Wow, all I can say is this little hidden gem is worth a visit. I went with a group of friends to see the Christmas Carol and it was such a great experience. While this is a very small venue, the talent was excellent and entertaining! I was amazed what they were able to do in the small space they had to work with. If you like an intimate theater experience, I highly recommend this theater!

I have been driving past this place for years, and had no clue what was going on inside. I saw Heisenberg in the Fall and Shakepeares Heroines last night, and my partner and I have been impressed. This is professional theatre - in walking distance! Its done up nice inside too. Very cozy. The price was right too! So far, amazing!

I just got back from A Dolls House, Part Two. And I just have to say Wow! Everything about it was stellar. The cast was top notch! After seeing an amateur production of the same play, I can tell you I learned my lesson. Professional theater is worth it. Even the set and costumes were expert in every way. Truly stunning! A+

The building is very shabby and obviously a old gas station or used car dealership. The theater may hold 25 people at best. The host and staff are friendly and courteous but the cost of admission for the play I saw was a robbery. The actors did their best but the script left a lot to be desired. I recommend going to the palace and spend a few extra dollars for something of more value and quality.

A wonderful, intimate little theater. The actors really put their all into every performance, and the production value is impressive in such a small space. It feels great to support local art and watch such talented people perform.

Wonderful, intellectual, highly professional local theater. What a luxury to have it. Beig new to Columbus I just recently discovered it, and have seen two plays, so far. Both were high class serious performances. I am just not sure why only the older audience enjoys it. I would think that the OSU students would be interested. May be they need to be reached?

I have been to at least ten productions at the Civic, and every has been amazing. The best acting Ive seen anywhere in central Ohio. Truly Outstanding. The interior of the theater is cozy with statium seating -- where else do you find that?

A small house, intimate. I love feeling like Im part of the action. The actors were fabulous as well, bringing a difficult Shakespeare piece to life. Would be great acoustics for music as well.

One of the lesser known gems of the Clintonville area, they are a great little theatre company that always puts heart into their performances. If you like live theatre, definitely check them out.

A family-run local theatre that stages important play, both classic and contemporary. The owners rehabbed this former-doggie-daycare/former-Jiffy-Lube into a cozy little space. Its got solid ac/heat and so is comfy during every season. Even better, the seats are super comfy, and the price of admission includes refreshments. Dont miss this little gem. The acting is often top-notch. Support your local live theatre.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem about 6 months ago and regret all the years that have past not knowing of this theater. The space is intimate, the staff is friendly and provides excellent customer care (and tea & cookies!). Weve seen three plays so far and look forward to coming back for the next production. The set design is often simple, allowing the play itself and the actors to be the focus.

I love local theatre and Columbus Civic Theatre did not disappoint. You know the players have done their job when you feel physically awkward sitting in the audience because it seems like you are hearing conversations that should not be aired in public. Bravo on Whos Afraid of Virginia Woolf?!
