This park is very nice place full of beautiful trees. It has a beautiful walking trail. Very quiet. In the fall it was all covered by leaves. Natures beauty at its best. Amazing experience every time when we go there. It has a lot of seating arrangements, benches in different places. Very relaxing to sit and enjoy nature.

It was very clean. I rented the pavillion for the day for a birthday party. There is no playground but the kids went to the school playground to play when they werent walking the trail.

A nice place for a walk. It also appears that there is a lot of camping and picnicing here based on the way the upper part of the suite is arranged.

Its always clean; Ive been bringing my sons here since they were 2, always something to do and wide open spaces, its where they learned to ride their bike, we love it!

Great scenic trails, and plenty of places to hangout and enjoy the weather. Not the best place to go if youre mainly interested in running trail tho, the biggest circuit through the trails I found was about .33 miles.

Love the Gt. Clifton Arts and Crafts Festival every year! Been an exhibitor for many, many years!

Went for the Fort Clifton festival. Nice park. Plenty of paths to explore, beautiful lake. Nice band stand.

The festival vendors for most part were great, except snow cone people were rude and dont know how to cue drink orders properly. Definitely need to learn how to create more handicap parking. The shuttle system is a legal nightmare waiting to happen when you cram 30 people in to a 12 seat bus and I am certain the bus drivers were not CDL endorsed. Next time I go, will get there early and control my own parking situation. Also, place a shuttle pickup station in the lower parking lot so elderly and handicap dont have to climb that hill to the upper lot.

I like walking around the paths and enjoying all the nature. Its also I nice place to go fishing.

Not extensive, but a nice mix of habitats, including forest, marsh and river. One of just a handful of birding spots in the independent city of Colonial Heights.

I am a vendor at the festival. Lots of people walking around not many buying. There are pony rides and other kid activities and 135 craft vendors.

Colonial Heights needs to invest some money in cleaning up the trails and modernizing the bathrooms. Holds a lot of potential that has yet to be tapped.
