My family has been coming here for 36 years and it is the home of so many wonderful vacation memories for me. My family owns a few of the units during one particular week through timeshare and its been the perfect place for us as children and adults to spend vacation over the years. The rooms still need some updating, but its the location and beautiful beach front and outdoor pool that help make this place so special.

Just wanted to say we just came back from Fort Myersbeach and it doesnt compare to your place. We stayed with you in about 2007 and our familys memories of your place is the BEST!! We hope to come back soon,you all were so nice,beautiful setting. We talk about our visit with you all to everyone

Lovely quaint older motel. Single level. Has a hot tub, pool, outdoor shower to rinse off, its perfect on the beach.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights on the back of a 7 night holiday in Miami, and although Miami was great, we kind of wish wed stayed here the whole 12 nights. This place is quiet, beautiful, ON THE BEACH and John and his wife were the best hosts - welcoming, made you feel like you were in your own home, just fantastic. Rooms had fans, A/C, a huge fridge and cooking area, and were really cute. There were more than enough parking spots outside, and most local amenities were about a 5 minute drive up the road. If you want a quiet, romantic get away where you can walk out your room and onto the beach, this is the place for you. Cant rate it highly enough and will definitely return!

We stayed here overnight for my mother’s birthday. We one bedroom with a pull out couch and a kitchenette. The back door overlooks the other units pool and beach. The view this morning was breathtaking! I would recommend this to anyone!

Like having your own home right on the beach. Affordable, clean, weve been coming here for about 15 years, one of our children were married here on the beach. We love it !!

This is a very nice small quite and eclectic, old fashioned, Florida Style Hotel. Actually more like bungalos. It is hard to describe, it is reminiscent of the old days, when I was a kid, and it is perfectly clean and maintained and John is a fantastic property manager. He takes great pride in his patrons good experience. If it is of interest, there are nice handpicked, handmade, artistic items to see & enjoy spread all around the property. This property is small, as are the surrounding properties, and as a result, this specific beach area is not crowded, which is a great asset. Bottom line, if youre looking for a small friendly relaxing Beach experience, and a well-managed property you cant get much better than this

Nice little Keys style resorts, John and Sherry are the Inn keepers and they are wonderful. Right on the Atlantic ocean in Cocoa Beach, rooms with kitchens. John will probably cook for you as well, makes a awesome steak!

Great small and quiet place to stay. We enjoyed our place. Directly on the beach. We were the only ones using the pool. Everyone was great. John even got us firewood for a fire. Awesome place!!

This lovely, homey, retro-beach-motel style resort is our little piece of heaven, a hidden treasure that used to house scientists and astronauts back in the day. John and Sherry are just the sweetest people and very accommodating and gracious to their guests. We discovered this place last August, by chance, spotted it while driving past, did a U-ie, and fell right in love with it. Its quiet, private, comfy and right on the beach. All of the rooms have kitchens. There is a hot tub and a lovely, warm pool. Every time we go, we dont want to leave, and every time we leave, we cant wait to go back. Delightful!

What a wonderful and inexpensive place to stay! So hospitable and friendly. We come back time after time to relax right on the ocean and explore the city of cocoa. The rooms are always clean and fresh smelling. The design of the old style Florida makes it truly exquisite. We will forever remember this place. Nice retro option for staying on the beach. Heated pool. They have a spa. John and Sherrie are the very nice people that run the resort. Its low-key and casual, which is very nice and relaxing. Great location down from the middle of Cocoa Beach. Not crowded on the beach. Walk the beach to one of the many local bars and have a drink.

This place has both typical room rental as well as time share rooms, originally sold in the 1980s. We stay for a week in a time share owned by a friend who inherited it from her mother. We have been coming since 2012 and have become friends with John and Sherri as well as several other regular families who come on the same week each year. We come to enjoy not only the beach but also the sense of belonging. John and Sherri work very hard to make sure people have a great experience.

IF I COULD RATE THEM 100 STARS I WOULD IN A HEART BEAT!!!!!!! Best place if you are looking for a small quiet and relaxing place. Pool is always open and right on the beach. Great price and the customer service is so amazing words can not even begin to explain it. Will be coming back very soon. :)

10 people in our group w 5 kids age 3-16. Two rooms. Had a blast! Definitely going back real soon! Sherrie and John are live in managers and go above and beyond to accommodate everyone not the Ritz but charming and quaint ocean front fun w pool and hot tub. Kids enjoyed feeding the bunnies and curly tail lizards.

Quaint and friendly. The staff is excellent. Preferable to the large-scale hotels and resorts. I felt like I was at home. I highly recommend staying here whenever you come to Cocoa Beach!

Really great location, close enough to the tourist shops and restaurants in town but far enough out to have the beach mostly to yourself. Small, clean rooms with a stove and a refrigerator. Nice heated pool. Very friendly owners. Right on the water, beach is almost literally right outside your door. Cant wait to get back!

Old facilities, but in working order. Good service. The manager and his wife are very nice people. They care, and it shows. They have a heated pool and a jacuzzi. Relatively low prices. Great deal.

It is a very retro style Florida Motel. Its right on the ocean has a great pool also. The colors of the motel make you feel like youre in Florida and the very nice Landscaping also. Great staff ample parking. Nice quiet Road also.

Lovely! It was quiet when we visited. Waves were quite rough so paddling not really suitable for very young children. But the older kids loved it !

