So we were between 2/4 stars. 2 because play set is not any fun for a kids ages 8 and up. 4 stars because splash pad / doggy park/ picnic tables /play set for younger kids. Needs more play things aimed at older kids . So I decided a 3 star was appropriate.

This is a magnificent park that I didnt even know existed before today. Great for kids and even has a splash pad and dog park in addition to a covered pavilion, 2 ball fields and a soccer area as well. Will be back!

Beautiful park, underutilized because of location..we love dog park and it has new agility challenges for your pet!

The dog park seems neglected, most likely the reason I was the only one there on a Saturday morning (usually the busiest time for dog parks). It’s a nice space but there is dog waste and trashed toys laying around. No shovels etc for people to use to pick up after their dogs, though there are bags. The rest of the park seems great.

Great recreational space for those that want to get out and play some baseball or softball. There is a dog park thats fenced and plenty of open space to lay out a blanket and chill. For the history lover the park is directly in the center of a previous civil war battle and you may find local tours giving the history of the battle from this vantage point.

One of the workers here is a racist, happily waving hello and goodbye and talking to anyone, but as soon as my Muslim friend and her family came by, hed glare at them distrustfully and not say a word, basically ignoring them until they were gone. Its incredible how some people can still live in the past where this sort of this was OK. This makes it a lot less likely for me to ever visit an area like this.

It sucked. They dont controll the park right kids are still going around spraying people. They sprayed my baby brother. Smh. Retards

I love this place! When I first moved to this area it was the people that come to this park that made me and my dog feel welcome. There is plenty of parking. There is a updated playground area for kids, two baseball fields, seperate fenced in (off leash) dog park for both big and little sized dogs, covered picnic areas, water park for (summer use,) open fields and public bathrooms. The public rest rooms are heated in winter and cooled in summer and open/available ALL YEAR long. The dog parks have clean running water fountains so you dont have to bring your own water. Except in to winter the city shuts off the water due to freezing (so you have to bring your own water jugs for your dogs.) re. The people that come here are amazing. They truely are good hearted and friendly. They control their dogs well in the dog park, so there are no unruly dogs and most likely you wont have any bad experiences here.

My dog loves the off- leash area and it was very nice. They have an area for dogs under 25 lbs and then an adjacent but separate area for larger dogs. I will be bringing my dog back as she loved it.

Suggs is off the beaten path and a little older (the playground is dated and could use a pain job) but is quiet and not near any major roads (which is great when your kids like to run out into the street). Its got a free and unfenced splash park, basball fields, a nice dog park, and covered picnic areas.

The park itself is fine, but i am very disappointed with the staff. the gatekeeper was incredibly racist and kept glaring at my muslim friend along with her family from a distance; as well as greeting others and telling them goodbye but ignoring their family, despite the fact they had nothing but been polite to him. i suggest fixing this problem with your biggot staffs attitude.
