Love this place the staff are so nice and helpful its for great parties such as memorial dinner, baby showers, bridal showers an ect. you can bring your kids they can play while yall having your event in the party room the cost is not expensive starting at $50hrs.

Blackburn Community Center is one of the many community centers in Columbus that are closed on Sundays and on Mondays.I attended a meeting yesterday [3-25-2019] that had been sponsored by the Age-Friendly Columbus program that uses office space in that building to coordinate neighborhood outreach and engagement.The building had been locked [because yesterday had been a Monday] so Age-Friendly Columbus staff people had had to let us into the building.After an extended conversation about accessibility needs related to pedestrians safely using sidewalks and safely crossing streets, we did a brief walk audit in the immediate neighborhood to check the quality of the sidewalks and the curb ramps.

A great place 4 kids of all ages to cone play hangout with friends and they have a great staff and a good boss

The director was kind and pleasant. The place was very clean

The park is very nice and well kept. A nice variety of people in yhe neighborhood. Only drawback was some potty mouth kids from the rec center caused us to leave because I didnt want their vocabulary rubbing off on my 3 year old.

Newly renovated and painted, this recreation center has nice meeting rooms, decent sized weight room, boxing, and a nice basketball court with track around it. On-duty staff are always friendly.

Great facility. Up to date , clean, accommodating, seating. Would enjoy playing there all the time.

The boxing gym there is great good coaches with great experience

I like that they upgraded the gym since when I was growing up. Good boxing program and a safe place for kids to use their idle time. Shout out to Blackburn rec center

Community minded staff. Passionate and focused on the kids. Social skills critical thinking and pride taught thru sports. The kids respond to the love been shown to them.

I think God for Blackburn Recreation Center not only were they great and instrumental in my growth as a man but they protected me as a child fed me and kept me from getting in trouble in the streets I appreciate so much for having Blackburn Recreation Center in my life the last fully recommended to others

Great rec center offering Basketball and boxing staff very nice. Has a summer program and does lots of community events

Very nice gym. My son plays basketball there and the coaches are phenomenal. They love the kids.

Get there early if its an event or it will be no where to park but in front of someone house and then have to walk to the rec center.

Parents need to come with there children..as how your child acts in a public place.

My kids luv this place, theres a park and a water park for them to play at.

The staff is community oriented and committed to teaching our young people the benefits of exercise, socialization and respect.
