I love the variety of this store! They have things Ive been looking for for years, right down to Gibeon meteorites and Tyrannosaurus Rex teeth. They also have a vast collection of mineral specimens, fossils and natural oddities, and childrens gifts to excite them in the field of paleontology. This store is overall the best place to go looking for additions to a rock, fossil and/or natural curiosity collection when travelling conventions turn up scarce.

Great experience at the museum. They have an arcade area to play in, live snakes and gators, and their store is amazing. They have beautiful stones and rocks you can purchase.

Such a wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the exhibits were astounding! Lots of knowledge to be gained here, and the shop has so many wonderful pieces to buy. If youre into prehistoric learning, you wont regret it. Its really cool for adults too; its not just a kids museum. Highly recommend!

This place is HORRIBLE!We wanted to take our kids out somewhere while visiting my mom. We thought this would be a fun place to pass some time. We did the Adventure Zone area. One of the main & probably only fun thing was closed (the ride in the middle of the room)There is NO AIR CONDITIONING! The games in the arcade are falling apart. Where they keep the reptiles is just sad. They have no room to move around. You spend $40 for no air, broken arcade games and get to see animal abuse.

Great place but it was so hot upstairs we cut our visit short. Would have liked to enjoy some air conditioning on a hot sunny Florida day.

Awesome museum with a large gift shop full of interesting fossils, gemstones, and archeology related toys. I spent almost 3 hours here, mostly walking thru the dinosaur exhibit. The museum staff was well knowledged and would walk around giving additional information on different dinosaurs as well has show off skulls and talons from different dinosaurs for comparison. I went with my girlfriend has two adults and had a great time and Im sure this would be just has fun for a whole family. Great place to spent a few hours and learn something.

The acoustics are very realistic and the exhibition features realistic animals so it might be a little overwhelming for smaller children.Great place for adults!

My Grandson had his 17th Birthday so I ask him to go to the Dinosaur Store with me. I ask him to choose a stone that he felt drew his energy. He chose aTurquoise. We browsed for over an hour enjoying all the Wonderful stones and all the energy they emitted.Thanks Dinosaur StoreYour The Best

My 9 and 12-year-old sons enjoyed the arcade. My sons and my teenage daughters also enjoyed the museum. We had a little birthday lunch at some nice tables outside that were shaded by palms.

They have excellent exhibits and the staff is extremely knowledgeable! There are a few things that made me give them a 1 star review. First, they suggested that we do their interactive section filled with games and live animals. We did. The games were all broken. Disclosure, Im not some activist against animals in captivity, when done properly. But their displays were extremely sad. They had alligators in the smallest possible enclosures. You could see how unhealthy and docile they were as a result. Second, the whole time we were in the gift shop, we were literally followed around. They treated us like we were going to steal one of their $12 stones. When they werent following us, a particular staff member literally stared at us the WHOLE time, again keeping a watchful eye on us potential thieves. We paid a lot of money to go and support a local business. The overall experience was great. But the end ruined it, capping our experience with scenes of sad animals and being treated like criminals. You guys need to change how you treat your guests. Or were you just treating me like that because my American flag mask and shirt with a flag made of guns offended you?

So much is packed into this building. Fantastic taxidermy amd replicas. The store has some truly amazing artifacts. Well worth the visit. Should take about two hours to walk through if you read through the information.

Excellent museum! The staff is amazing. My young son says the gentleman who gave us a tour deserves a five star review - he was so patient will all of my kiddos questions and shared an amazing amount of knowledge with us all. Great museum, great exhibits, phenomenal staff.

The Dinosaur Store is definitely a one-of-a-kind place with tons of unique fossils and stones you can purchase. Even if youre not into geology, youll find the store fascinating. My friends and I also visited the two-story museum and enjoyed all the dinosaur and ancient Egyptian artifacts they have on display.

Took my wife and the grandkids here. We all had a great time. The kids had a blast and every staff member there was extremely helpful and professional.

