vacation for the Concord location and it was closed down due covid. I called and a male rep said there was nothing that could be done. I called back and spoke with a female rep. She was nice but was giving so much information at one time. She told me that I could call back if I had any concerns about her moving my dates from july 2020 to November 2020. When I explained that I wanted to move the dates to next year for the same days that I could not get this year, they said just call back and we can move the dates for you when we get the calendar in November. So I called back again and was told that by a male rep again that if I do not use the dates I will lose my $500 and they cant give me the same rate that I got when I booked it. When I checked the rates, the rates are double and and almost triple what I paid. I was really looking forward to this trip but now I just want my money back since none of the communications are clear and the same.

Our kids had a lot of fun in the Kids Camp rooms, as well as enjoyied all the actives on the paw passes. Some things were closed because of the 2020 virus, but they let you exchange things on the pass for things that were still open. We paid about 1750 for four nights and were able to do all the available actives. There are only four large water slides and a few, much smaller, slides.

It was good as a one time thing.I wouldnt go often unless you have money to waste. Also, there was no social distancing at the waterpark.

Great time at the lodge overall. The whole family(two kids-ages 3 and 15) thoroughly enjoyed the water park. The Howlin Tornado slide was perfect for a good thrill! The food is expensive, and left much to be desired. If you’re going to eat at the lodge, buy the food voucher prior to your stay to save money. Remember to check your receipt after your stay and your bank account. We were charged $128 for towels because the lodge thought we did not return them. We were also charged $85 for for breakfast though we had a pre-paid voucher. We were refunded for both charges, but if I didnt check my account, it would have gone unnoticed.

I visited this place with my family early in the year before COVID. My young daughter had an absolute blast. The staff is very good interacting and entertaining their young guests. There was plenty of open space to walk around within the park. In the last I have visited parks that had a closed layout and were cramped. This park is well designed. First, had a wonderful time. Super great value for our family. We didn’t/couldn’t get to everything is such a short amount of time but Everything we did was great. Water park is super cool and we had a great time in the arcade. Buffet had a wide assortment of veggies. I can’t support this with evidence but some of the high ticket games seem to have daily resets on their grand prizes so going first thing in the morning seems to hit them. I’ll give 5 stars here for sake of rounding up but it’s really like 4.5. Just a few minor points. We were on a top floor and there were large bees coming in and out of the roof. It made us not want to use the patio. Some of the public restrooms don’t have baby changing stations in them which is odd for a family oriented place. I wish there were vegan desert options at the moose loose buffet. The in-room AC is pretty darn loud at night. It’s right next to the pull out couch so just be aware of that.

This was a first time experience for me and my daughter. It was amazing and super fun. The indoor water park is all we experienced from the many choices they have and we had a blast. My three star rating was due to the restaurant experience we encountered. It took way too long to receive our food on top of the staff not communicating with each other well on seating. As well as accurate communication with me and my friend with what was going on with our childrens orders. Our kids food tasted burnt due to old frying grease being used and it took 20 minutes for their speciality drinks to arrive. I spoke with a manager to ask (not complain) about why it was taking so long. She offered to comp the drinks but I denied I was legitimately curious as to the issues of my children waiting so long for a simple drink that could have been communicated prior to my having to ask. They werent offered waters until I spoke up about it because they were thirsty and were drinking the parents sodas waiting for theirs. Our appetizer of calamari was cold and Im a cook so I can tell their were pieces that werent cooked fully or to accuracy. All in all I would definitely go again but I will absolutely recommend staying on your toes if you decide to eat at their restaurant. Possibly even opt to bring your own food or order from the other food services they have to offer. The restaurant experience brought my rating lower.Im not a negative person being as Ive served as well in my past so I get it. But a good server goes beyond and informs their customers of delays and management stays on top of their servers as Ive held management positions also.I just hope noone else gets the experience we encountered. But definitely try the place out its worth the fun and joy it brings your child. My daughter had a great time and didnt want to leave. But she also didnt eat lol so i have her my food.I wish I took photos but we were busy having fun at the pool. After the pool was our down fall.

We used to love going here but feel like they are taking advantage of the COVID-19 to make money. Had scheduled in Concorde for a certain price and they moved the date and when I called back to reschedule it was automatically more money. Then they move the date again and when I called back to the new date they said it was even more money. The girl on the phone was very polite but also sarcastically explained that it wasn’t her fault and that’s the way it is. I understand the reasoning behind moving the dates but how about honoring what I originally was charged and not keep raising the cost.