We love it so much we bought a time share here. The managers are super friendly and will do what they can to make you feel at home. The beach is incredible, and extremely accessible. The rooms are modest (old time Florida motel) but clean and comfortable. Cant wait to return in a couple of months!

We are enjoying our one month stay at our efficiency apt which is a short walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub is heated and very enjoyable.

Nice little place. Great for a night

Sherrie and John are the most amazing persons. From the moment you book your vacation or weekend getaway and the moment you arrive they make you feel so welcomed. This small resort is cute, well taken care of, close to restaurants, coffee places and shops.They have a pool overlooking the ocean and a jacuzzi. Amazing sunrise.

My girlfriend and I stayed that the Cocoa Beach Island Resort last weekend. We loved this laid back place. Its like old Florida. The rooms were great and the view out our sliding glass door of the beach and ocean was wonderful. We could have spent twice as much in Cocoa Beach, but we couldnt have had such a relaxing time. The manager and attentive staff were great. Were now planning on a get together of several friends there, soon.

One of the best places to stay in Cocoa Beach! My wife and I have been to Beach Island resort many, many times. A true family friendly place, it sports a relaxed atmosphere, and a wonderful beach! The rooms are decorated in old Florida style decor, with great service! We were sad to hear that Wayne and Fran retired, they are true friends of our family, and were instrumental in helping us get moved down here. We used to vacation here from Iowa, coming here once or twice a year when we could. A++++

Great place to be, quiet, relaxing. Excellent attention and customer service from the management. Owners are exceptional persons, they would go the extra mile for the client. Myself and my whole family enjoyed being there.

This place is awesome. the owners are extremely nice great people. They really came through. We had our son attend space camp for the week and they made it a really outstanding memory for all of us. Thank you for embedding such a great memory for our son. History fact about this place, This resort has been here since the start of the space program back when it first started So, long story short, all the astronauts actually stayed here as well. Its good to be staying at such a historic location.

The atmosphere is nice and the units are clean- however, they have not repaired things that have been broken in the two years since weve been here! If I were an owner here, Id be pretty mad. Maintenance fees are for maintaining property...doesnt look like much maintaining has been going on.

The location of this place is great. It is only a few steps to the pool and then and few more steps and you are on the beach. South of the busiest area of town so a car is needed. Rooms are old and dated. Had a bad smell when we walked in and never really went away. Had trouble with the shower but management came and fixed it right away. Owners live on the property and were always around to help. We booked for the beach access and it was perfect.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY! Rooms are within a few feet to the beach and there is a fantastic view of the ocean and Cape Canaveral. Its a great location to watch space launches from the Kennedy Space Center. Its also abouy an hours drive to the amusement parks in Orlando. Each unit has an efficiency kitchen, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. There is also a pool and a hot tub. The staff is very friendly. Overall this is a great place to stay. My family has been going there for several years, and we highly recommend it.

Rented an alpartment here. It is located directly at the beach and that makes this appartment great. The appartment is clean and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and help you out right away. There are enough stores and restaurants in the neighbourhood. You do need a car though.

This is not a resort, there are 20 outdated cabanas, wore out mattresses and has a shower that is maybe 20 x 20. A large person cannot even get in the bathroom. Everytime we left there was no parking when we got back. Everyone there seemed to be local people just visiting with each other not actually guests and the quite time was not observed. We heard people outside our window talking at 3 in the morning. It is on the beach but you arent allowed to take a resort chair on it to sit in. Who travels with a chair so sitting on the beach isnt an option. Like I said this place looks like it was built in the 50s and has not been updated. All the pictures show the rooms opening up to the beach view and that is not the case, when we checked in we complained that was misleading and were told to leave that he did not want us staying there although reservations were already made and we had driven 2 days to get here. We stayed 3 days and while there our back door had to be replaced because it wouldnt lock, the shower had no hot water and continued parking problems. This is not a resort........

Its pretty well located next to the beach, even though is an old hotel, it is clean and safe. Loved the pool. The owner is very kind and it is closed to shops, gas stations and restaurants. Nice place!

Cocoas hidden gem

Another fabulous week for our family of 15......4 families....kids age 3 to 19 from Des Moines, Iowa. This is our 2nd July and we do love it! Clean and practical...kitchenettes perfect for breakfast and lunch.We eat suppers locally..lots of choices. Pool is big and lots of fun after a day on the beach.....only a few feet away ! Well be back !!

Will now only stay at chain reputable place the on-site management Wayne and fran are nothing short of trailer trash. told manager. about maid begged money for her cab fare she cried amd told my husband amd I if she didnt pay cabbies she would go to jail we felt bad and helped her along later she approached husband told him I didnt treat him rights and sje could do better he came to and told me about it we went to the management tje told us. To avoid her I saw more professionalism at motel 6 gross gross. Gross

Loved staying here. Saved us so much on spending. Full kitchen and extras...right on the beach you dont even have to leave the resort.

I just waited out front for pizza but the hotel looked really nice. I want to stay there next time Im around the area.

My family has been vacationing at BIR for about 25 years, we love it! A charming throw back to 50 years ago, it is super family friendly and steps from an incredible and huge beach. Site managers John and Sherrie Tomlinson are so helpful, hard working and kind - they do their utmost to make this a great place to stay.

Theyre like little cottages and you got your own private beach the rooms are a little small but you get cooking utensils and get stove dishwasher and its big enough for anybody and the people that run it they keep it very very clean and it does beat the Hilton