I was stunned to find how up-to-date many of their dinosaur reconstructions are! Theres a whole display of feathered dinosaurs, not to mention the full-scale Guanlong out in the main area. Simple-english diagrams showing what makes dinosaurs dinosaurs, the link between birds and dinos, and the evolution of our own species! Some of the reconstructions were rather dated, but any proper scientific dinosaur enthusiast will tell you, there is a real value in the respect for knowing where we came from, with regards to our understanding of dinosaurs. I see older models as a reference to that time, and cherish it just as I do the feathered theropod reconstructions!It took me about an hour to get through the dinosaur portion of the museum, but I was also by myself. Adjust for longer or shorter if youre bringing a family! There are a very surprising number of authentic fossils on display as well (not to mention all the fossils for sale downstairs in the shop! SWOON)! Really high quality dioramas and lighting, I was very pleased with the exhibits and the museum as a whole.

This Museum/Store was amazing. There is so much to see and learn about dinosaurs, extinct animal, fossils and so much more. The lady named Brittany was working the dinosaur area (2nd floor) was such a delight to be around. Her knowledge of Dinosaur was beyond my expectations. Her personality was bubbly and exciting. She was amazing. I don’t care what age you are this place is a must see.When I visit Cocoa Beach again I will be returningBrandy :)

First floor is the store of a bunch of dinosaur stuff, minerals, and souvenirs for all ages. Second and third floors have dinosaur and mummies and ancient china, central america, etc. Admission was $14, which I thought it was a bit much, but the content was enough to enjoy for about an hour or so. It would be a good place to go with families.

I absolutely love this place. Its easy to spend way more time in here than you originally intended. The Museum on the second and third floors are also amazing and very extensive for the little price you pay. So much to see! It took us 4 hours to see it all! I always make it a point to stop by the Dinosaur Store anytime Im in the cocoa beach area!

Not a great as I thought. Way too much non dinosaur stuff. A lot of replica items. Fine for a one time visit, but Ive seen much better. If you are looking for a place to buy small pieces of dinosaur bones, there is a place in St. Augustine on King George Street that has a much bigger selection and varying prices.

My grandkids really enjoyed it lots of stuff to look at and read about. Very educational clean and the staff was very helpful.

Since they want to delete my post on Facebook because they know they are wrong!This happened at the dinosaur museum in coco beach!Worst experience of my life, the alligators have no where to move along with the turtle that only has a track to pace. When I tried to talk to the manager the lady started laughing saying they are not dogs, they don’t care about animals and most rides were broke, I spent 36 bucks to see animals be abused. See another review on here about the same thoughts I had. It will honestly make you cry.

A hidden gem for all dinosaur lovers of all ages! My son is obsessed and this was the perfect place for him he had a blast walking through very well designed immersive exhibits and endless fossils and models. Wish we had something like this closer to us. There’s some animatronics and even some non dinosaur history in the last floor. The pass to the play zone is not worth it as it’s really small and not modern, but the museum and the reptile area are fantastic.

Lots of interesting things to see and read about, yet not too lengthy for famalies and kids.

The museum was really cool and the buy one get one free deal for Florida residents was a life saver. The adventure zone was fun even for my age XD.

Really liked the king Tut recreation and I didnt realize how short the Terra Cotta warriors were. My kids loved the dinosaurs and that giant bird across from the ostrich is the stuff of nightmares. Made it to adventure zone and a storm too out the power and they refunded is for that part and pointed out that the original guy over charged us. Would definitely go back of we hadnt seen the whole thing now.

I did not know they have a museum which you have to pay to go in. The store itself is very nice, and sort of a museum itself. Very interesting bones and fossils. I did not go to the museum as I did not have the time to go in but I’d like to go there next time. Overall very nice store.

