I have had the pleasure of not only directing a show at MadLab, but seeing a show there as well. MadLab is one of a kind, and very close knit. They do a lot of great shows that you normally wouldnt see at a bigger theater in Columbus, with locally written shows being performed as well. They are usually doing something every week, so find ways to get involved or see a show!

A pretty intimate setting for Theatre

They put on pretty high quality plays. It can be hit or miss, so I do recommend a look at the reviews that can be found on Columbus Underground or in Columbus Alive before going. Generally the acting is very good, the plays are entertaining, and the atmosphere is pretty down to earth.Theater roulette can be a very enjoyable experience I would bet that you are very likely to laugh out loud at some point in the evening should you check on out.

Amazing performances and storylines for the theater roulette. The castings could not have been better fitting for the actors, and they all did very well! Definitely will return and would recommend.

The best local semi-pro theatre and improv in town. Go here when you want to see something original and not a tribute or overseen play or gimmick. Also, its super cheap compared to most places in town, so its worth the low-dough cost to see something you cant see anywhere else in town.

Takes risks and mounts New Works in a small, intimate 75 seat black box.Consistently churns out both dramas and comedies in their full season, and home to well known annual shorts festival Theatre Roulette for adult playwrights, and Young Writers for high school playwrights.Ive never seen a show at MadLab that I didnt want to keep talking about at the bar across the street. Always something new here.

The date night show is fun and hilarious. Highly recommend the experience and so reasonably priced. The staff/cast are so friendly.

This was my first time here. Went for the F*** Cancer show - had an absolute blast! What a great little venue with well performed acts. Ill be back again for sure!

Extremely expensive tickets for shows with technical problems, cheap costuming and weak acting. Disappointing; other community theaters would be a better way to spend money and time.

Great home for new works and experimental theatre. Super supportive of the CBus theatre community as a whole.
