We had a group party here and the staff were so amazing! We all were new to archery so we did an introductory lesson and then range time. Frank and Theresa were wonderful instructors and really took the time to teach us the proper fundamentals to set us up for success. 10/10 experience and I think I found a new hobby. Thanks guys!

The people there were very nice and personable. If you dont have your own bow, the rental prices are excellent. The range is nice and offers up to about 30 yard shots, plenty of room. Highly recommend for a nice indoor place to get shots.

So much fun! I chose this spot for a date idea and I am so glad I did. The owners- Frankie and Teresa- are so kind and welcoming. We received instruction from Frankie. He was very patient and thorough in his explanation. He taught us proper technique, safety, and watched our form before moving on to the range. I appreciated this a lot as I had never been to an archery range before. Luckily, you can rent a bow there and the prices were fair. Highly recommend for your next date idea. We will be going back. Had a great time. the woman instructor was very nice and explained very well.

Booked my sons birthday party there. Not one to leave negative reviews but didn’t end up checking out the place because the reviews were all great. That was not a good decision. The range is very dirty and not well kept. I was embarrassed to have family and friends come. The party was also not organized. I was told they would have no problem hosting a large group. 8 kids and 12 adults to shoot. The adults ended up not shooting. It took 45 minutes to get organized before the kids even got to shoot one target. The lady instructor was not very patient or kind. I would not recommend to have a party here...for sure go check it out before you book.

One of the most friendliest people you will ever meet. It really felt like family, learned about their business and their family all in an hour and enjoyed every bit of it. Thereesa was so helpful in teaching us the basics and making sure our technique was right while promoting safety. I loved this place and will go every time I get the opportunity. Special shout to to THELMA the amazing dog.

Be considerate enough to have the correct hours of operation posted on here and on your website!! Drove all the way out there and the sign on the door said closed on Mondays- on here and on your website it said youre open 2pm-8pm on Mondays! Get it together people!

I’ve had several lessons and have had the opportunity to try out different types of bows at different distances. It is a very laid back atmosphere with people that just want to help you be a better archer. Definitely give them a chance, you’ll find it’s well worth it!

I took my grandson to this indoor range. They taught him stance, correct posture and how to aim to hit the target. They have a small room for beginners to build up their confidence. Reasonably prices and very nice folks

The staff was very nice and helpful. The owners wife took time (quite a bit actually) to show my daughters how to line up and prepare to shoot better and achieve greater accuracy. The building theyre in has some mildew issues, but I doubt most people will notice. I just have horribly sensitive allergies. Were going to sign up for lessons despite my allergies as they were really helpful & prices were reasonable.

Ive always loved the thought of archery and so I signed up for a private lesson. It was one of the best experiences Ive ever had with an instructor. They take their time with you and are incredibly patient and positive during the entire lesson. After one lesson Im hooked! Thank you velocity!!

Velocity Archery Range is a great place to hone your archery skills or to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow for the first time. The owners are greatly helpful in guiding new people in how to hold and shoot a bow and arrow. The facility itself is simple but has a nice range of distances (7-30 yards), challenges (shoot from ground floor, balcony, etc.), and targets (both paper and animal figures). I would absolutely, and plan to, visit again!

This was my first time with a bow an arrow (as well as my 87 year old fathers). The owners were fabulous and spent time with us and helped us where we needed it. They will also make sure you have the right bow with the tension set correctly for you. We are so glad we tried this and will be back for sure!! It is a great for all ages and even for us first timers :)

Went for information and ended up signing up for classes. My instructor was patient and encouraging. I loved the experience and plan to continue. Highly recommend to beginners.

I just did this one time with some friends and completely enjoyed myself. They offer private lessons as well as just a practice range. They rent out equipment and are great teachers to those who are new to archery. I actually found out that Im right handed but left eye dominate . would go again

I dont know how else to explain besides that this place is awesome! We moved here from Virginia and my 9 year old hasnt shot in a year now. Teressa is so super nice and has helped Maddox since we got here. He is so excited to find a range that is so impressive. Its worth every bit of the 35 min drive from Pataskala. My boyfriend and I were looking for something different to do on date night rather than our typical dinner and a movie gig. We were originally going to check out a nearby gun range but found that my dress would not pass their standards due to being a little lowcut. However, I had bookmarked Velocity a few weeks prior and we decided to check it out. Thankfully it was right up the road! It is a little tiny place and we almost missed it but we are so glad we went. The owners were super nice (the dog was really cute, too!) and the gentleman was very helpful and concise in his explanation since I had never done archery before. It was even more fun than I had anticipated and I even got to surprise my boyfriend with my natural talent. We had such a good time and we will definitely be going back!

After leaving a less-than-stellar review, I was contacted by Amy, the manager. She offered us another date to come out and even offered to teach my wife and I personally. We were happy to have TJ instruct us in our first experience with a bow and he was absolutely awesome. The way he broke up the lesson to build on skills quickly was perfect. We had a blast! We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend Velocity for anyone wanting to give archery a try, or if youre looking for a great place to practice. Sometimes its easy for a business to look good when you offer a fun product, but theyre reluctant to fix a perceived problem. The best businesses are able to tackle any customer challenge, and Velocity really set the example for how to take care of customers in my case. Well done, all.

Great archery range with friendly staff, top notch instructors and a great set up inside.Ive been to Velocity to practice, take lessons and also participate in the 3D tournaments and have always been very pleased with my experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to work on their bow skills.

Excellent indoor range with A/C (or heat in the winter) both 20 and 30 yard shooting lines as well as balcony shooting. 3D targets as well. Frank and Threesa were super friendly and accommodating with both open range time and pro-shop support. Well definitely stop by if were in the area.

We had a great experience at Velocity this past weekend. It was my sons bday wish and Theresa made us feel welcome and comfortable the moment we stepped in the door. She was fabulous with our kids and made our time there memorable. Our family cannot wait to return. Thanks Velocity!

Nice indoor range with two levels of shooting. Facility well lit and temperature was great.

When I moved to Grove City, I needed a place to shoot my bow on a regular basis and keep up with the archery world. Ive been coming here for a few years now and really enjoy the customer service and all they have to offer. Ive also learned more skills from the instructors and they have helped me grow as an archer.

I booked an appointment with this place after missing the point because I didnt realize the date they told me I wwas not going to be reimbursed because I should be more of an adult and keep track of my appointments lol so I have no reviews on the actual lessons but the customer service is terrible and they still have not reimburse me my money I strongly suggest no one ever goes to this place or try and book an appointment for the same day