Even though we have gone here multiple times there is always something new to discover and learn. Great way to spend a rainy afternoon with the grandkids

Closed on Tuesday which is ALWAYS the day i think about visiting. Such an odd day to close. From the outside it looks to be a great store. I will update if and when i actually get inside. I need some crystals!! update: finally got in and not disappointed. The store is free the exhibits you have to pay for. $15 for FL residents....same price as museum of natural history in NY. The one it takes you all day to see most of it. Wow i didnt pay. You also have to pay for the games for the kids. I personally wouldnt being kids through this store. Too many expensive you break you pay items. I did however enjoy the crystals and the staff was very knowledgable. The crystals are expensive but i have seen the same much higher so it is normal prices. I brought several small stones and some earrings. The dinosaur bones are in the part you have to pay for so I only saw through the window outside. Great experience overall and I will go again

Great value and a great place to take kids. It was simple enough for my five year old grandson to have a great time and interesting and informative which from me. We had fun at the party area on the museum level. If you purchase museum and play tickets at the same time you get a discount. Will take it other grandkids there when they visit and would also recommend this as a field trip for schools.

Looking to beat the heat and escape swarming love bugs? Heres an indoor option. The exhibit is pretty small and has some authentic artifacts. Youll have to pass through a store on your way in and out...if you have kids...good luck!

This place is #1 in my book. My grandson had an absolutely wonderful time. He was amazed at wonderful exhibits he saw. Will come again.

Dinosaur Store and museum was worth checking out, me and my family really enjoyed it. You can check out the store which has a wide variety of fossils, minerals and many other things. You can also pay to enter the kids playroom or museum which was also something neat to see. I would recommend a visit!

I live going to this place. They always have really interesting specimens, from meteorites to dinosaur bones they have it all and everything in between. Is also a really educational place to learn about anything from Rocks and minerals to fossils and dinosaurs. This is a great family friendly stop.

They have some very cool fossils. Wouldnt recommend paying extra for Adventure Zone alot of games didnt work.

Museum was awesome. Plenty of information in there. Very well laid out. Loved all the exhibits. The arcade was not so fun. If you are going just go to the museum not worth the price for the arcade add on.

The Dinosaur Store really is more of a museum you can purchase items out of. I have NEVER been to a store like this with so many different specimens. I love my purchases and can’t wait to go back in the future to see what their actual museum looks like. This was just a last minute side stop shopping trip, but after seeing it now... I’ll be back!

We really enjoyed the Museum and the Store. The Museum is a Non-profit organization with a educational program and has great replicas from the prehistoric lives and Ancient Cultures.

This place is awesome! If you or your child is into dinosours, fancey rocks, and paleontology you have to go here. Not well advertised. I just happened to drive by it while on business in Cocoa Beach. If you like what I said above you must stop in! Even if you are driving further south on a Cocoa Beach is not your destination. It will be well worth your time!

We enjoyed the museum and it was very informative. The gameroom could have been better and was not worth the cost but the kids still enjoyed it.While I dont think the cost was worth it I do think the mueseum was very cool and quite fun.

I was afraid this would be a tourist trap, but the rain wouldnt stop so we went in. Lots of great exhibits, fun and educational. This was well worth the $14 price to visit the museum.

Im leaving this review as a patron who only visited the store and the adventure area. Im also leaving this review in regards to Covid.1. If you know a lot about dinosaurs/archeology and are interested in this field then this is the place for you- just based on the store alone. Im sure the museum has even more artifacts.2. Thankful for the hand sanitizer before entering the adventure area, but there is no worker there to ensure that all who enter are utilizing it.3. There are many games available to play for free, but there are also many that do not work or do not work correctly.4. Is it smart to have an interactive area where a microphone is used during Covid?5. There is a reptile enclosure and those reptiles are definitely enclosed. The alligator barely has room to move around. If you are an animal lover this isnt the place that I would suggest.6. There should be a worker in the area cleaning off the games/areas after use.7. Felt like a tourist trap to us- but again, this review is based on the store and adventure area.

One of my favorite stores of all time. An extensive collection of minerals and fossils along with a cool museum upstairs. I have purchased something from here for over 15 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Expected a way smaller place. But it was bigger the it looks and offers alot.