We brought my 5yr old here as a surprise for a short weekend getaway. Our first time here. Pros: there is so much for kids to do. Of course the water park is the most fun. We bought the paw pass which gave him the opportunity to do a lot of the activities. He enjoyed the bowling, arcade, and laser tag. The night time story was really cute. Our room (a standard king) was very clean, bed slept well, and the facility as a whole was a nice place.Cons: while the resort is really good at keeping things clean and having hand sanitizer everywhere... the sanitizer smelled awful!!! Like tequila or something. We used our own as well as washed them most every time we passed a bathroom. The food is typical resort food. Not good and very pricey. We thought we’d take advantage of not leaving the hotel and eating here as there are 3 places to eat at but next time we will just leave and eat out. None of it was good to us.In general, for us, after a couple nights we were ready to leave. My son had a blast and that’s all that mattered to us.For the price you pay per night plus all the add ons like the paw pass, we just expected to have restaurants that didn’t serve “frozen” food. It is not an inexpensive endeavor, but they do offer Military Discounts and rates seem to be less during the week. I am here now spending 2 days. The excitement my family has had building up to this trip fizzled out very quickly. If you are a skinny family with skinny kids then youre set, but, if you have any weight on you the attendants will make you feel like lesser of a person. So, I ended up walking down the steps leading up to the waterslides because of a comment made. Again this place accommodates skinny people; I needed a bigger chair so I could sit down, I was told there was nothing they could do to help and the lady went to fold towels. We ordered pizza from the pizza takeout right by the water park, and we got our drinks from the room to bring with us - the attendant wouldnt allow me to bring them in even though they were 100% sealed in the bottle, she made me trash them. As I looked around I noticed there were more people than not with their own personal tumbler style cups, as well as cups from various fast food restaurants in the area (Cook Out, Wendys) - but we couldnt bring sealed bottles. Now, considering room accommodations and guest services for the room, they are AMAZING and on top of things! This is definitely more kid friendly than family friendly as family includes the adults! This place may work for alot of families but do your research before you fork over the over priced room charge and end up being disappointed.

Update: after contacting them via email. There wasn’t much of a resolution other than we’ll pass on info to team in charge.- Full price for half the fun -We have been coming to your hotel for 4 years, multiple times a year to bring our son to the water park. Before, pool would open at 9 and check out was 11, giving time to enjoy the park before checking out. Now there’s relatively no time to do both in that hour. If your water park hours have changed so should your check out time or at least check in. At $300 a night we normally pay, we should be able to enjoy the water park longer and giving your target market are families you should know little kids have the most amount of energy in the morning and midday when they wake up and not past 6pm when is time for dinner and settle down. We have enjoyed your hotel so much that we let slip a lot of nasty customer service and often poorly cleaned rooms but cutting back on pool time without adjusting check in and out times and/or cost is just so disappointing. On top of that, lots of activities are closed which is understandable due to Covid however, you shouldn’t charge full price if we are getting half the fun. Thats plane and simple greediness when most companies have been accommodating during these difficult times.

This was the perfect get away for us for my sons birthday (10). He loved it and so did we. The staff was great and the rooms were clean and up to date. It wasn’t crowded either, they rode all the slides as many times as they wanted. Only being an hour and a half away from home it was great and I’m pretty sure great wolf will now take the place of myrtle beach for us. Bass pro and the mall was straight across the road basically so that was nice and plenty of food to pick from. We will be back !

The Great Wolf Lodge was amazing! The water slides and pools were super fun and the place gave me the real feel of a Wolf Lodge. It was the best experience I have ever had.

Absolutely loved it! He didnt even get on all the water slides. Wave pool was his favorite. The food is expensive, tasted fair. Enjoyed the souvenir cup with refillable Icees. Wish they had pineapple. Everyone was kind and helpful! Will return soon.

Made reservation for 9/12 for daughters birthday months ago using a promotion that was offered on the website. Recieved an email basically saying their reopening date is set for 10/1.. when I called to confirm and or possibly reschedule one agent told me that this location is open, another agent said system just updated 30 mins ago saying reopening date is Sept. 17th!! Geeeez please get it together!!!!! Very frustrating and on top of that yall wont honor my offer since I have to change my date which I believe isnt fair! Shouldnt have to call several times just to get FACT information that couldve been giving on the 1st call..

