My son has been benched almost the entire season, including out of state tournaments that weve spent our time and money to go to. If they didnt need him in Kansas, they couldve saved me some trouble by telling me that. Hes been a contributor to the only two games this team has so far won all season, and has been told that he is one of the few kids who actually seems to want to be there. This doesnt make sense. When he asks for constructive criticism, hes told he cant ask to play. This is a losing team. Theyve lost almost every single game, yet the coaches havent bothered to coach on weaknesses, offer constructive criticism or change the lineup and strategy after losses. Hes told that the money I paid for him to be there wasnt for him to play baseball, it was for him to wear the uniform (so why did the uniform cost extra?). There are no practices, only punishments for losing (running, bear crawls, etc.) and Im at a loss to understand how these kids improve without practice...ever. The scrimmages they have get cut short because the coaches dont feel that COVID regulations apply to them and schedule too many kids on the field at once, causing scrimmage to be ended over an hour early once they are caught. This team is full of favoritism and bullying and the coaches arent on the same page. I spent thousands of dollars for my child to be coached and what he got was a glorified gym membership. I cant speak to the organization about not being provided the services I paid for (actual coaching by professionals) because the boys are warned that if mommy and daddy complain about anything, they will definitely be benched the remainder of the season. To be entirely fair, we almost didnt put him in CBA originally because the coaches were extremely rude and unprofessional at tryout and wed seen all the poor ratings on Yelp. We ended up deciding to try it out because some baseball is better than no baseball. Boy, were we wrong. My son is not the only child experiencing this, several of his teammates have shared this experience. Hes also not the only child to quit the team early, which hes never done before and we never thought we would support after spending thousands of dollars toward it. The truth is, our money is wasted whether he goes or not at this point, so there isnt any sense in wasting any more of our time toward this organization. Its a scam and unless you enjoy throwing money out the window, do yourself a favor and make your kid do bear crawls and sprints in the back yard for free.My son has since had one practice under a coach that was fired by Lockett from CBA and has already had more work put into correcting his batting than hes had the entire season with Coach Taylor from CBA.

Top notch instruction and people who care about the development of your kid. If youre looking for a place where your player can get back what they put in, this is it.

Very unprofessional organization, not to mention their lack of communication. If you are looking for a league for your child to be part of, look else where.

This indoor baseball facility has plenty of room to run a full practice. Two full size hitting lanes and two soft toss lanes provide plenty of room for our entire team to take advantage of. In addition to this, there is a full size bullpen lane for our pitchers to work in too. The facility has a large team room big enough for a team, chalk talk, or for my teams parents to sit and watch television while waiting for their players. After our hitting practice, all of the lanes collapsed and we were able to run an infield practice as well.

Very unprofessional owners, they are looking for money more than teaching kids baseball. Would not recommend.

The coaching staff at CBA is AMAZING! They run a structured T-Ball program with my 4 year old son that I couldnt be more impressed with. Every practice is organized with a specific goal to teach them the fundamentals of baseball. The coaching staff is PATIENT and ENCOURAGING to the players. During the practices, the coaches to players ratio is about 1 to 5 and at times 1 to 3; the boys get individual help on the different aspects of the game no matter their level or experience.Because the complex is indoors, we been able to play tball twice a week for just over 6 weeks; it is the highlight of my sons week. The staff is always prepared with a smile and a hot cup of coffee upon your arrival at the complex. The viewing area for parents has space for a family to finish up dinner, work on homework with a big sister or just enjoy the smiles and laughter of our kids playing from the stands.Coach Ken has an incredible patience for our young players and a clear love of the game that he is passing on to the kids! He keeps the kids on task and focused for the hour of practice and their games with a positive attitude while providing positive feedback to the kids. As a mother and teacher of young kids, I couldnt be more impressed with the T-Ball Program at CBA! I am amazed at how much my 4 year old son has learned about baseball and how excited he is to go every week! I would recommend this program to anyone interested in having their child learn the love of baseball through Colorado Baseball Academy.
