Good acoustics, a nice environment. The venue is not terribly large, but the setting and and the environment are great. The prices are overall reasonable. Some great regional shows come through every year. Would also advise those with young children (or those of any age) to check out the black box theatre for smaller children’s shows.

We love our time there! While weve seen three traditional productions there in the past, I have to give major props to their performance of Evil Dead. Outdoor theater has many challenges, but if youll pardon the pun, they killed it!

This is our first time at Springer Opera watching Singing in the rain. I am excited! I cant believe I deprived myself of a local entertainment at this level! Great atmosphere, and very upscale. I will be coming back to more shows.

Its a small community theater, but very quaint and I liked it. Theres a bar area, a gift shop, and in the opened lobby area were beautiful canvas paintings for sale. We went here to see The Great Gatsby, it was a cute production (definitely not Broadway though). The gift shop manager was especially nice to my daughter, he gave her a free event poster. The tickets were also very affordable too for the seats that we had, which were great seats. There is plenty of street parking available too, if you dont mind walking a block or two to the side streets.

Love this place very historical and wonderfully entertaining. You have a great variety here they offer great plays year round and if you want to see what local flavor there is every Friday night theres no shame a small show that offers a place for local entertainment to have there 5 minutes on the stage love it!! Its conveniently located in the downtown area and the architecture in the building is amazing.

Normally I am a huge Springer fan. This time, however , is different. We had looked forward to seeing The Great Gatsby so much. We like to sit in the boxes because of the extra leg room. This time my husband inadvertently bought a box on the second floor. No worries - there are no bad seats in the Springer, right? Wrong. The balcony box allows a view of less than half the stage. Why do they even sell this spot?LATE NOTE: The Great Gatsby was so wonderful that I almost didn’t mind not being able to see it all.