Great place for kids to plearn!2 story museum/exhibit with plenty to see. I like super into rocks and there was a great little space with lots of cool old geo formations, only problem was my daughter was so into the dinosaurs she made me leave the precious stones to search for more huge big birds

Great place to go if kids like dinosaurs, fun exhibit, cool store with lots to see (pricey tho and best to keep kids out of this area). Also theres a arcade/game area in the back (separate admission). If youre in the area and the weather is bad, great place to keep kids entertained for a bit.

Great way to spend a couple hours before a flight.We were in Coco Beach after a cruise and needed something to do until our flight. My wife found the Dinosaur Store and we went. My son and I went to the museum an my wife and daughter went to the arcade/ activity area. My son and I loved the museum, they have done a great job presenting the dinosaurs and artifacts. In addition they have a really nice mineral / rock display that my son loved. The ancient cultures exhibit was nicely done as well.

Nice neat place. The artifacts that they have are pretty good collection. The adventures zone was neat. Looking at live exhibits then playing with clever science games and arcade free style.The shop... wow. I thought it be one of those tacky gift shop cheap meh things.Oh no it was the opposite.....real minerals and gems. Real fossils with actual dates and information on them. I thankfully was on a budget so I couldnt spend what I would have and more. Totally worth just stopping in to check out.The staff was stellar as well. So very educated on history. Not in a sales way but in a knowing facts educational way.I will stop back by this store. Or order online.

My favorite thing about this museum was how they presented the dinosaur exhibit. When you walked in you were not faced with a sterile exhibit of bones, but a diverse biome that really engaged your eye and encouraged discussion.

This place was EXCELLENT. My 9 year old (And all the adults) were amazed at how this place was put together. We were here on a cruise and this was just one idea we had for something to do in Port Canaveral. We ended up walking over to the beach afterwards. Great day!

Great museum, store, and wonderful adventure zone. My husband was very excited that Ms. Pacman was at the game area. Pretty inexpensive for adventure zone. The museum fee was average. It is worth it. We were going to save the adventure for a rainy day. Instead we went when temperatures were around 100 degrees.

A bit pricey, but cool exhibits.

The adventure zone and the museum were AWESOME. The $8 panning is not worth it. Its worth it in the fossils but its a 5 second thing. Take it home and put more sand in a box and have them dig it out at home.

So they just opened the top 2 floors of the museum of dinosaurs and ancient artifacts. We went and it was pretty cool to see all the fossils and dinosaurs and learn new things, the ancient artifacts are also very cool not as many as the dinosaurs but still a good amount to learn new things and experience new things. You get a wristband that is good for the whole day meaning you can go and then if you need/want to leave to go get lunch or something you can come back later that day until they close. I would definitely recommend making a trip to go check it out.

Great place to visit. They did an amazing job, when you go to the museum it’s a lot larger then you’d expect. It’s not bad for the price when you can spend around 2 hours looking at everything.The shop was awesome. It was great to see the things they have in the museum are for sale in the store.

They did a great job filling this space and making it fun to explore with the kids. The only thing I would change is the price, pretty overpriced for what it is.

I found the staff rude and trying to have my three-year-old wear a mask which is unhealthy for any kid under 5.

Hidden gem in the Cape Canaveral area. Great replicas and authentic fossils. King Tut exhibit was excellent as well. Cast fossils for sale are inexpensive and authentic fossils are available to.

I brought my 5 year old son to the Dinosaur Store for something fun to do and it was really not that fun. We had to pay to bring him into an arcade area where a good portion of the arcades were either broken or in very poor shape. Really not worth the money

Great bring yourself your kids your neighbor. Really neat place with good stuff to buy. From fossils to shark teeth. They have very unique items. You wont find just anywhere. Convieiently located on the south side of 520 by A1A.

This place is great! Its full of so many cool fossils, stones, artifacts, and more! I could spend hours and thousands$ in this gift shop! We did the museum too and that was pretty cool.

We had a great time. Kept our 6 yr olds attention and we all had fun. Highly recommend!!
