Its a one field park.doesnot seem to be much else but i think for a city looking to balance ethnicity and tecreate more fiscal diverse and more interim wealth that this area could be whats needed to bring in a better park area for ballplayers and sponsers baseball soft ball broom ball etc tennis courts and fitness center thats for profit also indoor pool and sports rec inside . Newer and very much an attraction for patk goers and there children swingsetts and slides as well as jungle gym like structures for the young to older chidrens areas revamped park and picnic areas to sett fuure city run holiday celebrations and maybe a lilly putt 36 hole mecca around the new futuristic and revitalization of the pass gone generations traditions and atteactions with food placesc added to generate $$ around the outlining park concessiins and muni would be the future or just dump the whoke shabang to lowincome green card citizins through ins idk who am i to say the columbia heights hill top is a scab on the back side unatainable hennipen cnty area.. or just leave it to die and then pave it over to a structure for the people of the city of ramsey cause thats a brand newer facilitys and councilmans night mare come through im a local guide that 9 level but given j got screwedto stay as level8 guide reviewer reporting to jan n jon publix and google mapps as me the man that motos dRsWaNsOn nobody and none to say no hes not F,U

This park has a great splash pad for early childhood and elementary. The playground is newer and on the larger size. There are places on the playground that are high off the ground. Also they have swings!

Went to see fireworks here for the Heights jamboree. They always have a nice show and great visibility without it being too crowded or having to park and walk some crazy distance. Sure Minneapolis has bigger displays but Ill stick with a great local show and less chaotic atmosphere. If I was dragging kids I would love it even more since its so much less hassle and not so long they lose interest. Sometimes bigger isnt better.

Very clean park full of families. Youll see people picnicking, biking, playing in the sprinklers and just relaxing on the grass. Everyone is respectful and cleans up after themselves. Police stroll through intermittently to ensure safety and if your lucky the ice cream man will make a stop.

We had the union picnic here. So it was not exactly the normal quiet park but a nice clean open space that allowed us to have fun. It looks like a great park during normal times but when rented out to us a fun place where all the beer was prepaid and the company was good.

Huset Park is in Columbia Heights. Walked by it on Wednesday in a miny Blizzard. Winter skating has a little bridge to go under. During the warm days of summer there is softball games or Baseball. In June there is the Jamboree fest. With the portable circus setting up on Jefferson Street that splits the park into East Huset and West Huset Rental of the building that over looks Huset which is on the North side. Small parking lot beside the playground. Nice City Park

This review is ONLY for the fireworks display as part of festivities of the Heights Jamboree, the annual summer festival of the City of Columbia Heights organized by the Lions Club of Columbia Heights. The fireworks display is arguably the best fireworks display in the Twin Cities for such a small inner-ring suburb. In my opinion it easily surpasses the Independence Day fireworks from Minneapolis. The reason for my rating is because of the close proximity a spectator can get to where the fireworks are being fired from. In addition, the event is still easily accessible and not crowded with cars or people. But most importantly, the variety of fireworks is impressive in terms of how high or low they explode, the frequency and number of the fireworks, and the choreography of the explosions combined with the different types of fireworks (color, explosion pattern, special sound or visual effects). It truly is quite a spectacle to behold and a wonderful way to end a beautiful summer day.

Oh yeah, Pavilion playground grilling spaces swings gigantic numerous slide castle. Hiset Park has all that, its also right next to Murzyn Hall. There are athletic fields and open grass faces everything youd ever want for a giant picnic. Columbia Heights has a lot of community events here. I guess you could say its our main Park. Oh, we should also mention the gigantic pretty much two year old splash pad. The new modern equivalent alternative 2 a kiddie pool. So I should take some photos of this place and will tomorrow. Probably shoot a video of the kids at the splash pad so that everybody can know what one is really like. Its a lot more mentally interesting and challenging and interactive for kids. I just bloody hope that they either use new water or filter heavily what water they do use. Something, referred to as lawsuit, tells me that they use new water. But its the biggest splash pad Ive seen outside of a paid water park. So I guess you could say, Huset Park, has everything but a lake. I dont think theres a lake in Columbia Heights.

Great park for any fresh air you might need. There is a basketball court, five baseball/softball diamonds (one adult sized, the rest kid/kickball/wiffleball sized), a splash pad, sand volleyball court, and two fields that we play football on every week. We take the dogs here pretty consistently and there are always people around the park. Very safe area too.
