Often muddy. Irrigation is spotty. Holes in field. Turf unfinished. Trees are well placed and maintained.

Pre-Game tailgating at its best!

It is just a field. I gave it 5 stars because I dont have much experience in rating fields. But this is a 5 star field if Ive ever seen one.

Tailgate for the Ol Miss game. Simpson is a great place with the Bell Tower chiming out War Hymn all morning it was awesome

The second it rains, your feet will sink 4 inches into the muddy earth. It got so bad that they put mulch over certain areas but that didnt fix much. A ton of people use this place for tailgating because its in the middle of campus and right by Kyle field.

Watching Final Review

I prefered having fish and Final review on Simpson Drill Field because as parents we get to be a little closer and can see better than having it in Kyle field.

Muddy mess, but we were able to watch A&M beat LSU at a very friendly tailgate! Gig em!

Simpsons drill feild is one of the decent places on campus. You will have a good view of the bell tower, academic building, kyle feild, MSC. It is also the place where the University busses have their stops.

Needs repair but it won’t get done w/so much construction around it.

Im not sure what there is to review about this, but there was a fair about of grass and it was pretty flat, so I guess it fulfills its name requirement

Other than football-game march-ins at Kyle Field and step-off at the quad, the drill field is the place to see the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, particularly Final Review in the spring.

Nice grass to have a picnic!
