Just moved to Columbus and just finished my second class with hashtag comedy. I can honestly wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to have a lot of fun, meet some great people and push their comfort zone. Sarah and Alex have been fantastic teachers and its a wonderful community of people to get involved with.

Sarah and Alex have been incredible instructors. From laying foundational aspects of improv in level 1 and advanced concepts and applicable lessons in level 2. Looking back, I realize how well they built a foundation of trust and comfort with those in the class which breaks down barriers our personal egos tend to put up. This environment allows all involved to participate in games actively and freely which in turn accelerates learning, builds friendships, and accentuates the innate talents each student has.Its important to know, and was to my surprise, that my fellow students joined for a lot of different reasons and are at different points in life. Its not ALL people that want to be in comedy or acting or that were in Drama in Highs School. Its everybody from everywhere. Go see a show or two, join level 1 and break up the monotony of your weekly routine. Feel free to reach out to me if you have questions from a recent grad of Level 1 and Level 2.

The group was funny and Shadowbox Lives Up Front Bistro was a lovely venue as always.

Best improv in town!!

Signing up for Hashtag Comedy Improv classes is one of the best decisions I’ve made. I took level 1 with Sarah Storer on a limb and it was such a confidence booster! Some of the techniques and games learned in Level 1 helped me professionally, including learning people’s names more effectively! After having a blast in Level 1, I signed up for Level 2 with Alex Lefeld and learned to dig deeper with smaller groups with really fun scene work. I enjoyed collaborating with the people in my classes and felt supported by everyone despite having no prior experience. Hashtag really made me appreciate improv on a new level, and I want to continue learning about the art! Thank you both for helping me branch out of my comfort zone!

Improv is so much fun and Sarah, Alex and Paul are the best! Even if you have no experience (like me) with Improv, they will meet you at your level and support you through every step!

I really enjoy #hashtagcomedy. They are thoughtful, professional and funny. I love the game they play where the audience writes down things and they stick the sayings in their pockets. So funny. Also my favorite line Ive ever heard was at a hashtag show...