I am currently on a family vacation on my first day and it started out ok now it is terrible this will be our first and last time staying here!!!! Service is terrible, invasion of privacy. Housekeeping man walks into my room uninvited to come in I only have a t shirt on!!! Also asked for linens for 3 hours and still haven’t received any!!! Will never waste my money again we didn’t go to Disney this year because of covid and thought this would be ok but no, do not waste your time extremely angry!!!!!! Also there are a lot of changes because of COVID which I asked upon check in and the lady told me no nothing is different beside extra cleaning found out later that was a lie! A lot was unavailable and your rooms had to be requested to clean.

It was great place. The only down is that the water can be a bit cold for a 1year old.

Like any amusement park, this is for kids essentially. Expect over priced souvenirs etc geared towards kids as they are the target. Get over this and see things as they are. The kiddo and I have been twice and love the slides, bowling alley, and arcade. Lifeguards are well trained and vigilant. Wait staff is excellent. Room kept clean.

Great resort for kids. Pools were clean and well guarded. Plenty of activities for kids throughout the day. Unfortunately no babysitting even for an hour or so break and for some reason all the sinks are adult height or no steps provided for kids to step up. Thought it was unusual to have a kid resort designed missing that.

Covid experience....I love that it wasnt over crowded. My family could actually enjoy all the water attractions like the slides multiple times without waiting forever. Would definitely go back but this was our 3rd year so I think we are ready to go somewhere different...Dollywood? Maybe. Overall great experience. I like the wristband that you use to charge credits to and unlocks door. Dont put bracelet on too tight or plastic will irritate arm. Oh and housekeeping doesnt freshing up room during, so you have to call the desk to get fresh towels, I understand that keeps down risk. As far as masking you mask everywhere except during swimming and eating and everyone complied pretty well. Most of the food locations inside are decent for attractions foods, but there is anyplace you could want to ear surrounding this place. Plus they allow outside delivery to the lobby. So food options are not restricted. Dont forget to search Groupon.

Staff was friendly & helpful. Everything was clean & neat. The rooms were recently remodeled & very nice. There was a crowd in the water park but that was expected. The kids loved all the extra stuff there is to do, just be aware that the extras add up $$ quick! But if you sign up to check out before 9:30 am you get a free large locker & a pizza! We enjoyed the water park for several hours after we checked out & then had pizza & ice cream. The kids were worn out but said they had the best time.

GWL never disappoints! The water park is even better now that they use salt water instead of chlorine! I do miss the 3D-Photos they used to do and the Scavenger hunt type game with the build a bear thing. But overall we love it there and go back every year!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and clean! They replaced the carpet and a lot of furnishings. Cant wait to go back!

Great place... Pretty much everything you need in one place!!! Also For a little price you can include a buffet style breakfast.. The arcade is 24 hours, the bathroom inside bear landing(the water park) has dryer to spin dry your clothes..they also offer towels for drying off... If you check out by 9:30 am ... You can be offered a large pizza and a large locker. (Lockers run about $15) so if your early risers this can benefit you..

First time at great wolf lodge. Check in was easy, the room was a good size and comfy. Checked in at 4:30, changed and headed straight to the water park. The kids loved it. I liked that the wave pool wasnt too deep. Laser tag was fun but for $8 a person youd think you could play for more than 5 minutes. The arcade was fun also. Got pizza but they were out of the garlic bread special and it wasnt ever busy. Breakfast the next morning was way way over priced. There was plenty of food but it was not good. The bacon was tasteless, the waffles were as hard as bricks, the made to order omelette was over cooked and the service was lacking. However the grits were awesome. Will not eat there again. $68 for 4 people and one was a kid. Shame. Overall the trip was fun.

Great Wolf Lodge is wonderful. Room was comfortable. Requested a handicap accessible bathroom at time of reservation. Received the suite we requested.Water park was so much fun for all ages. Food was available on site. Prices were good. Parked my car and didnt move it til checked out. Have a good changing room in the water park area so you can stay after checkout. Loved the evergreen smell in the hallways. Plenty to do for all ages with other activities through out the resort. Cant wait to return in March.
