Ive lived in Candlelight for five years now. My fiancee and I were looking for a starter home and figured the 8 year lease with an option to purchase would be a good investment in our future.Its true that the rent goes up every year, but thats a fact of life everywhere. The largest increase Ive seen in the last 5 years was $16, and that was this year. to contrast that, my rent actually fell one year when property taxes tanked, but that is not the norm.The neighborhood is diverse and fairly quiet, though there are exceptions. The property managers pick and choose which rules they want to enforce (for example, fireworks are explicitly forbidden, but July 4th and New years are pretty noisy. They also impose lot upkeep rules on residents, but do not enforce them).All in all, Candlelight it is a nice place to live, as long as you are pragmatic and pick your battles.Given that Candlelight Village is a place where the lower-class go, id like so see them reign in their rent costs, but heck, this america, the land of profit. The corporate lords and management staff at Candlelight arent perfect, but they could easily be a whole lot worse.

It used to be nice but its been terribly let go.

Im blessed to have been given a chance to live here. My heart over flows with gratitude! Doug from maintenance is always so responsive and respectful! And the mgmt team has been wonderful! Thank you from the bottom off our hearts!

They are improving the property. Roads need repaved and some parking by the pond would be great. Staff is very nice and laid back. Ive never had an issue. Does have flooding in some areas but other than some things that I mentioned its becoming a nice area.

Do NOT waste you financial or emotional health by moving in here. 2 weeks after promises and a purchase we were told a new company would be allowing renters. None of the promises were kept about our unit. In 4 months our payments (lot and trailer) went up over $120. There is no parking. No maintenance, and flooding constantly. Nobody will honor their word either. The upper Management turns a blind eye to everything.

My experience was not so good. My ex sister-in-law lives there an has for the last 9years. An they are so picky about there yards. An they fine you if you dont comply with their wishes. An if u want tree removal you got to pay for it urself even if it poses a threat to other trailers around. An they ride your butt if you have pets. An threaten to evict ur pet if you brake their rules. An they call the animal control on you if it gets loose. An they added money to her account even though she wasnt behind a month. Over all I wouldnt recommend these trailers to anyone at all. I rate it poor business manners.

Over priced lots and not that good service in office.

Candlelight village is overpriced and undermaintenanced. The roads have huge holes in them that will tear the wheels off of ur car and the trailers are infested with mold and dilapidated health hazards.

Not too bad of a place as long as ypu have clean neighbors

Candlelight has came a long way from 2 years ago. They are cleaning up and making it a great place to raise a family.

New Management theyre cleaning it up better than Canterbury House Apartments management.

Roads are horrible with hot pot holes also there are people there that need to be made to clean up around their house as they have trash or other things scattered all over the yard Im not complaining about toys Im talking about actual trash if left to its own it will become like the backside of country squire lakes in North Vernon

800 to 1200 per month for a trailer in a trailer park hahaha

The homes are incredibly over priced for the location of these properties

Pretty good place to live

Over priced homes,poor services and try sale junk..they fix it up till 30 days over then your SOL

I guess its not too bad like I mentioned in my past posting. I just wish that they would hire someone that cut the grass and not the trees and plants that we plant on our lots.

They keep it up better than Canterbury Apartments right across the street

My experience working with the staff at Candlelight Village has been exceptional.

They stole my car and expected me to buy it back. Thieves. Awful soulless monsters that will take advantage of anyone they can. Avoid at all cost. They will make you pay way more than the agreed upon amount.

We paid off out trailer 2 years ago and still havent got a title for it. so we are stuck here and cant sell it or move it. management changes every month and no one can tell us why we dont have a title yet. all they tell us is they will talk to corporate and will not give us the number to call our selves. very bad place to live.

Nobody ever gets the speed limit can get lost easy if you dont know where youre going and Ive seen a lot of things there that should not be seen by anyone ever

Not a safe neighborhood, huge speed bumps were put in before they fixed the huge pot holes . I dont think they run criminal history checks on potential residents

One of the ladies that works in the office is very rude , abuses of her position in the office and has done some shady things...

Bad management, a lot of picky citations, the place has a dangerous vibe after the stabbing and shooting from a few years ago and the man that was chased by police right outside our home.

Its a trailer park!
